First comment;Happy this is here, I have been extremely amused with the questline.Second part;Thank you for little things like this.
These guides are so lacking in explanation, I often have to backtrack because of missed steps. Like now after talking to the 3 NPC's with coordinates, only gives you 60% and can't reach the next step.Even worse is while the coordinates paste are listed in the correct order, it becomes the wrong order when pasting because TomTom will set the arrow to the last posted coords... Meaning I always have to cut and paste the first line to the bottom!
I followed the steps with the Idol and nothing happens. I literally stood above two points where the Idol led me to. Anyone got a solution for that?
So it's going to be 16 days most likely to finish the guest relations achieve, which leads to the second half of the secrets event? Oof
I wonder how we're supposed to find him, we follow the tracks and suddenly nothing and on the other side of the area bam, there he is.
Meanwhile Alyx still can't give "The Great Detective" At least for me.
The idol didn't seem to help me at all, in most situations. Luckily, I found the waypoint from a poster on Wowhead. I do enjoy these riddles tho!
First thought the quest bugged and spawned two npc, and the way you figure out who the fake one is made me laugh so much. Great quests.
There's another clue less subtle than the difference in egotism. The real detective had Leeroy's chicken for breakfast. The fake one went at lunchtime and was confused when Leeroy offered to make him what he had made him earlier for breakfast.
Completed it and didn't get any tokens.
Guest Relations questline and Celebration Crates are working overtime to get me to the 100 tokens mark so I can actually start farming properly. I suspect by tomorrow anyone like me who has no purchased the expansion will be able to start farming with the introduction of any more quests in the chain and any discoverable crates added. If even two crates are added, that's all it'll take thanks to the buff to 5 tokens earned from them.
For those not interested in completely shortcutting the process of finding the shapeshifter after properly accusing him, there are a bunch of spots where hoofprints are visible. Initially it's a continuous line of them and then they become "intermittent" in the sands, so follow the trail of hoof prints (takes some searching) and you will come to the shapeshifter. A friend and I did it without using the coordinates.
I just accused one of them at random and got to the last part where I had to kill Y'llia. Guess I was lucky.
