Epic Weapons

Another perk to being a scribe is the ability to craft upgradable weapons that turn into ilvl 476 epics.

You will need Spirit of Harmony to craft all the weapons, which is a BoP drop, and more importantly, will need 20 Scroll of Wisdom for the epic weapons and 5 Scroll of Wisdom for the epic offhands.

Scroll of Wisdom can only be created once a day and are BoP, so you might find something better in the few weeks it takes to make them all.

The bonus is that all these weapons are Bind-on-Account, so any alts will get a free epic.

Glyphs

Prime glyphs have been removed. This was done in an effort to simplify things and incorporate the benefits of prime glyphs into abilities.

Minor glyphs are intended to have cosmetic effects.

Many "new" glyphs share an item ID with "removed" glyphs from Cataclysm--your characters will automatically have these new glyphs learnt.

All new glyphs with reagents can be found here.

Many recipes are learned from trainers, but thirty-seven can be learned from Scroll of Wisdom, and several from mobs on the Timeless Isle. Full list of glyphs here.

In Patch 5.4, new glyph techniques can be either BoP world drops or BoE techniques from specific mobs on the Timeless Isle.

Death KnightMajor Glyphs

Charred Glyph: Causes your Anti-Magic Shell to absorb all incoming magical damage, up to the absorption limit. Old: Increases the duration of your Anti-Magic Shell by 2 sec.

Charred Glyph: Reduces the cooldown of your Icebound Fortitude by 50%, but also reduces its duration by 75%. Increases your movement speed by 15% while is active. This does not stack with other movement-speed increasing effects.

Charred Glyph: Your Chains of Ice also causes 144 to 156 Frost damage, with additional damage depending on your attack power.

Charred Glyph: Increases your threat generation by 100% while your Dancing Rune Weapon is active, but reduces its damage dealt by 25%. Old: Increases your threat generation by 100% while your Dancing Rune Weapon is active, but reduces the parry chance gained by 5%. / Increases your threat generation by 50% while your Dancing Rune Weapon is active.

Charred Glyph: When you kill an enemy that yields experience or honor, while in Frost or Unholy Presence, your next Death Strike within 15 sec is free and will restore at least 20% of your maximum health. Old: Your next Death Strike performed while in Frost or Unholy Presence, within 15 sec after killing an enemy that yields experience or honor, will restore at least 20% of your maximum health.

Charred Glyph: Your Death and Decay also reduces the movement speed of enemies within its radius by 50%. Old: Increases the duration of your Death and Decay spell by 50%.

Charred Glyph: Your Death Coil spell is now usable on all allies. When cast on a non-undead ally, Death Coil shrouds them with a protective barrier that absorbs up to 16 damage. Old: Increases the damage or healing done by Death Coil by 15%.

Fantastic guide. One small error, though; Glyph of Verdant Spheres, a Warlock Minor Glyph is listed in the class' Major Glyphs.

Does not tell WHERE to find the techniques nor if you MUST be a scribe in order for them to drop. So still have to look up each individual glyph to find out where to get it. Would be nice especially with the Timeless Isle ones to know what to go killing for which technique at a glance. Trying to find out if you must be one in order to get them and cannot find an answer anywhere.

Once scroll of wisdom stops teaching you glyphs does that mean you have them all, or just all MoP techniques?
