Basic skill of the Monk. Due to the passive Fighting style it "morphs" into Club, Slice, Sever, Pike and Clobber in function of the weapon. (If you use fist weapons, it stays as Jab)

The damage formula looks rather complicated but ends up putting Two-handed damage and DW damage almost exactly the same as each other, assuming equal iLevel.

I've not been on Beta in a while, but from memory, these are the names of the Jab abilites, depending on the weapon you have equipped.

Fist Weapons/Unarmed: Jab
Axes: Sever
Swords: Slice
Staves: Clobber
Maces: Club
Polearms: Pike

Currently seems bugged to me, as it deals just about 50% of the autoattack damage for my Brewmaster monk, rendering her quite painful to play with..

I understand it scales off main hand item level.
Heirloom weapons are pretty useless as for now...

You Jab the target, dealing (1.5 * 1.2 * 1 * (0.898882) * (mwb / MWS) + 1 * ($owb / 2 / $ows) + (AP / 14) - 1))) to (1.5 * 1.2 * 1 * (0.898882) * (MWB / (MWS + 1 * ($OWB / 2 / $ows) + (AP / 14) + 1))) damage and generating 1 Chi.)

Does MWB, MWS and $OWB, $OWS mean Main Weapon Base/Second and Off Weapon Base/Second?

Looking at the math involved, I'm curious if there isn't a misplaced ( involved here. Using the following numbers:

mwb/owb - 6807
MWB/OWB - 12644
MWS/OWS - 2.6
AP - 27572

You end up with 7513.483 - 4.644 damage. If you adjusted the max damage to "(MWB / MWS) +1" like the min damage is, you get 7513.483 - 12270.365 damage.
