If you are fighting a rogue or a fellow druid, use this! They will not be able to hide, and their armor will be decreased, so you can shift into bear form and pound them, or shift into cat, and the hunter will become the hunted. It's nice to turn the tables on them. :)

Note the much longer duration. It is now a good idea to put this up on boss fights for balance druids, without fear of screwing up the rotation.

With the difficulty healers have going OoM, I'd recommend Resto druids avoid using this debuff in dungeons unless absolutely necessary. Balance druids can spare the mana for it, but Resto needs to save every last drop of mana.

Does anyone have a sense of--outside of rogues--how useful this is in PvP? It takes me three GCD as a tree to get up three stacks for a 15% armor debuff. But in that time I can also hit Moonfire and Insect Swarm. So is it better to put up one stack of FF and then two DOTs or three stacks of FF. I'm assuming I have a partner/s and not 1v1.

I guess another way to ask the question is to ask if it's better to give my partner/s a 10% additional DPS bonus or do, at level 85, about 17K damage to the target.

When you're not in a group, it'll use the first line, and when you're grouped it'll use the second line. It casts Faerie Fire on mouseover and also when you tab target normally, depending on what stance you're in and also Swipe for 2 seconds after you've used it.. replace it with another spell if you wish.

/startattack for making sure you start meleeing right away. Glyph of Faerie Fire increases the range to 45 yards and I'm also making use of the 3 piece bonus from Field Marshal's Sanctuary.

Handy for running around doing 1 button skinning in low level areas. I've got it bound to a mouse button for easy living.

Notice the line added at the end there. It tells the macro to click a second macro button that in this example is on the Bottom Right Action Bar, button 12. In other words it's two macros in one. The reason for doing this is that the first macro won't have the space to include everything. Here's the second macro:

/use Tiger's Fury
/use Feral Charge(Cat Form)
/use Skull Bash(Cat Form)
/use Dash
/use Darkflight
So now we have even more goodies with that one single button. It'll use Tiger's Fury on CD, Charge and/or Skull Bash, followed by Dash and then finally Darkflight if you're a Worgen. This works because these abilities are not on the Global Cooldown - they can be activated at the same time as other skills. You can play around with this and see if you come up with a nice twist to it, and then report back to us so we can all benefit. Thanks :)

Since the Cataclysm, Faerie Fire is comparable to and does not stack with Protection Warriors' , Assassination Rogues' , Hunters' Raptors' , or Hunters' Serpents' .

This spell prevents the use of quite a few abilities in PvP:

Druid: Prowl
Hunter: Camouflage, Prowl (pet ability)
Mage: Greater Invisibility, Invisibility
Priest: Spectral Guise
Rogue: Stealth, Vanish
Warlock: Lesser Invisibility (Succubus ability)
Night Elf (racial): Shadowmeld

However, some specs can counter the effect by dispelling it (notably all healer specs as well as rogues with Cloak of Shadows).
