You can get this bonus to damage if you use Glyph of Hemorrhage, as it counts as a bleed, which is also boosted by Hemorrhage's +30% bleed damage effect.

This is essentially a flat 10% damage buff once you get into your rotation.

As of 4.0.6 this causes gouge to no longer be broken by bleed effects such as Glyph of Hemorrhage, Rupture and Garrote

This makes this talent a pretty must have talent for shadowdance PvP as it allows you use of an extra cc should you need to regain stealth, pool your energy, kite or even just wait for the bleeds to tick a bit without needing to wait for the bleeds to come off first

Coupled with Honor Among Thieves this also means you can achieve a much more consistent combo point generation as more bleeds ticking = higher chance of bleeds critting adding a CP

As of Tuesday, May 24, 2011 on the Public Test Realms, it appears that this has been buffed to an 8/16% chance, up from 5/10%.

Sanguinary Vein damage to bleeding targets has been increased to 8/16%, from 5/10%.

I'm guessing this isn't stack able but I will still ask, Does this effect stack is Rupture+Garrote+Glyph of Hem= 48%?

For rogues (mostly for PvP, since rupture should always be up in PvE) who want to check if any of their bleeds are up, here's the Power Aura I use. Just go to power auras in game and Import, then copy/paste the text in the box below into the box in game, then move it where you want. It works with Glyphed Hemo, Rupture, and Garrote.
