Renew is the druids' staple healing spell. It is the most mana efficient Heal over Time spell in the game.

Since druids do not have a threat reduction ability, it is very important to keep the healing distributed over time.

This is formerly an AQ20 drop, as of patch 2.0.1 you can get this spell from any Druid trainer.

Odd about the lack of comments about this great spell. Anyway, here are some tips quoted directly from Wowwiki:

Where's all the comments for such a nice spell?
They've increased the time of this spell from 12 seconds to 15 seconds - also the amount healed.
Seems to be as good as always; Instant cast, low mana cost and a high amount of healing.

Cast Rejuv within a second or two of your main tank gaining aggro. Because Rejuv is a 'slow threat' builder, your tank will continue to stay ahead on threat while being alleviated of much of his/her initial damage.

this spell is the one i use the most when raidhealing, along with wild growth on every cd. with proper talents and with Idol of Awakening this spell costs under 400 mana wich makes it VERY efficient

In conjunction with raid-healing, Gift of the Earthmother makes it much faster to get on multiple targets.

Also, if you have Revitalize it does even more for your raid.

The new 4pT10 bonus says: Each time your Rejuvenation spell heals a target, it has a 2% chance to jump to a new target at full duration.

This means that raid-healing druids may even find situations where new rejuvination is putting itself on the raid before they need to. This utility of this talent will depend on whether the proc intelligently targets a person with no Rejuvenation on, or the lowest-duration Rejuvenation in range. If it can overwrite Rejuvinations that are already at long duration, it is of less value.

Note that starting with this rank 13 rejuvenation has a 18% base mana cost, as oposed to 21% as it used to be between from rank 1 to rank 12.

If you're making a new druid and like the auto-target self for your heals, be careful. This spell will heal your target and probably has a 30% chance of screwing you over.

Live 3.3 is up and all ranks of rejuvenation is now 15 seconds :)

They are not reducing the duration, instead, making all previous ranks which used to be 12 seconds into 15 seconds. According to the current 3.3 patch notes which is released today and will be live in a couple of hours.

I would dare to say that this is the most efficient hot in the game in terms of healing and mana cost. On my resto drood (2700ish healing) this heals about 15,000 for a low mana cost, the best thing is that it's spammable for all day. Druid defining spell.

Rejuvenation is the first spell a druid learns at level 3. The cost is 57 copper and this is a part of a learning quest now.

Currently, on the PTR (4.3) the effect for Rejuvenation has changed. While currently it has that green swirling effect, now it's still green but no more swirling. It's an inner pulsing glow from the player with twinkles around it - almost kinda like fire flies? Also, the sound effect has what sounds like chimes in it.

Rejuvenation is the staple healing spell for Resto Druids. Use it often, especially with the ! I like to have a few of these running on injured raid members at the same time, but only if mana allows, of course.

This is really great tool in our arsenal. Use it well, use it often, and you're on your way to excelling at playing a Resto Druid.
