Actually, you don't have to worry about prisoners spawning...you should worry more about the keys dropping. It's really a crappy drop rate. Must pair up with the two quests mentioned above.

Be sure to open the cages that actually contains prisoners... it will save you LOADS of time. It is a whore if you don't keep your eyes awake.

For me this was a >20% drop rate, i found that the brutes dropped keys more than warlocks.

go into the cave at 27,18.

the drop rate from the mobs in there is about 30%. got 15 keys in like thirty minutes.

If your a hunter (or druid?) you can use track humanoids and it will show you the caged prisoners.

This quest sucks. Drop rate is bad and you have to get 15 keys. This takes A LOT of time. If you have spare time get ready for grinding keys.

Drop rate on this is very poor, roughly 20% or maybe a bit more, you'll be up here for a long time grinding for enough keys. An upside is they seem to drop Obsidian Warbeads with a fairly high % so at least you get some rep, as well as them giving 10 rep per kill.

The compound at 24,28 (stay to the left as you go up the path) has been a good spot to do this and the war on the warmaul quest. on my most recent character, killed 16 brutes, 15 warlocks and got 17 keys.

Only one time in the compound did I have to wait for a prisoner, and I was waiting for ogre's to respawn anyways.

Keys stack, so you don't need to use each one when you loot it.

Make sure there is a prisoner in a cage before opening one, though. I managed to waste a key by opening an empty cage from which I had let a prisoner out a little earlier. At the droprate of the keys, you don't want to do this too many times...

I received 700 reputation for completing this quest right now. I am a level 80 warlock and I was neutral with the Mag'har when I picked up this quest.

There used to be a horrible drop rate, but they seemed to have fixed it, I got five keys and only killed 12. It is also very convenient to get Obsidian Warbeads and Oshu'gan Crystal Powder while killing the ogres. These you can turn in for reputation.

Elder Ungriz at the Mag'hari Procession in Nagrand has asked that you free 5 Mag'har Prisoners.

Description

If I know anything about ogres, it's that they like their food fresh. This means that the Mag'har that they captured are more than likely being kept alive until they are ready to serve. It's a sickening thought, I know, but one that we must use to our advantage.

Venture to Warmaul Hill and search for Mag'har prisoners. If you find prisoners, then you will find keys to their cages on the nearby Warmaul ogres.

Kill ogres for their keys and release the prisoners.
