This is now fixed this morning, id hazard a guess after it was fixed during the rolling restarts (US).

The NPC is again on the boat and the Hull of the ship is full of mobs. I was able to complete this and the rest of the chain in a single run.

Respawn time and amout is fixed :) If you die, you are released alive at small isle with Juniper, where you can come aboard again

This was horribly camped when I went. Like 10 people in the hold tagging every mob as soon as it spawned.

I moved on. No way am I going to make myself nuts trying for it under those conditions.

As a combat rogue, do NOT use Killing Spree aboard the ship as it's moving. I found out the hard way and stepped not only through shadows, but also through the hull, leaving me with a fun swim around the reef.

Recently on Drak'thul, the undead mobs you need to kill are immune to all damage, so the quest is bugged for several people trying to get the zone quest achievement, and trying to finish the chain to get the blue reward.

I was able to attack the other day but all they did was evade and despawn in about 20seconds.
Is it possible that not all of them are bugged? Just wondering because the spore quest in frozen glade had like three that you could kill but all others were bugged.

Do not use AoE attacks. The boat moves but your AoE will remain at the coords where you called it, so it slides along the floor. Basically, you aggro the entire group below decks.

horrible quest, only 1 sea dog below, and the re-spawn is about 2 min, took about 10 min of sitting there to complete this quest.

I have yet to see a fix, there is currently a line of about 5 people waiting to camp this one mob for 5 kills and 5 kegs on Bloodhoof US.... :(

To those Death Knights that are trying to do this quest and are seeing the warnings about using AOE's (Death and Decay) and also worrying about pulling all the mobs on the bottom of the ship at once.... As of 3.0.8, the same bug that affects AOE's can also work to your favor; If you use Death Grip to try and pull a mob without without pulling the whole floor, it will reduce the number of mobs you will have to deal with by one. It pulls them to the coords you were on when you cast it (outside the ship somewhere, provided the ship was moving when you did it). The mob will not come back, so you can just wait for cooldowns and use Death Grip to eliminate mobs. Since we know the drop rate is 100%, we can bring the total number of mobs in the area down to five, then just take them out in whatever way works for you.

Hi, I'm a 100% unholy death knight lv70 (and 69 then)and I did this mutiny part on two roundtrips. I just pulled most murlocks to the upper deck. In fact they seemed to stay at the back of the hull when their buddy was being beaten. Stupid was to try to walk in the middle of them(tried once and never again). They seem to start following you up the stairs pretty easily one by one. I should mention that I have master of ghouls and my ghoul hits ~as hard as my Felguard with my warlock(undead, lv 68) So a minion really makes you as a dk ~1.5-2 players group.

Another Druids beware moment:

Do not use Typhoon

I decided, I'll make this nice and quick and aggro it all (I was unaware of the Hurricane difficulties at the time) and decided to get em all with Typhoon. Little did I know that this would literally blow them off the ship. I'm almost certain this caused them to despawn, leaving me with only one mob leftover and the others simply refused to respawn. One mobs to kill every two minutes sucks and all of this is probably the root of everyone's similar troubles as well.

Wow...this quest has an interesting bug. I killed all the mobs and they are ALL stuck in an infinite death loop, falling apart over and over again until they disappear for respawn.....O.o

It was funny as hell I went in with my warrior and use whirlwind and they looked like they were doing up downs from football. 100% drop. easy 10 second quest.

IF you happen to die you will be spawned at the GY where you get on the ship in the first place BUT you have to wait for it to come back around.

That didn't appear at quest track list, if you are trying to do I've Toured the Fjord, perhaps you will try to find three or four quests somewhere, just check your questlist (L).

100% drop on the barrels, but if you're not the only one on the quest and someone else pulls all the mobs and downs them, you're looking at a stupidly long wait for the mobs to respawn and likely will have to wait for the ship to make another pass.

Bottleneck quests are great, heh.

Welp, as of 4 December 2016, the mobs aren't spawning at all, even after multiple trips of the ship around its little route. The only thing that's happened is that my toon was attacked by an Orca while she was standing below decks on the ship. I've tried coming back at random times and nothing doing. Have seen other players run in, and then run out again in frustration. Did a ticket and, eventually a bug report, but who knows when or if this will get fixed. It's very annoying because this is blocking one branch of a four-branched quest chain.

Description

Aye, we got problems, matey. Me gunners have mutinied! M'n'the crew up top be tryin' to kick Sorlof's keester while dealin' with the mutinous gunners down'blo.

Ye're gonna have to go down'blo and deal with those mutinous sea dogs and take their blastin' powder for the big'un o'er on the poop deck.

With ye mannin' the big'un, Sorlof is sure to die and give up the booty!
