Note that, in Beta at least, you can't pick up a frog while mounted. You can click them, but they just disappear.

Doesn't always work on live, regardless of mount, I tried to pick up 6 before I hit attack on one by accident, just as i get the blow and realise I get a little "picked up something squishie" noise and got the frog.
Not sure if it is related in any way, but worth a shot if people have trouble getting one perhaps ;)

Scalawag Frog: Around the docks and tents. Just right click the frogs. You must be unmounted for this to work.
Silver Knife: Purchased from "Silvermoon" Harry in the tent 35, 80.

If you've done the quest he uses the sun's rays to reflect it off the knife onto the frog and mesmerize it, to show them where the traitor is.

Funny thing, If you pick up 2 frogs, one will show up in your inventory with <Made by (name)>

Ok as the above is all crapp!, Silver Moon Harry is in the tent and contrary to what the quest makes you think You dont need the knife to do the frog bit. why do people talk about rubbish on here and not the quest? which is what people come here to look at.

A Carver and a Croaker

Get a Shiny Knife from "Silvermoon" Harry and capture a Scalawag Frog. Bring these to Zeh'Gehn at Scalawag Point.

Description

Some of the pirates around here... we have our own special way of talking. Zeh'gehn has... many different special ways of talking... all mixed together.

From what I can tell he wants a frog and a knife.

"Silvermoon" Harry might have a knife on the cheap. There's frogs all over town, just grab one and bring it to him along with the knife.

I'd hate to be in the poor critter's shoes, if you know what I mean.
