There are North Fleet Marines on all 3 ships but one of them doesn't seem to be accessible.

While currently this quest is fairly bugged and the third ship can't be boarded through natural means, you can board it by water walking and then entering through the cannon windows on the north eastern side. I have no doubt this will be corrected in the future though.

These guys respawn fast. You can hear them fighing one of the good guys (they are always in pairs), so run to where you hear a skirmish, help a good guy kill the bad guy, listen, and run to the next one.

You can hear fighting below decks from top deck and visa-versa.

Very easy and quick quest, even when the place is crowded.

The North Fleet ships are southeast of Vengeance Landing. Swim to the land that is located in between the ships at 83.9 37.0 . From this land you can go to two of the ships, either ship has the North Fleet Marines. The first ship is located at 84.4 36.0 and the second ship is located at 83.5 38.0 . On each ship there are levels below the ship where you can find more of the North Fleet Marines. Kill 15 of these Marines and turn your quest in to Captain Harker. He is located on the first boat. His coordinates are 84.7 36.4 .

Its wierd.. I'm priest and when i kill one of the marines i dont get kill for it.. I get loot but not the kill :S Soem sort of bugg or wtf?

I had to hearth out of a boat as I got stuck under a cannon (as you do) and when I returned to the bat handler she didn't offer me a trip back to the boat. I had to swim! Hmph.

I know why this wasn't a walk in a park, as it should have been. These horde see dogs are completely worthless. They hack away at these alliance marine soldiers non-stop, without them taking a scratch. I came along and instantly their health bars disappeared. Get better soldiers.

I don't know, maybe I'm just too powerful.

Exactly 15 marines on the ship. I was lucky and found them all alive.
So you can stay on only this one to get your quest completed.

Listening to "He's a Pirate" while fighting the alliance invaders does not give you special abilities other than posing as Jack Sparrow (available only to Rogues unfortunately D=).

Well, I fell off the boat too, but jumped back on again via the big rock next to it. (After returning to the Bat Handler and finding her suddenly most unhelpful, admittedly.)

This quest currently seems bugged along with a few other Howling Fjord Horde quests in the same area. The mobs only spawn occasionally although you can hear them fighting and dying in the background. I got to 5 kills then they stopped respawning completely.

I'm playing Wrath Classic 3.4. This quest is very poorly designed. If you fall off the boat and don't have flying or water walking, the quest line is dead forever. You can't get back, the guy who flies you there, only does it once, and the quest is taken from the boat, so if you drop it, you can't even pick it back up. Way to fail, Blizzard, a decade later and this quest is still garbage.

Captain Harker aboard the Windrunner wants you to kill 15 North Fleet Marines.

Description

This should have been a walk in the park. Their forces are hungry, injured and ill equipped. Yet somehow, we walked right into their trap.

We approached these reefs from the south to gain cover and were immediately boarded by the Alliance dogs.

I'm sorry to say, if you want our cannons to fire at anything, you're going to have to help us take our ships back.
