Beta Spell Changes

There are many different talent changes and re-orderings.

Some Artifact Traits have been turned into Talents or baseline spells.

AoE Crowdcontrol Effects got nerfed, following the ideas shown in Blizzard's recent Blogpost.

Some spells have really low base values because they are already including item level and stat changes for BfA.

This is a very early view on the Battle For Azeroth's class concepts, nothing here is final.

Class Highlights

Death Knights get and Death's Advance as new abilities.

Demon Hunters have many talents are new, revamped or removed.

Druids have Frenzied Regeneration changed in Bear Form, Tiger Dash changed for Cat Form, and Hibernate and Soothe have returned.

Hunters have Tranquilizing Shot readded and many talents are new, revamped or removed.

Mages have Arcane Intellect as a returning ability.

Monks with the Brewmaster Specialization had Stagger's effectiveness halved and Windwalker monks have some new talents.

Paladins had Divine Steed and Blessing of Freedom cooldown increased.

Priests have Power Word: Fortitude as a returning ability and many talents have swapped tiers. now doesn't kill you for Shadow Priests!

Rogues have many new talents including Poison Bomb returning as a talent and Cloak of Shadows and Feint were slightly nerfed.

Shamans have Tremor Totem returning!

Warlocks had Life Tap changed to grant a Soul Shard, but has a cooldown. Warlocks also have many new talents.

Warriors have many talents that are new, changed or revamped.

Arcane Torrent Silence all enemies within 8 yards for 2 sec and restore 3% of your mana. Non-player victim spellcasting is also interrupted for 3 sec.

Shivarran Symmetry For the first 3 sec after activating Blade Flurry, your melee attacks strike all nearby enemies for 65%39% of normal damage.

Pristine Proto-Scale Girdle Lava Burst deals an additional (54%13.5% of Spell power) damage over 6 sec. Stacks up to 5 times.

The Blood Elf race is as popular as it is because that racial is so much more useful than so many of the alternatives.

Looking at the rest of what my Vengeance Demon Hunter is in for: the physical damage mitigation cooldown that the spec's Mastery revolves around now has a 20 second cooldown instead of 15 seconds with no change in duration, the spell damage mitigation cooldown is entirely removed, Soul Cleave and Spirit Bomb now draw in a maximum of 3 soul doodads instead of 5, so they'll deal less damage and heal for less even after the stat squish is accounted for, and Flame Crash appears to have been removed, which doubles the number of targeted ground effect spells that I have to target manually in the middle of a standard attack rotation. WOW.
