What happened in the vision? I think the quest was bugged as the Sedai ghost just stood there. I got credit for completing it anyways.

The vision was bugged as well for me the first time, but on my second character, his ghost wasn't standing there at the beginning and it worked. It's a little disjointed at the end though, so I'm not sure it's working quite as intended.

Sedai is being escorted from the Mag'har Camp by two brown Mag'har orcs: "Do not return, draenei scum. Next time we won't spare your life, unarmed or not!"

Sedai says, "I've failed... peace is impossible."

The orcs start to return but are attacked by two fel orcs, Laughing Skull Ambushers. Sedai intervenes. One of the Mag'har orcs is killed, as are the two ambushers. Sedai goes and kneels on the place where his corpse is, saying "The cycle of bloodshed is unending. Is there nothing I can do?"

Another fel orc, Krun Spinebreaker, shows up and kills the last Mag'har orc, saying "You can die!" He doesn't kill Sedai, though, who just disappears where he was kneeling on his corpse.

Had it semi-bug once or twice. The Mag'har managed to kill the assassin and krun, and in the end they all just stood there, looking slightly lost.

This quest is a simple "watch this happen" quest, with no combat available (unless you're inattentive to the nearby Hulking Hellboars).

If you've forgotten, Sedal's Corpse is easily reached by leaving the quest giver, heading to the flight path, then by hopping over the rail. It's the glowing white body near the mountain wall.

Both of the laughing skull survived, so did the assassin. Something I think you forgot is that when the laughing skull ambushers appear Sedal says "what in the name of the Light"...

Probably because it was meant as innuendo to the... animosities between Alliance and Horde players. Ignorant members of both sides are quick to blame the other side or to start a fight, and further tense the factions' "relations".

This quest should NOT be flagged Both, this is an Alliance only quest (Should be obvious since its pre-requisite is Alliance only and the quest giver is in an Alliance outpost!)

As of this patch quest is semi bugged and if you cant get the vision you have to spam click the item and then you will receive a notice saying "Vision Granted:1/1" the vision does not show up but you can still turn in and complete quest.

When I went to use the relic, nothing happened at all, but the quest was automatically completed afterwards. The quest, as I hear, is bugged, but you still get your rewards. :D

Same with me. On an alliance toon i tried to use the relic, but it looked like i would start to use it and stop, so i just spam clicked it for about 10-15 seconds until it just says Vision granted:1/1 in the corner of the screen, so i turned the quest in, majorly bugged quest, kinda made me upset.

Still bugged as of 3.1.1.
Although, in response to previous comments about spamming the Seer's Relic, I didn't need to do that. I clicked it, then got into a fight with a Helboar that got too close and looked at me funny. During the fight sometime, I got the quest complete text, 'Vision Granted 1/1'.

I'm assuming that as with before the quest bug, the quest complete text is on a timer. While we don't see it, the quest is completed after Sedai is thrown out by the Orcs.

I just completed this quest - and it was NOT bugged when I did it (Level 62 MM Night Elf Hunter of Twisting Nether).
Patch 3.2.2 (or something like that).

He ends up dying completely from the backstab of the "assassin", and does fall down onto where his corpse is.
Blizzard has fixed this one.

I completed the quest today with absolutely no problems. As a matter of fact, when I dropped the relic, the ghost appeared and it just automatically was completed. Fairly simple from what it seems. Good luck to everyone else attempting this! :D

Hasn't been bugged on ANY of my characters - done the quest in total nine times so far, first time in patch 2.3, latest just now. The scripted event has always flowed on perfectly fine for me.

Clicked on the item, nothing happened, then I spam cliked it, and it just completed the quest.. no event.

Cata's out -- still bugged.

Spamming the relic isn't necessary either, just click it once and a few moments later the quest will complete.. If his ghost isn't already standing there, you'll probably get to see what happened, but it seems his ghost gets stuck somehow, so the "vision" never plays out.

I'd already done that other quest as Horde, so I knew the Mag'har probably hadn't slaughtered the guy, and was really curious to see what had actually happened. Sadly, won't be on this toon. Maybe they'll get it fixed by the next expansion.

Bugged out for me tonight. The spirit was just standing in front of the corpse, unmoving, the whole time, and nothing else happened, although I did get credit after a little while.

I've done this quest several times, and this was the first time it didn't work.

1. The Seer's Relic
• Accept The Seer's Relic from Amaan the Wise at coords 23.4, 36.6 (Temple of Telhamat).
• Travel east of the Temple of Telhamat to coords 26.8, 37.4.
• Click on Sedai's Corpse and then click the Seer's Relic, you were provided.
• Watch the exchange between the spirits of Vindicator Sedai and the Orcs.
• After the dialogue is complete, travel west, back to the Temple of Telhamat, to coords 23.4, 36.6, and turn in the quest to Amaan the Wise.

The fastest way to begin this quest is to follow these steps:

The begin quest can be found at The Temple of Telhamat.

1. Search for the NPC Anchorite Obadai and accept his quest In Search of Sedai.
2. When you found Sedai's corpse (a little outside the village), you can click on him and turn in the quest.
3. Accept Return to Obadei from Sedai's corpse.
4. Go back to Anchorite Obadai and turn in the quest.
5. A little next to him stands Makuru who provides the quest: Makuru's Vengeance.
6. After you've accepted, completed and turned in Makuru's quest, a little dialogue start between Anchorite Obadai and Makuru.
7. After the dialogue you can accept another quest from Anchorite Obadai: Atonement.
8. This is just speaking to another NPC; Amaan the Wise.
9. Accept Amaan the Wise's quest: Sha'naar Relics
10. When you've completed the quest turn it in and accept the next (and last) quest: The Seer's Relic.

The Seer's Relic

Amaan the Wise at the Temple of Telhamat in Hellfire Peninsula wants you to return to Sedai's Corpse, northeast of the Temple of Telhamat, and use the Seer's Relic at that location. Return to him after you've completed this task.

Description

The stubborn close their mind and convince themselves of one truth. The wise keep an open mind to the different possibilities leading to and stemming from the present.

Take this relic with you to where you found Sedai. See not with your eyes, <name>, but with your mind.
