Talk to the Wingmaster left of the Quest giver and he will send you away on a Gryphon.

Left click the bombs in your inventory to get the target square and then bomb the 2 Green Towers to complete the quest.

Note that the bombs disappear from your inventory if you logout. You'll need to abandon and retake the quest if you logout and log back in.

Those leggings are the same as the ones on the preq. for this quest so if you choose them for the preq. Choose the plate armor for the money (Unless you plan on using one of the other rewards)

Really fun really easy quest, just right click on the bomb and click on the towers. It will make two passes by each tower before heading back.

Talk to the Wing Commander next to the quest giver to fly away, don't trust the coords above they are the right locations but you can't use the bombs from the ground.

С квестом выдают бомбы. Что бы выполнить его, говорим с НПС слева от выдавшего квест который сажает нас на грифона и мы летим бомбить цели, т.е. квестовые башни, попасть не сложно мне удалось с первого раза ;) После сдачи квеста получаем награду и продолжение квеста. Снова обращаемся к НПС слева и летим к заданной точке

Sorry if I bump this one, but I can't get this quest done:

I take the flight with the gryphon, right click the bomb in my bag to have the targeting circle displayed, but when i left click on the tower to drop the bomb it says: "you have no target"...what I'm doing wrong here?

Easiest 12600xp in the game. The target and the target reticle are huge, and you don't even have to hit the portal dead on.

Left click is correct, assuming of course that you aren't a complete noob and have already put it on a hotbar somewhere...

This is a part of a 12 quest chain which you can start by talking to Force Commander Danath Trollbane in Honor Hold. Here is the whole chain.

I have to agree with WhiteWalls. DO NOT....I repeat DO NOT try to do this on the ground. I was in the process of placing my first bomb when 4 lvl ? Elites stepped out of the portal and said "Hello" to me! It was kinda scary but very funny how they all chased me down and took me out with one swipe!

Quite possibly the easiest 12600xp you will ever earn. It's a nice deviation from the usual "go here, kill x amount" quests.

This quest just doesn't work for me... I tried many times but the green towers just won't blow up!
I've hit one of the towers but nothing happened. Is there a specific request I'm not following?

Just don't try to use your own mount... I got stuck not being able to drop bombs since I accepted the quest while on my own flying mount.

Unfortunately you can't use your own griffin. You MUST talk to Wing Commander Dabir'ee and do the mission using his griffin.

Ok guys, I feel pretty stupid. I spent almost a full hour trying to figure out this quest and after properly reading the objectives, I now know why I'm a total idiot. To do this quest, you are supposed to use the Gryphon but what I didn't know is that there was a special type of gryphon to do it. Here is me, getting the gryphon at Honor Hold and trying to blow up the gateways by flying to the Portal. THIS DOESN'T WORK! Don't be me, get the gryphon right next to the quest giver or you will have no hair left and we need hair.

If you're in a party with another person, you can get credit if they drop the bombs. My boyfriend and I did this tonight and he got credit when I did it. He did take the griffin, so I don't know if that makes a difference.

This is one of those quests that causes major difficulty for people who don't bother to read quests before or after receiving them.

I'm throwing bombs on these portals and they're standing in fire right now but I haven't "destroyed" them!
So I don't understand what I'm doing wrong but I can't do the quest now.. :(
(I don't have an own gryphon yet :s)

This is actually a simple quest to complete tbh..Just go to the questgiver Forward Commander Kingston next to him is a guy called Wing Commander Dabir'ee. Talk to this guy and he will send you on a gryphon then you should bomb those Dark Portal easily.

I completed this quest about a month ago, and it is marked as complete in my quest log, but did not turn it in immediately. Been busy with other characters on other servers. When I come back to turn it in, the question mark above Forward Commander Kingston is greyed out. So what gives here?

You are not able to mount the gryphon if your are in Shadowform, as it says: Unable to mount now, you are busy (or something like that)

It can also be done on a flying mount
as I have done with my golden gryphon

It is also easier as u can hover and get the trow more accurately

My original question remains unanswered. Please read it again slowly. For clarification: I did the quest, flew on the mount, and completed it. For some reason I am not allowed to turn it in. For further clarification, my character is a DK. And no, Shadowform was not cast on him. Why can I not turn in my quest after having COMPLETED it?

So i did the bombing run and everything but when i try to turn the quest in i cant because the bombs are "missing" . Any ideas?

PLEASE READ THE WHOLE THING BEFORE FLAGGING!

Alright for those of you that cant turn the quest in.... ABANDON IT! Then go to Kingston and pick it up again, i was very reluctant cause i was scared i wouldnt be able to do it but restarted the whole quest and i completed it! Huzzah!

Just a quick heads up for all the Worgen out there...

You must be out of the Running Wild form when talking to Dabir'ee or he won't put you on the gryphon. I only mention it because Running Wild isn't as obvious as sitting on a horse so for about a minute I thought something was bugged. Just need to "dismount" (stand upright). :P

The guy to give you the gryphon ride should still be there. He's Wing Commander Dabir'ee, he's a human.Just don't be mounted or wild running if your a worgen when you click on him to send you flying. Oh yes, the portals won't be shining like with other quests, your mouse will indicate the name of the portals though. They look just like the portals in the other quest you just did with Disrupt their Reinforcements, but a bit bigger. When your mouse highlights them, quickly go over to your bomb, click on it and toss the bomb when the green circle is over the portal.

Did the quest and went afk for a 20 minutes while still in air without turning in the quest. When I get back after the 20 minute break I am standing there on the ground but the bombs disappeared so I'm going to have to redo the quest.

Just a heads up, turn it in asap when done with it :)

Talk to Wing Commander Dabir'ee (male human / he is standing at the far left of the camp) to ride on to the Armored Gryphon Destroyer so you can destroy gates by throwing bombs while you are flying.

• Accept Mission: The Murketh and Shaadraz Gateways from Forward Commander Kingston at coords 71.2, 62.6 (Expedition Point).
• Speak with Wing Commander Dabir'ee (coords: 71.4, 62.4) and select, "I'm on a bombing mission…"
• Use your Seaforium PU-36 Explosive Nether Modulator on Gateway Murketh and Gateway Shaadraz to destroy them. These Portals are along the edges of the Path of Glory.
• After you land, turn in the quest to Forward Commander Kingston (coords: 71.2, 62.6).

If you are a druid be sure to remove any form before take the gryphon or you will be unable to drop the bombs

If you are a Druid, make sure you are not shape-shifted into travel, cat, bear etc form. Whilst you may appear non-shape-shifted on the gryphon, you are likely marked as shifted and the bombs simply will not work!

Speak with Wing Commander Dabir'ee, bomb Gateway Murketh and Gateway Shaadraz and then return to Forward Commander Kingston at Expedition Point.

Description

Just west of the Dark Portal are two huge transporters: Gateway Murketh and Gateway Shaadraz.

If you look east up the Path of Glory, you'll see them on either side of the road. I want you to bomb them both into rubble!

Here are the bombs you'll use, specially designed by a goblin in Area 52. Now, speak with Wing Commander Dabir'ee -- he'll put you on a gryphon and send you on your way.
