Cho Cho is deep inside the cave at the compound located north of where the quests originated, and the yeti is located in the same area of the cave

The button (spinning gears) to release the NPC is well above his head.

He gives you a lift back up to the quest reward NPC ;)

Instead of giving useless information, the key is dropped by one of the mobs in that area. You have to keep killing them until one of them drops the key. I would suggest you finish all the quests in that area before you free Cho Cho because he will send you back to the quest giver.

The Key drops off Cho Cho the Wicked who is walking back and forth in front of the Yeti so you don't have to fight random mobs until the key drops.

Once you have the key the gears to release the yeti are above his head. After he is free he will give you a ride back to the Waystation.

as you get carried out by the yeti, he smashes through any hozen, entire groups of them at times. Who all explode into giblets.

Probably one of the goriest quests by wow standards.

The graphics for when he carries you out is odd. I couldn't tell if my toon was hanging from his belly, IN his belly, or what.

Hozen Treasure Chest in the little alcove at (49.4,59.4) behind the yeti gave me a little more than 99 gold :)

You have to go deep into the cave, kill the Keymaster and unleash the Yeti. You will then go on a wild and fun Yeti-Ride and smash everything in your way, blazing a trail of blood and guts....absolutely love this quest.

This has been probably the most hilarious quest ever to myself and my wife. My pet name for my wife is "Little Poot Poot." To then see that my wife is unintentionally in game as "Old Poot Poot" and is basically a massive, horned Yeti was delightful. I showed this to her and she immediately took a picture with her phone and asked me for a screenshot to share - she's very happy with it, too.

That I then rode "Old Poot Poot" out of a cave on a wave of destruction was just icing. Good job, Blizzard. Well done.

The gears didn't show up above his head for me. (the comments saying so are from 2012, so this was maybe updated since) They were on top of the shackle ball. So i just right clicked around the shackle ball about 10 times before it exploded and got a free ride back to turn the quest in. Hope this helps someone!

I was having trouble getting the key to work when clicking on the ball. The clickable area is not where the gears appear, which is above the ball.

If you stand between the baskets to the left of Old Poot Poot and mouse over the ball's left outer edge, you'll find the clickable area between 7 and 11 o'clock.

Bind a key to "Interact with Target" and click it when you're close to the iron ball.

Description

The hozen have a yeti! They call it Old Poot Poot and keep it at the back of their cave.

Hozen are normally scared of yeti, but now they feed it grummles.

They have a Hunter Chief, Cho Cho the Wicked. Can you see if he has a key on him to the yeti shackles?

Bad fortune for hozen if a yeti is loose in their fort.
