Yes, Shado-pan questline have such weird prequests :D
Awakened quests have 3 version of quests each starting from NPC that gave you previous quests.
Ordo Warbringer have quest that starts via pop-up after Channelers and backup from Taylor/Nazgrim if you abandon first.

Horde Version

Simply follow the road west, you will pass Farmhand Bo, and then meet Elder Tsulan by the crossroads. The enourmus quest icons on the world map set me off track a bit, but simply follow the road, you can't miss them.

Admiral Taylor mentions "surviving the destruction of the Jade Serpent," but I haven't seen nor heard of such a thing. It's a bit odd how quests assume you've done other quests first that are not pre-requisites.

I'm not sure what that weird diagram is supposed to mean but what I found is you have to do

1. Hit Medicine
2. All of the Arrows
3. Call Out Their Leader

To get "Admiral Taylor has Awakened"

That thing looks like all you have to do is "all the arrows"

For those Alliance players here looking for the Westwind candy bucket during Hallow's End, here is the quick and dirty:

* Start by picking up The Road to Kun-Lai near the Grassy Cline flight point in Valley of the Four Winds . Speak to Highroad Grummle.
* Go up the path (also grab the candy bucket from Tavern in the Mists) and speak to Brewmaster Boof
* Pick up the quest The Spring Drifter and ride the boat thru to Binan Village.
* Turn in quests. Pick up and complete Hit Medicine, All of the Arrows, and Call Out Their Leader.
* Pick up and complete Admiral Taylor has Awakened
* Pick up and complete Westwind Rest
* Pick up and complete Challenge Accepted
* After the cutscene, you can access your candy bucket.

Hi all

On This Achievement Tricks and Treats of Pandaria you need to finish quests with Candy Bucket in 22 locations. All of them You can find in main Vilages/Cities in Northrend Zones. To get to Pandoria use Teleport in Stormwind in Wizard's Sanctum "Portal to Jade Forest" 45.5 87.4.

As of 10/28/2022, this quest still bugs to where the quest-giver will disappear, preventing access to turning in; or picking up after abandoning, the next quest (a challenge awaits). If you are doing this questline for the Candy Buckets, i highly suggest making a quick horde toon and doing essentially the same 6'ish quest for Eastwind Rest, which is outside of the area causing this bug to take place. Blizzard as of minutes ago from a Support Ticket, has no representative solution other than sending you multiple links to both wowhead, and icyveins, as well as stating the obvious tactics of Re-logging, Leaving the area and returning, or attempting another character. ie turn it off and on again, which does not fix the issue. this was after attempting the quest on 3 seperate alliance, one at lvl 60, one at 48, and one at 23. The lower 2, should not of had any interference from the BFA questlines as Zidormi is not an available npc to characters below lvl 50, as well as no Nzoth npcs being present/available in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. So to repeat, if its just for a candy buckets achievement, if it bugs on you, when in doubt, just make a quick horde to knock it out.

Description

<Admiral Taylor winces in pain.> Jade Forest was a disaster. Anduin's gone. We lost some good people. We didn't stop the Horde from advancing into the continent. But I think I've found a way to get the locals on our side. You just helped fight off some of these "yaungol", no? I hear yaungol sacked Westwind Rest, a local village. We've been told that two groups of survivors have camped out along the road west out of town. We help them out, maybe they'll consider siding with the Allliance.
