As in beta build 15662, this quest cannot be completed.
At least I have tried complete it 20 times, and a few times I had someone controlling that no one else tried to start the quest while I was on it, still failed.

If you know how to complete it, or have completed it, pls reply!

With current build of 15699 the quest can be completed.

I just helped a group of grummies that were part way to the camp but it took a few seconds to receive the message that the quest was completed once the grummies made it to the camp.

Just did this today and I didn't get credit about 5 or 6 times. Finally I logged out and right back in again and the next time I did it I got credit.

At the end of the escort you have to be in range of the Trail Yakker when he casts his buff to complete this quest. Not the Trail guide, the Trail Yakker is about the 4 person in line

After about 10 failed attempts, I've finally completed the quest. I think the key to completing the quest is having the Travel Incense buff on you and letting the grummles cast The Burlap Resolve buff. If you got it before but failed to complete the quest, cancel both buffs, abandon the quest, acquire it again, and wait for the next pack to be sure.

Escort them from the town.
Or, run down the road if they already left and see them on the map.

43,68 is where they stop to cast and give you credit.

If you have The Burlap Resolve buff already on you at the end of the escort (either you ran by and got it accidentally or escorted them before you got the quest), you won't get credit for the quest.

It's another bugged quest that doesn't complete without a lot of superstition/luck/urban myth tries. best thing just forget it.

I believe getting on your mount messes this quest up.. I did it several times without success and the last i did not mount and finally got credit.

Cancel any Kun-Lai Summit buff you might have did the trick for me. Still had "Travel Incense" buff from a previous quest and after right-clicking it off I was able to complete this quest.

It seems that in order to complete this quest, you must have the GUIDE survive.

Just a tip, if you see a couple of them in fear and there are no enemies around it probably means that one of them has gone ahead and is being attacked.

Did this today. Taken me about 8 attempts over the past few days figuring out why it wasn't working. Every time I located the group they had just three members and no Yakker or Guide. Dropped them off, flew immediately back. Saved all 5 of them and the Yakker cast the buff while I was stood next to him.

Thank god for that!

my guess is that the important thing is to stop at the crossroads where the convoy does, since that's where they cast the buff that completes the quest. the instinctive thing is to run on ahead to the camp itself, but if you do that, you'll be out of range by the time the spell actually goes off.

You do not need the guide to survive to complete the quest. Just save one of them, at the end of the path (not into the campsite area) they/he will stop. Click on him and you will get the completion of the quest. Do not run ahead and don't be behind him, otherwise it doesn't complete.

if you have cancelled this quest you have to go back to Brother Lintpocket (/way 58 61.4) and have to run the whole trail again.

Was having trouble with this quest. Did several runs and kept failing. Too many of them die near the beginning, including the guide. And for me, I had to make sure the guide was alive for the end of it. As a shadow priest, I just made sure to keep healing him through every fight, and it finally worked.

Ok so this Quest seems to be written in sphagetti code!

If the Grummle are in Fear right at the start, but all are not in combat with any Ho-zen, continue along the road on your own, and kill all the Ho-zen that are there.

If only the first one goes the way, but the other ones stay behind (while not in fear) ignore them, and follow and defend the leader, the rest will follow up when you reach the end.

Another fun fact! When you successfully complete the trail, you will recieve a 15min 2% Versatility buff while in the zone. Thats 2% flat more dmg and 1% less damage taken. You can stack this buff, by accepting and aborting the quest multiple times and when you finnaly complete it, you will recieve the buff multiple times.

I have accepted the quest 7 times in a row, and was awarded with 7 Buffs, (14% dmg and 7% less dmg taken). Pretty sure that this is a bug, but i wonder how far you can stack this!

Protect a group of grummles from the Burlap Waystation to the Kota Basecamp. At least one grummle must survive.

If you lose your grummles, you can search the Burlap Trial or return to the Burlap Waystation and wait for the next group to leave.

Description

This here's hozen lands. Very dangerous. But grummles must trek through. Supplies must reach the Serpent's Spine.

Go, protect the next wave of grummles on their trek to Kota Basecamp.

If at least one survives, good fortune will find its way to you.
