This guide assumes you are at least lvl100 with 大师级骑术.

It is better if you are in a Guild with at least 7 other players, or you may be in a larger one that already has the Achievements.

Check your Reputation, you may have gone a long way with some of the Factions already on other characters.

Empty your bags, all this content is easy and you are going to collect a ton of stuff.

The absolute best character you could choose would be:
法师 for 传送：托尔巴拉德 and access to 传奇的邀请 / 传奇的邀请

With 工程学, 炼金术 or 采矿 and 考古学 at 525 or above

Set your 炉石 in Stormwind or Orgrimmar

Take the portal through to 托尔巴拉德半岛 and start doing the Dailies there. Do not forget you can also do Dailies in 托尔巴拉德 if your Faction won the last PVP battle.

If you haven't already done so start the Vashj'ir Questline with 私人召唤 / 私人召唤. After an amusing cut scene you will arrive in 柯尔普萨之森, keep doing quests until you get to 深渊坐骑 and are rewarded with 瓦丝琪尔海马. It wouldn't hurt to do a quick pass over 烁光海床 while in the vicinity to see if you can find Poseidus who drops 波塞冬斯的缰绳.

Start the 海加尔山 Quest Series with 英雄的召唤：海加尔山！ / 大酋长的命令：海加尔山！. You will need to progress quite far along to get to 砸蛋 which rewards either 蓝色小矛骑兵 or 金色小矛骑兵. Don't be too worried about your choice as you can get the other one by completing “无敌”翼手龙？战斗力只有5。 (or have an alt complete 砸蛋 and choose the one you didn't).

Keep progressing through the series until you reach 寻求增援, do a few Dailies and you can get into The Molten Front

Now that you have unlocked The Molten Front you should do the Dailies available to you and then 炉石 back.

Check to see if you can do more 托尔巴拉德 Dailies.

Start your 拉穆卡恒 grind by picking up 与商队碰面 / 与商队碰面 and taking the long journey to Adarrah in 塔纳利斯. After a few cut scenes and some starting quests you will phase into the zone proper which will open the portal to it from your Capital City. Do a few more quests and you should be Friendly and can buy 拉穆卡恒战袍 from Blacksmith Abasi, you are going to wear this Tabard in all your Dungeon runs.

Whilst you are in the neighborhood you should do your first 旋云之巅 run. Altarius has a chance to drop 北风幼龙缰绳. Whenever you travel from Ramakhen you should keep an eye out for 神秘的骆驼雕像 which could port you to Dormus the Camel-Hoarder who will drop 灰色骑乘骆驼缰绳

炉石 back.

Time to go Deep into 深岩之洲, so visit Naraat the Earthspeaker / Farseer Krogar and after a dizzying cut scene you will end up in what I think is one of the more unique and pretty WOW Zones. You will need to do around 30 quests before encountering 塞拉赞恩 and need to keep going until you finish 石之王座 and the Dailies open up (as well as a handy portal to get to them). You now have the means of obtaining 佩波 from 石头爱好者 and 迷你页岩蛛 which is easiest to get when you have 地下经济. Do not forget to keep an eye out for Aeonaxx in the hope of getting 磷光石幼龙缰绳

Whilst you are down below you may as well do your first 巨石之核 run in the hope Slabhide drops 琉璃石幼龙缰绳. You can do it on Normal multiple times until you hit your instance per hour limit.

考古学

Dwarven Sites are generally going to be a little North and out of your way, but can lead you to 发条侏儒

Fossil Sites can be all over and can contain 化石迅猛龙, 化石幼兽, and 翼手龙宝宝

Troll Sites are also fairly common and hide 巫毒雕像. You will see a lot of the latter two if you are heading down to 祖尔格拉布 regularly.

Finally we have the Tol'vir Sites at lvl450, which are only in 奥丹姆, another incentive to spend some time here in the forms of 阿兹亚基节杖 and 蠕行之爪, as well as 坎努匹克陶罐 which is needed for 时沙之瓶.

Do your 托尔巴拉德半岛 and 托尔巴拉德 Dailies and portal back

Do your The Molten Front Dailies and 炉石 back.

Portal through to 深岩之洲, check if you have either 迷失在深渊中 or 地下经济, do your 巨石之核 run(s) and don't forget about Aeonaxx

Pick up 赞达拉代表 / 赞达拉的威胁 and head down to 北荆棘谷 to start the chain the culminates in 善心之举/ 善心之举 and your own orphaned 猎豹幼崽

Grab 劣质药品 / 保卫格罗姆高：迅猛龙危机 and follow the chain along until the vision/mind control ones are completed

Head into 祖尔格拉布, defeat Bloodlord Mandokir and you can be reunited with your 鞭尾幼龙 (and he may even drop an 装甲拉扎什迅猛龙)

You may as well defeat High Priestess Kilnara to see if she will drop a 迅捷祖利安黑豹

炉石 back

Make sure you have some 阿曼尼妖术之杖, head into 幽魂之地 and then 祖阿曼

Ring the Gong, do a speed run and get your 阿曼尼斗熊, go back and un-hex frogs until 魔汁 jumps in your pocket

For Alliance this chain starts with the quest 劣质药品 given by Brother Nimetz at the Rebel Camp.
Upon completion of 劣质药品 you will automatically obtain the quest 刚刚孵化 and the 破碎的鞭尾迅猛龙蛋. Return to Corporal Sethman at the Rebel Camp with the new hatchling.
He will then send you on the quest 我想她饿了 to feed the baby raptor some basilisk meat. Make sure you have the hatchling summoned while killing basilisks so she may take bites from the corpses as you kill them.
Next you must do 库尔森的命运 given by Lieutenant Doren in the Rebel Camp. Continue on his chain and do 逃离疯狂 next.
Now take the hatchling to the Bal'lal Ruins @ 33.7, 37.2 where you will find a pile of skulls on the ground. Your hatchling will run up to the pile and grab a skull from it. Now he will give you the quest 心爱的颅骨. Return to Osborn Obnoticus at the Rebel Camp (This is the NPC that you must have logged out then back in to see according to some Alliance players).
Osborn Obnoticus will then give you 就是干这个的鼻子 to start trying to figure out who that skull belonged to.
After that do the next quest in the chain, 物理标本.
After completing the above quest line, Bloodlord Mandokir will spawn and offer a "quest" of the same name. He really just wants to steal the raptor from you because it's special. Do not chase him when he runs off. There is more to do, you must now embark on a chain to try and save your new raptor friend from her fate.
Osborn Obnoticus will give you a quest to go talk to Priestess Thaalia at Fort Livingston.
She will lead you on a chain to try and save your new raptor hatchling friend from her terrible fate of becoming the Bloodlord's new raptor slave. This is all your fault! But maybe you can do something about it...

After that really cool and fun quest chain from the Priestess you are ready to enter the 85 Heroic Dungeon of 祖尔格拉布 and face the Bloodlord Mandokir. It's time to undo the mistake you made by bringing him back to life, and you must save your new friend from a world of torture and evil. Once the Bloodlord falls at your hands, you will see 老朋友.

The Horde Chain is almost identical, but make sure you grab the opening quest before you head down to Grom'gol.

Now go to 祖尔格拉布 and get your baby back!!!

You are probably close to 熔火前线的老兵 and

And eventually you'll get from running 火焰之地 chasing 巨龙之怒，泰蕾苟萨的寄魂杖 and the 'zor' mounts

Why not kill 奥妮克希亚 and 死亡之翼 in one trip? You are working on 唤醒幼龙 and 翡翠幼龙的缰绳 whether you realised it or not

Alliance players are very close to 黑石山 and the 缰绳来袭 Raids, and can finish off in 安其拉 after an 奥丹姆 visit

达拉然炉石 then the Karazhan portal is faster than 协同披风 then the 诅咒之地 portal when heading to 祖尔格拉布, get 炽热战马的缰绳 to go along with your drakes.

The Cataclysm zones have some of the densest populations of Wild Pets in Azeroth, gotta catch them all!

And don't forget you can get all the Achievements, Tabard Reputation, and drops during the 时空漫游地下城活动

Check the PVP tab to see when the next battle will begin

Arrive in 托尔巴拉德 at least 20 minutes before the next battle (as the zone closes 15 minutes before it starts)

Do the 托尔巴拉德 Dailies, then go do the 托尔巴拉德半岛 ones during the lock out, do a Pet Battle or something while you wait

Participate in the PVP, then do the "new" set of Dailies if they appear (assuming you win)

I started in Cataclysm, and The Molten Front was my first big grind, inspiring me to start writing guides.

But didn't get my 灼烧石 until much later...

I bought 波塞冬斯的缰绳 for 40k on the auction House!

Found it much easier to get my 火山石幼龙缰绳 at lvl90, was lucky that most of the achieves I had left were all soloable

Worked with my Guild to get 东风幼龙缰绳 and got 暗色凤凰缰绳 as an added bonus

火焰之地 and 巨龙之魂 have not been kind to me, yielding none of the drops after dozens of tries. 炽炎幼龙的缰绳 is all I need for 唤醒幼龙!

佩波 took MUCH longer than I expected, but 玉牙页岩蛛 was taken out a long time ago now

Used two alts to get those Jousters

Both my Lashtail and Panther were easily obtained

I've finished with 托尔巴拉德 , went back to buy the 幼狐 after it refused to drop and even bought a 巴拉丁典狱官战袍

I am down to my final wind drake drop in 阿尔泰鲁斯, 岩皮 took 96 kills and 奥拉基尔 was surprisingly quick with only 8

血领主曼多基尔 gave me the pet but refuses to give me the mount, 高阶祭司基尔娜拉 is similarly stubborn...

I quite literally gasped when I saw this guide. I don't play WoW anymore, as collecting mounts/pets was my main joy (I'd reread your Outland and Northrend guides for fun and to get me in the mood of collecting) and Legion pretty much destroyed my main's play style, so running raids wasn't fun anymore.
That being said, I knew that when (if?) you'd post the Cata guide, I'd be ready to hop right back in. So I've been checking every few months for a new guide since you had Outland out and, lo and behold! A new guide! I'm so excited. :D You did a great job compiling all the info, and I can't wait for the MoP guide. I ended up getting most of the raid and dungeon achievements while soloing in WoD, with only help from one or two guildies for a few of the more frustrating ones, so it's definitely easy-peasy in Legion. That being said, Tol Barad is a damn nightmare and I'd rather joust for a thousand years than run one more daily :( I've got pretty much everything but the stuff from Tol Barad. It haunts my soul.

Rambling aside, so glad to see another guide from you! This is as excellent as your previous ones and it'll be a useful bookmark for any mount/pet collector. :)

Hey man, I really love your guides they've helped me get more mounts than I could've got on my own. I hope it's not too inappropriate to ask but I was just wondering if you have an estimate for when the "season in the mists" guide comes out? It's something that I'm really looking forward to but I do understand that you're busy and it's probably not a top priority. Estimate or no estimate, thank you so much for writing these guides! They help soo much.
