I don't want to be DK anymore :(
Yeah, all these sets are blah. Think its time Blizz goes back and looks at the sets from BC.
I know they wanted to push out content faster....but at spend a little time making the gear look appropriate for the class....these, in my opinion, are just laughable.
Being a Hunter looking at the set, I wanna cry...
Praise the old gods for transmog. The hunter set is the worst I've ever seen in this game.
I feel like the only person that actually likes the new tiers looks :P
This is why I am grateful transmog exist and that we can hide certain pieces. However, NOT all of the designs are bad!
Another patch, another horrible looking tier set.
I don't understand all the hate. I think a lot of them look really good (aside from the hunter and warlock). I guess its all opinion based though.
Sooo...DK - Horned Cyclopes (basically tells you in the name of the armour. Not the worse one they've had.Druid - Colour sceme for the LFR and NM/HC set is a bit suspect and that helm (least you can hide it) looks a lil out of place but bareable.Hunter - Oh dear.... Well I think we've got the people who designed the Murloc armour on this one! Ugh...Mage - Little drab and boring really. Not terrible but could do better.Monk - Stole some priest armour and the rogues mask and added a monk belt and some seriously bright lights for the shoulders.Paladins - Pretty smart actually! Would prefer not to be in a dress but probably the best armour of this tier!Priest - Having had their armour stolen by the Monks descided to steal something that wouldn't look out of place on a Druid (bird helm and shoulders).Rogue - Warrior hand-me-downs...Shaman - Not the most inspired armour set. Again rather drab and boring but with spinny shoulders.Warlock - Not bad, could have done something with the lower torso instead of plain but its passable.Warrior - MY GOD! MY POOR BURNT RETINAS!
I like most of these sets (taken to considertation they dont look entirely finished), and for those of you who think it looks "to horrible to wear", just trans it to you're previous awzm looking set then. Dont really see the problem.
i'm an hunter... not a sub :(
After seeing the Death Knight gear, Im so happy transmog happened. Tier 10 DK gear is STILL the best looking...
Some of these aren't bad, but Blizz missed the boat with this x-pac. No single content patch has had a more direct and visible link to a particular culture on earth as this has. Instead of using whatever shreds of imagination space they had left to create the most over-elaborated, top-heavy, glow-heavy, abominations, they could have used simplicity (major bonus to those on slower comps, ahem) and let art imitate life. To wit:Death Knights, Paladins, Warriors - Oni or Monkey demons, most anything from southeast-Asian temple architecture, Terracotta Warrior-esque, or Samurai designs.Hunters and Shaman - Again, the Terracotta designs, Indian or Arabian style chain swathing. (these, I think, are the least represented in actual human cultures)Druids, Monks, Rogues - Shaolin monks, buddhist monks, ninja. (They did a little of this with the PvP heads, but I don't consider Big Trouble in Little China hats to be the best known exemplars)Priest, Mage, Warlock - The HOST of Chinese, Japanese, etc, examples of imperial tailoring available in ancient manuscripts and modern popular culture are literally too numerous to count. Just watch Hero and you've got enough for one entire xpac.Weaponry The Katana, the Sai, chinese straight- and broad-swords. Monks staves, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, those cool lotus shaped maces from SE-Asia, the myriad forms of katar from India and central-Asia. Heck, your new Diablo class uses flails. Why not add seven-section staves and morning-star type flails. Heck, there's even the cool circle frisbee weapons from India as well.I haven't had a single piece of armor or armament for any of my characters in this expansion that I haven't wanted to transmog to something form BC or LK. Not one.Devs - I want a good game from you. I don't expect you to be magical 'original idea generating machines'. Art has imitated life successfully for centuries; it still does. Pandaria was obviously made after an Asian cultural scheme. We, the gamers, will not hate you if you do simple, attractive designs with an evident link to the cultures we know. We might even thank you.
only love for the priest this time it looks sweet
Its hard to tell because they're always displayed on female humans, but I bet the DK gear is gonna look sweet on my Tauren :)
Never been so glad for transmog before!
Omg, the hunters have gone cyclops-y mode. And the rogues now have the jaw of Deathwing...
Exactly. It's the first shaman set i'm legitimately dissapointed in.Hunter is god awful.Priest is @#$% too!
