Yeah, I definitely noticed I was in a different frame of mind when reviewing vanilla/BC gear than I was going over Wrath/Cata tier. It was like fun nostalgia vs boredom.
Plus the Wrath stuff and the Cata stuff is just plain fugly as sin lol.
They got into a kind of predictable pattern with the Wrath gear... everything was angular and carved out of stone and Nordic looking. Back in the vanilla days they sort of took gear in every which direction, so you had great variation.BC stuff... well, it's great if you're a fan of neon green ;D
I think the guide needs to clarify if you have to actually own an armor look before you can transmogrifying armor in to that look, because at the moment it doesnt state whether everyone (of the same classs) gets the same list or its restricted somehow by what you already own, level or by raid progress.
They added the Brutal Gladiator's Dreadplate about a year ago and it still doesn't show up in the list of death knight sets on wowhead nor did it make into this guide. Alterac at level 70 on a DK with this set and you feel like a god.
Any way I can get my back ? I am so upset I deleted those now due to lack of space =(. I want to be a rogue in a skirt again
squeeeeeeeeee!perculia, they don't pay you enough over there at Wowhead. This is an excellent guide!
I got a question :P some response is appreciated ^^it's about the topic "you can't mogrify legendaries"I know it means we can't change the look of legendaries but does it ALSO mean we can't make other items look like legendaries? (my poor shadowmourne :C)
I'm really confused.Do you need to own the tier set or armor to be able to transmogrify your gear to that look? Thanks!
So when you get a new item, some time after transmogrifying one item you have equipped, do you have to transmogrify the upgrade item, or is it automatically trasnmogrified?Like, say I have vicious gladiator's chain gloves and transmogrify them into gloves of the augery, then I get ruthless gladiator's chain gloves, do I have to transmogrify those ones, or is it automatically done?
We don't know, but betting that's a large yes since you are 'mogging the specific piece you have equipped right now.
