His oversized proportions, including a pair of massive arms, allow Kologarn to easily crush any intruders who attempt to reach the inner sanctum.
Loot The loot from the encounter can be found in the , which spawns after Kologarn's death. Overview Kologarn and his two Arms can all be targeted, so the raid can choose what, when and how to kill. Kologarn himself has the most hit points and number of abilities. His Overhead Smashes require an Offtank, as they reduce the armor of the main tank by a big percent, and stack. Focused Eyebeams will need to be avoided by everybody (similarly to the Tribunal of Ages event in Halls of Stone). If there are no players in melee range, Kologarn will quickly wipe the raid with Petrifying Breath. If both of his Arms are dead, he will channel Stone Shout, which is massive raid-wise AoE your group will want to avoid. Kologarn's Right Arm has only one ability, and it is Stone Grip. It grabs 1-3 players and inflicts damage to them, until the Arm is damaged enough to drop them, or until at least one of the players dies. Killing the Arm reduces Kologarn's health by 15%; it also spawns 5 Rubble creatures, that have AoE and should be offtanked and killed quickly; it takes 30 seconds for an Arm to respawn. Kologarn's Left Arm casts Shockwave periodically, which is a raid-wide AoE the healers will just need to heal through. Killing this Arm has the same effect on Kologarn's health, and also spawns 5 Rubbles. Abilities Kologarn (Spell #63346) - Inflicts 2,313 to 2,687 (25 Player: 3,238 to 3,762) Nature damage every 1 second. Two beams will spawn around a player, following by a raid warning. The beams will converge onto the player and start inflicting damage after a few seconds. They will follow their target. (Spell #63356) - Inflicts physical damage and applies stacking (Spell #63355), which reduces the target's armor by 20% for 6 seconds (25 Player: 25% for 45 seconds). (Spell #63573) - Inflicts less Physical damage than the normal one, but still applies stackable (Spell #63355), which reduces the target's armor by 20% for 6 seconds (25 Player: 25% for 45 seconds). Cast if one of Kologarn's Arms is dead. (Spell #64004) - Inflicts 1,084 to 1,216 Physical damage to the entire raid every 1 second. Cast if both of Kologarn's Arms are dead. (Spell #62030) - Inflicts 14,063 to 15,937 (25 Player: 18,750 to 21,250) Nature damage every 1 second, and applies (Spell #62055), which increases damage taken by 20% for 8 seconds. Cast if there are no targets in melee range. (Spell #64290) - Grabs 1 (25 Player: 3) target, incapacitating them and inflicting 2,925 to 3,075 (25 Player: 3,413 to 3,587) Physical damage every 1 second, until they are freed. The Arm can sustain 100,000 (25 Player: 480,000) damage before it releases its target. Death - Killing the Right Arm decreases Kologarn's health by 15% for 30 seconds, until the Arm respawns. It also spawns 5 s, that cast (Spell #63978), which inflicts 5,550 to 6,450 Physical damage to targets within 10 yards of the caster, increasing damage taken by 5% for 10 sec. Rubbles are stunnable. (Spell #63783) - Inflicts 8,788 to 10,212 (25 Player: 13,875 to 16,125) Nature damage to the whole raid. Death - Killing the Right Arm decreases Kologarn's health by 15% for 30 seconds, until the Arm respawns. It also spawns 5 , that cast (Spell #63978), which inflicts 5,550 to 6,450 Physical damage to targets within 10 yards of the caster, increasing damage taken by 5% for 10 sec. Rubbles are stunnable.
