Has completed the Fishing Achievements for the Achievements Points they provided.

Was a bit disgruntled that The Anglers provided no items of interest for raiding, PvPing or gold-making. Has tried to sell the 小金魚 unsuccessfully many times.

Was absolutely ecstatic when Nat Pagle was announced as the Quartermaster for a faction, and spent hours paddling between Fishing Schools on an 釣手隊漁筏. And still does.

Deleted countless Off-Hand heavy fish without thinking on it too much.

Purchasable at Fishing Supplies merchants. This is your mreost faithful friend in times of necessity: when no pole is available, find a merchant and buy one off him. Why not use a wooden stick and a twig, you say? Get some pride, you heathen! Angle or don't, don't dabble in mere fishermanning.

熊貓人釣魚竿
Purchased from Nat Pagle after reaching "Honored" with The Anglers. You'd think after all the damned baited crab pots, the mountains of 虎鉗獵魚蟹的眼睛 and the scavenged 尋寶 they'd give you the thing, eh? Dream on, it's . Comes with a slight discount because you're a friend, but no more.

強化釣魚竿
Purchasable at Fishing Supplies merchants. One of your first joyful moments will be the acquisition of this rubbish, as you contemplate the fact that you are skilled enough to cast a line in a pond. You will then walk by a bloke with an actual fishing pole, which will make or break your determination: will you, or won't you be among the few, the dedicated, the ANGLERS? This is your crucible.

納特‧帕格的極限釣魚竿FC-5000型
Reward from Faction-specific quests: 鉗嘴龜! for the Horde, and 鉗嘴龜，小子! for the Alliance. Given to you as a "Thank you" for ridding an area of crazed turtles, this pole should last you well into your advanced years. Commissioned by Nat Pagle himself in his early Angling days, this is but a leftover. The best is yet to come, but only patience and commitment will get you there.

史塔特的釣魚桿
Reward from a low level Alliance-only quest: 石斑滋味. A few throws are all it takes to realize that 喬納森‧史塔特 failed his crucible. He managed, and Sargeras only knows how he did, to make a 強化釣魚竿 worse than it was. I'm going to bet on some frenetic Worgen inclination to chew on sticks. I otherwise have no explanation. Let me know if you figure it out, will you?

塞斯的鉛石釣魚竿
Reward from an Outlands quest, 當然是釣魚. Considering the age of the boy and his knowledge of seas and oceans and lakes and other watery pools, I think he might've known some fisherman or another before he came through the Dark Portal. Based on what the kid says, he might have had to learn some manual labor back Lakeshire, which could explain the craftsmanship behind this pole. Can't say it would've occurred to me to make a pole out of graphite. Can't even say I knew what graphite was before this pole came up, either.

瑟拉克的釣竿
Lurking in the depths of the very cold and very damp and very dark 黑澗深淵, an Ogre lies in wait... 瑟拉克 expects you, spiked mace in hand, and fillet knife on the hip. Due to his affiliation to the Twilight's Hammer cult you may want to approach him with caution, but I gather a good whack on the head should suffice to knock him cold! Once that's done, all that's left is for you to surreptitiously borrow his fishing rod, and then leave the area. Without attracting any Murloc's attention. Yep. Good luck with that.

納特的幸運釣魚竿
Reward from completing a quest from the self-proclaimed Master himself: 釣魚專家納特‧帕格. The Quest can take a bit of time to complete, but the reward is guaranteed! You'll be running all over Azeroth to catch some probably-random-fish of Nat Pagle's choice. Once that's done, you'll be going back to the depths of Dustwallow Marsh and give him back the fish. Unspoiled and fresh, at that. So fish fast, move fast, and get lucky!

珠寶裝飾釣魚竿
Found in 一袋亮晶晶的東西 and 釣魚藏寶袋, themselves obtained from completing Fishing Daily Quests. Probably co-designed by 瑪西亞‧切斯 and 希莉絲‧芭爾頓, considering how exuberant it is. I can't imagine any self-respecting Angler using the pole. In fact, you know what? Just gift it to that lonely soul you want to wed. Might just be understood as a badge of appreciation. But it's really not. Don't let them know, though.

大師製卡魯耶克釣魚竿
Purchase from Sairuk or Tanaika after reaching "Exalted" with The Kalu'ak. Sole beacon of hope in this world of Anglinglessness, these proud Walrus-like humanoids are among the few beings left to admire. Driven by need and hunger but passionate and understanding, the Kalu'ak are the people I feel all Anglers belong to. Visit them, in Northrend, and learn wisdom from their ways. They have taught me many a thing, the most important of which was "If you wish for a fish, fish for a wish.".

Hm...That might've been from 皮恩奇先生 though...

骨製釣魚竿
Found in 一袋亮晶晶的東西 and 釣魚藏寶袋, themselves obtained from completing Fishing Daily Quests. I recall reading somewhere that Undead had 暗影抗性 as a Racial Ability. I also can't help but notice the Shadow Resistance on this pole... It's also made of bone. Need I say more?

奧金釣魚竿
One of the two exclusive rewards for the First Place winner of the . Every Angler's dream, this pole will not only last forever due to being made out of one of the most durable materials out there, but it's also sturdy enough to bash a 克拉卡農's scales to bits, or to shatter an aggressive Snapjaw Turtle's shell to bits! And every other Angler out there will be jealous of you...that is, unless they have one of their own!

蛟龍釣魚竿
Purchase from Nat Pagle after reaching "Revered" with The Anglers. Carefully crafted and masterfully decorated by Pandaren ~~slaves~~ blacksmiths, this Fishing pole is among the things you can look forward to from this ancient, forgotten continent. It doesn't breathe fire, but it splashes water!

暗木魚竿
Very, very rarely fished from INLAND waters where 生鮮的刺鬚鯰魚 is the main catch: Arathi Highlands, Ashenvale, Duskwood, Hillsbrad Foothills, Northern Stranglethorn, Redridge Mountains, Stonetalon Mountains, Wetlands.

You may be scoffing at the thought that this is rare and valuable, but you just wait until you try to catch it. You...just...wait...

粗鐵魚竿
Found by opening while on a specific Horde-only Quest: 坐享其成. The pole can be traded afterwards, but the rate at which it is found makes this pole quite hard to acquire.

倏忽即逝的魚竿
If you perservere in throwing a million lines in the murky waters of Draenor, wherever you wish, you may be able to find this beauty amidst the heaps and heaps of smelly . You can then, for a limited time of twenty-four hours, feel excessively skilled in your craft. You really aren't, though. The fish just like shinier poles, and this is the shiniest!

動力捕魚竿
On a scale of minnow to whale, how adventurous are you feeling? Do you wake up every morning asking yourself "What miserable adventure could I embark on to risk my life to get a new fishing pole?" Boy, have I got the thing for you to do! Head on over to Mechagon, talk to our glorious Gnomish friend 丹妮爾‧垂釣, learn to make a 百噚誘餌 to call forth a monstrous, fiendish, devilish, dangerous, tremendously spooky, wet, moist, scaly beast: 深水巨喉. 野蠻釣魚竿 / 德萊尼釣魚竿
With Nat's arrival in your garrison (yes, I swear, only yours, no one else's ever before nor after), the time has come to celebrate! In fact, each faction gets access to a little special something of their own. First, however, you must have caught your fair share of Lunkers or, alternatively, have killed your lot of 霜淵穴居者 / 落月穴居魚人 (also faction-dependent) and acquired some fishy coinage. You'll only need to get yourself some twenty-five 納特的幸運幣 to trade in for your faction-specific fishing pole. I'm not one to trust gossip, but I heard that Horde stinks, so I'd probably just try to shoot for the Draenic Fishing Pole myself...

粼光釣竿
After years of being ignored and demeaned by other citizens of Azeroth who turned their nose when our fish-smelling overalls bothered their sensitivities, disregarding the fact that we were they who provided the sustenance required for their adventures, at last we have been gifted redemption: a pole to rival the legends of old, 灰燼使者, 末日錘 and 薩格拉斯權杖. Acquiring this artifact is an extremely arduous process that begins in the cradle: one must first be the recipient of a most unique vision.

In said vision, 納特‧帕格 is said to stand on the inner shores of 祖爾格拉布, waiting for the inevitable awakening of 加茲蘭卡. You, in the vision, will be but an observer. As the hydra emerges from the depths of the fateful dungeon, Nat Pagle uncorks a most potent beverage, his famed lager, and, with a heavy gulp, turns to the beast, screaming, "I can wait and fish all day!". Dismayed by the taunt, the hydra roars. Smiling confidently, our master and savior bursts forward, wielding none other than 納特‧帕格的魚類終結者, and, with a twist of the wrist, and in a single whack, puts down the beast.

Nobody quite knows how much fish exactly the Bot can collect, but I wouldn't want to be the one cleaning its tank after the contest. Nope, I wouldn't.

納特‧帕格的極限釣魚靴
Fish out a 布隆奈爾藍斑魚 from a School of 斑點可口魚 during the and turn it in to 釣魚機器人5000型.
After careful examination and content analysis by one of my fellow Gnomes, I learned that the boots' soles were made out of the collected fish's skin. This explains the peculiar, inadvertent slip-ups and slides...

抗惡劣天候釣魚帽
- Found in 一袋亮晶晶的東西 and 釣魚藏寶袋, themselves obtained from completing Fishing Daily Quests.
Once you've obtained the hat, you'll probably realize that its name was chosen well: it's ugly, it's torn apart, and it has a smell you'll never, ever quite be able to pinpoint. They purposely don't mention to whom it belonged, that much I'm sure, for fear we wouldn't take it. Clever, clever quest givers.

The teleport effect makes for easy visits to that tavern, and I don't think I need to explain to you why that would be interesting, what with all the flowing mead and lager! Did I mention proximity to Duskwood, and thus the 食腐蟲? GLORY!

暗月釣魚帽
Very rare catch from the open waters around 暗月島.
This helmet's effect is fairly straightforward: it amasses nearby garbage in a tiny area, and you can fish that garbage OUT of the water and into the consumer's hands! Environmentally and ecologically sound, the Darkmoon Faire has practical solutions to counterpoint its need to waste away tons of crates and metal scraps for the sake of our entertainment! It only accounts for 1% of the total pollution, but we'll get there eventually. Cast away!

釣技便鞋 / 釣技足靴 / 釣技涉水長靴 / 釣技踏靴
Have you met a person so distinguished as Nat Pagle before? I hadn't, I must say... Well, that is until I met 亞特‧休伊. Located on the docks of eastern 佐司瓦, he's looking for your help. He seeks revenge against the most abominable of abominations: a cowardly _bait thief_. Slay the thief, and one of these pairs of boots is yours. That's a good deal, innit?

納特之帽
Purchase from Nat Pagle after becoming Best Friends with Nat Pagle. You do so by turning in your daily load of 擬色章魚, 棘魚首領 and 飛天虎斑絲足魚! Considering the amount of people I've seen walking around with the thing, and based on the seemingly increasing amount of bugs in my vicinity after I equip it, I think they meant to call it "Gnat's Hat". It certainly isn't unique, and you'd be silly to believe it belonged to Nat himself. Let's be real, here. At least you won't have to carry anymore lures with the amount of bugs it seems to attract; fish are drawn to the surface immediately, whether you want them or not.

觸手帽
As a result of throwing too many Angler-restricted gatherings Nat Pagle has had to come up with a plethora of flavorful party hats! Sometimes, the damned man goes a bit...overboard. Literally. And that gives him ideas.
This is one such idea. After getting ahold of some of the newer Draenic specimens, he commissioned Marcia Chase to come up with an ergonomic and comfortable head-octopus. Since Angler parties tend to get a little slippery and uncontrollable, some have accidentally even lost their hat! And like any living octopus should, the damned thing just swam away. You may be able to find one of these, once in a while, in the Frostfire Ridge or the Nagrand Hallvalor waters. If you do, cherish it: these species tend to have very short lives outside of their natural habitat... Then again, most would get tired of having an octopus on their head after a week.

But maybe that's your thing. No judgment.

魚之帽
Much like the genius idea that was the 觸手帽, this is also inspired by Nat Pagle's. This one is a lot more stable. For those of us who prefer more modest fish-made hats, this is arguably the best alternative to the aggravatingly twitchy and wibbly-wobbly octopus. Much like the latter however, the Hightfish has a short life span outside of its waters: one week at best. Of constant exposure to the air, of course, but one week nonetheless. If anything could be qualified as such, this would be, in my humble opinion..."The Crown of Anglers"!

Wear it with pride... if you find it! Where, you ask?

Nagrand, outside of Hallvalor. One hat per area. Nagrand is quite the Angler congregation hub, hm?

納特的喝酒帽
As you already know, our Angling Lord (all praise Him) 納特‧帕格 likes to peddle sketchy, smelly wares to unsuspecting buyers for outrageous prices. First, he tried to get us to buy his stinking 納特之帽, and now THIS!? This is outrageous! And, believe it or not, he wants US to fish out some Lunkers for HIM in return for HIS 納特的幸運幣 so we can buy HIS 納特的喝酒帽 from HIM! What is this madness!? LET'S PUT A STOP TO THIS, ONCE AND FOR ALL...

Let's buy it for 25 coins, and never deal with the man again.

強化魚線
Found by opening 斯特登的困擾, a rare catch in Stendel's Pond, in Westfall. It's probably a better line than the one that came on your initial pole, but...not by much. At all.

釣魚
The Formula can be looted from various Murlocs in Hillsbrad Foothills; the easiest way to get this would be to find a friendly Enchanter and bring him the materials! Preferably one who went out of his way to commit a Murloc genocide, since the Formula is so rare!

旋紡真銀魚線
Found rarely when opening 釣魚藏寶袋, itself obtained by completing Outlands Fishing Daily Quests. This lightly-threaded Truesilver filament gives off a light blue tinge, attracting fish more readily than your typical, bland line.

釣手
The Formula can be found on some Indu'le NPCs in Dragonblight. Much like its lower level counterpart, this would be more easily obtainable by finding an Enchanter and bringing him the materials! If you decide to grind the Formula out, don't feel too bad for the dead Tuskarr, they were insane anyway... but I warn you: prepare for some lengthy time spent amassing 玻鰭小鯉 for the 以太之油, though. These slippery little fiends! If you're on a generous streak, consider gathering more than you need and selling them for cheap! Other Anglers will be thankful!

高強度恆金魚線
- Found rarely when opening 釣魚藏寶袋, itself obtained by completing Northrend Fishing Daily Quests.
- Fish out a 迪森皇后魚 from a School of 斑點可口魚 during the and turn it in to 釣魚機器人5000型.
- One of multiple reward choices for the First and Second Place winners of the ; coming in Third Place grants you one automatically.

茹克的幸運釣魚線
If you've visited Cenarion Refuge in the shroomy land of Zangarmarsh, you probably had a staring contest with a stubborn raven named 魯克. Having gone back through time to figure out where his legendary patience stemmed from, I stumbled upon 茹克的釣餌箱, in the older Nagrand. If you told me you couldn't be bothered striving for excellence I'd not blame you, but you'd have to beat me in a staring contest first. Or Rook. But I lose patience faster than Rook.
Or do I?

古老釣線
On the demon-infested lands of Argus lie peculiar truths you may unearth as you journey ever further. One of these truths goes as follows: some demons are quite decent at Fishing, despite outwards appearances. One would think that they who feast on fel energy would not care for fish, but Angling is universal indeed. And so you may slay 『末裔』斯里頌 in Mac'Aree and, from his dessicated corpse, loot this most glorious thread filament. Attach it to your most prized Pole, and never look back.

拖船浮標
An ephemeral version of 一箱浮標：拖船, this can be found in the often-used-as-a-trash-can waters of Darkmoon Faire. We can presume they are but toys dropped from children flying above the island seated on incredibly safe rockets!

魚人浮標
While 咒術師瑪苟斯 is willing to sell to you an infinitely usable crate of Murloc heads, he also deals in smaller amounts. In exchange for 25 沉沒法力, you may get yourself a quintet of Murloc heads to waste away. I recommend against using them, but the choice is yours.

黃色小鴨浮標
Quack quack! Quack. Wack quack! What? Quack! Quick, quack! Quack quack, 25 沉沒法力, quack 咒術師瑪苟斯.

一箱浮標：黃色小鴨
Aaah, down memory lane you go. Do you remember the times you used to squeak that duck in the bath? No, no, not THAT duck, you fiendish fool. The real squeaky ducks. Well, you can relive the memories if you hit up your boy 咒術師瑪苟斯 and buy it off of him.

一箱浮標：魚人頭
RWLRWLRWL! MRGLE MRGLE! MRGL! RRRWL 咒術師瑪苟斯 RWLRWL!

一箱浮標：木製皮皮
First of a new generation of glorious bobbers from the Broken Isles! Don't you point that Pepe at me! It's a dangerous thing, that, and, uh...well, if you wanted it, you'd be fishing open water in the Broken Isles. To speed up the process, I hear that waters near active Fishing Masters from 島嶼魚友 have an even higher drop rate. DON'T YOU POINT THAT PEPE AT ME.

一箱浮標：蟲罐
The truth of the matter is that worms are boring. They're efficient, but they're boring. They're so boring they can't even be unique in the place you catch them. Yes, yes, open waters of the Broken Isles, yadda yadda. Zzz.

一箱浮標：拖船
I never thought I'd fish out a boat, it's a big blue watery bobber. Open Broken Isles water you shall fish from, and glorious Boats you shall find. Do beware loneliness if you fish off an island's coast.

一箱浮標：貓頭
I'm not a cat person, nor a dog person, only a fish person. However, if a cat bobber's glowy eyes can help me catch fish, I'm all for experimentation. You've just got to hit these Broken Isles open waters and hope for the best.

浮標木箱：惡魔腦袋瓜
英普斯 is quite the demanding little demon, as he is a Master Fisher, but rewards abound. Well, they don't really, but they're worth your time if you have time to spare and waste. Once every few days, he'll show up in the Broken Shore for you to slave away, gathering 被褻瀆的海草. Once you become his Best Friend, for 100 units of the disgusting stuff, you can purchase that bobber.

浮標木箱：森林面貌
If one were inclined to sit all day and fish in Val'sharah, one may occasionally stumble upon 守護者蕾奈. She may be stern of gaze and prouder than Cenarius, but she is a fierce Master Fisher if I've seen one, ever! Become her best friend, and exchange 100 腐化球體 for this beautiful bobber, an everlasting representation of her sylvan beauty. It DOES NOT have hooves. I checked.

浮標木箱：漂浮圖騰
A Draenei Shaman named Spacetotem once told me you couldn't trust a Totem that couldn't float, and I've not trusted a totem since...before this one! 阿庫爾‧河角 is waiting to be Best Friends with you and sell you one of these, assuming you're willing to give him 100 古老圖騰碎片.

浮標木箱：雕塑木製頭盔
First, the Vrykul came for our lands. Then, they came for our homes. Then, they came for our children. And now they're here for our fish. NO MORE, I SAY! Use their helmets as bobbers, I say! 柯爾賓 wants your 閃光的小珠, a hundred of them, and you'll get a Vrykul helm for a bobber!

Oh, romance, when you hold us! A beautiful delusion, the prettiest of them all! And who more keen to its charms than Suramar's sheltered dwellers? 夏蕾斯 is one of these, but she is peculiar in that she's in charge of cleaning sewers. Help her out, become her best friend, give her a hundred 黃金小鯉 and lull yourself to sleep with a silly boat replica.

浮標木箱：附魔浮標
Night elves aren't nearly as nice as they seem. Don't buy into the lie. But if you want a face of their scheming little features for a bobber, 『水之守衛者』伊莉西亞 has your back (with a dagger in it, probably).

The Secondary Essentials: Lures & Consumables納特之帽抗惡劣天候釣魚帽never食腐蟲水下誘魚器

玻璃浮標
Contained in 一袋亮晶晶的東西, itself obtained from Azeroth Fishing Daily Quests. This fragile bauble is of limited interest for advanced Anglers, but it can be of some use for the younger, less experienced ones. Despite its low practical utility, its rarity still makes it a coveted item among collectors...which serious Anglers most definitely are.

閃光的小珠
Purchased from a variety of Trade & General Goods and Fishing Supplies Merchants. It's shiny, and fish are attracted to Shiny things. Then again, 霍格 is attracted to Shiny too, so I guess fish aren't all that special.

夜色蟲
- Purchased from a variety of Trade & General Goods and Fishing Supplies Merchants.
- Looted from some Ghouls and other Undead corpses.

水下魚珠
Found by opening 斯特登的困擾, a rare catch in Stendel's Pond, in Westfall. Not so much to be applied on your line as much as to be used as a tool to see where fish is located, this "lure" can be of some use when fishing especially quick fish. You're still better off using of the classics, though. Nothing beats a good old Attractor, take my word for it!

明亮的小珠
Purchased from a variety of Trade & General Goods and Fishing Supplies Merchants. Shinier than 閃光的小珠. Don't tell 霍格 or you'll be watching over your shoulder for a long, long time to come.

食腐蟲
The ABSOLUTE RAREST lure in the game, and I am not exaggerating by even an iota. If you have this, know someone who has it, used to know someone who had it or SEEN IT at any given point in-game, you are among the very few who ever have. And I bet, until now, you had never realized your luck. It drops from the 腐爛者 NPCs in Duskwood, albeit at a rate that makes 歐爾灰燼 seem common.

水下誘魚器
- Purchased at various Fishing Supplies merchants; they all hold no more than (1) at a time, so this is a very time-consuming method to acquire them.
- Can be crafted by Engineers at a skill of 150: 水下誘魚器. Make yourself some Engineer friends! Ideally some that are willing to handle worms, because they do need to smack some live 夜色蟲 in metal casing. Not for the faint of heart.

羽飾誘餌
Cooked from 鮮美翅膀 through 食譜：羽飾誘餌. The recipe is obtained by exchanging 3 美食主義者的獎勵 at various Cooking Supplies vendors. The flying things you need to slay in order to obtain some of the ingredients are much, much too dangerous for your average Angler. Of course, any Angler makes friends with actual adventurers, so you could commission them to acquire some...

鋒利的魚鉤
Found in 釣魚藏寶袋, itself obtained from Outlands Fishing Daily Quests. A classic Angler's tool. You've got to be amazed at the fact that it can only be obtained this way. Who would've thought that bent metal hooks could be SO hard to craft?

發光蟲
Found by opening 釣魚藏寶袋, obtained from Northrend Fishing Daily Quests. If a 明亮的小珠 and 夜色蟲 had a baby, this would be it. With the ultimate shiny coefficient (1.722, to be accurate) and the most meaty worm taste (I can testify), this is the ideal lure for your most touchy excursions. I advise you keep it close when attempting to lure out 海底潛伏者, or when attempting to drag a 克拉卡農 out of the depths. Or you can, like me, just hoard the thing and show it to impress people.

抗熱加工旋轉誘餌
Can be crafted by Engineers at a skill of 510: 抗熱加工旋轉誘餌. Initially thought to be required to catch 碎鱗大魚 out of lava, it quickly became apparent that it did nothing another lure couldn't. It was a sad day for Anglers across the world, and all mourned with tears of blood when it was also found out that the 碎鱗大魚 was actually never in the game to begin with...

尊爵不凡之蟲
This meaty, tasty beast (yes, I have tasted it for science) is arguably one of the most impressive natural potential baits. This is the absolute best bait for you to get for yourself AND your catches, assuming you truly care about their well-being. Funnily enough, this fleshy piece of supreme vermin is acquired through...fishing. Use shiny lures to attract some of them, then upgrade your Angling by using these to acquire some of the biggest lunkers around. FOR GLORY!

蘭姆西船長的淡啤酒
- Brewed by mixing a 一皮袋矮人烈酒 with a 壺裝矮人蜜酒! You, however, need to be Chef-enough (or know someone who is) to have learned 食譜：蘭姆西船長的淡啤酒. The recipe is obtained by opening the reward containers from completing Northrend and Outlands Cooking Daily Quests as well as those from Fishing Daily Quests!
- Captain Rumsey is to be thanked for the existence of 奇特的蘭姆酒 and its darker and lighter counterparts, as well as the famed 黑標美味蘭姆酒! Carry some around, and celebrate Rumsey's eternal, liquid glory!

暗水藥水
This item, at times, can serve you greatly. Whether you have to delve into deep waters for exploration purposes or have to escape some smelly PvPer (yes, they are smelly), this is your best friend! It is brewed by Alchemists by combining 3x褻瀆之油 together. As a fisherman, you can gather the 棘魚 needed, bring it to an Alchemist of your choice and have heaps of the potions made. Plus, you transform into a Jinyu: what's not to love?

速游藥水
As redundancy alongside the 暗水藥水, this is yet another interesting Angler tool. It may be tailored for explorers more so than for Anglers, but it serves the same purpose, minus the Jinyu transformation. Eww. Jinyus. Available at an Alchemist near you: 速游藥水.

水下呼吸藥劑
Breathing underwater is one of the most undervalued skills ever. You can peek at people, and they don't see you. It also enables a really interesting neverending loop of swimming fun: by breathing underwater for long periods of time, you can gather a lot of 荊棘藻, which in turn can be used to craft MORE 水下呼吸藥劑, which in turn enable even MORE gathering of 荊棘藻! You see where I'm going with this? I thought so. Available at an Alchemist near you: 水下呼吸藥劑.

強效水下呼吸藥劑
Meant for the most hardcore of waterbreathers out there, this potion gives you gills. You can go and have a talk with some of the most remote fish in Azerothian oceans and lakes, all the while enjoying the scenery. The biggest downside to this potion is the necessity for you to get your hands on some very unusual...亡靈腐液. If you've some silver to pay an actual adventurer to gather it, he might do it for you... Available at an Alchemist near you: 強效水下呼吸藥劑.

德拉諾水下呼吸藥劑
Say hello to your new best friend. You've been meaning to explore the depths of the Great Sea, yes? Stomp hard on some 月牙劍魚肉 to extract some 月牙魚油, and brew it with some fermented 深淵大嘴鰻肉. I promise you it'll taste good. Oh yeah. Absolutely. Totally.

水上行走藥劑
With the advent of the 釣手隊漁筏 and the ability for a lot of classes to walk on water by virtue of their skills, this item has fallen out of fashion dramatically. I would however venture to say that you should always be carrying some around, if only to share with people you meet during your travels. You are, after all, an Angler, and I'll be damned if an Angler can be seen without proper tools! This is generally obtained through the completion of Fishing Daily Quests, but Alchemists can also brew them in a pinch if you're in a hurry: 水上行走藥劑.

德拉諾水上行走藥劑
If you, like me, have been wondering what you're meant to do with an overflowing stash of 月牙劍魚肉, this right here might be your solution. Squeeze the flesh into 月牙魚油, gather up some 盲湖鱘魚肉 and find a friendly alchemist that likes to pretend that shaking bottles is the same as doing science, and he'll get you some of these. They can serve you well.

海霧藥水
With new continents arrive new angling must-haves, and among these a unique brand of Water Walking apparatus. Tired of having your feet wet by the surface of the Stranglethorn's algae-ridden coasts? Worry not, for this new concoction will let you levitate. This misty brew can be purchased from any alchemist near you! Or, you know, you can just use your 釣手隊漁筏.

PS: You can also jump off mountains while under the effect of this hard-hitting drink. I rate it 5/7 with rice, would recommend.

尖銳巨牙矛
A reminder of older times, when your ability to catch fish was deemed worthy of respect, as opposed to worthy of derision. This spear, of the most typical Tuskarr craft, is a fun, effective way to enhance the ornamental value of your favorite fishing spot. Plant it in the ground, and behold the raw might of a huge, impaled fish. Quite raw indeed. Plus, it's inspiring enough to better your fishing ability and that of nearby anglers!
If you want to get your hands on one of these antiques, just get to work with 釣手隊 and their Daily Quests! It'll take a bit, but...you'll be going there anyway, if you're serious about your fishing!

誘餌大師釣餌箱
One of the best news since the advent of the line-on-a-wooden-twig, this massive Engineer-produced Tackle Box will allow you to store fish like never before. Starting at level 475, Engineers can work on making you one of these: 誘餌大師釣餌箱. If you're serious about your Angling, you may need two of them to keep at all times, and another seven for your bank.

DISCLAIMER: Those who would advocate the use of an 高級致冷櫃 are not Anglers, they are Cooks. Be wary of them.

Acquired after speaking to the elusive, lonely 鬼影熊貓人漁夫. This item makes your Pandarian fishing excursions a LOT more fruitful! Or fishful. Or something. Once the next expansion rolls around, this will be largely obsolete, but it'll always be worth keeping as a memento!

One of the two exclusive rewards for the First Place winner of the . You become a fish. You swim fast. You're cool. You're SO cool you can even dual-wield fish

蒼藍絲質腰帶
A little known belt with invaluable benefits for those who, like me, love to explore some of the more remote oceanic areas in search of hidden clams, perhaps containing a 金珍珠 or two... Plus, if you fall off your raft, it can help get you back on it faster. Or if a shark is chasing you. Or something. Be creative.

漁夫手套
Despite not providing you with any Fishing-related buff whatsoever, this item has the merit of making you look cool. It's dark(ish), and it's for Fishermen. Since we can't get Angler's Gloves, we'll settle for these. Acquired through the completion of 小心壁顎! for the Horde!
Alliance players instead get the rare 漁夫腰帶 from 小心壁顎!! Hardcore Anglers who can wear Leather CAN, if they so desire, transfer back and forth to acquire both... Quite the hardcoreness, if you ask me!

釣魚椅
- Acquired by giving the unique 25-digit Loot Card Code to 藍卓‧長射. This is the oldest bum-resting furniture piece known to Anglers.
- Acquired by browsing the Black Market and bidding incredibly high amounts of gold when it is listed.

納特的釣魚椅
Acquired by becoming Nat Pagle's Best Friend. This is a direct mimic of the aforementioned original 釣魚椅. For all we know, maybe Nat designed that one, hm?

蘑菇椅
Purchased from 埃拉‧暗影風暴 after devoting weeks of grinding to the Molten Front daily quests from the Cataclysm era. This is a more cushy chair than the other two, but it lacks in the beverage-holding department. Watch your lagers!

水漾寶石
Every hour, you can immerse yourself in the reality of a fish by going full-on Jinyu mode and breathe underwater. It's a convenient little item, this one, but you've got to earn it: 『獵潮者』山恩 is the only creature on which you can find it. If you slay it like the adventurer you're not, YOU TOO could be more than a man!

釣手圖騰
I don't know why anyone would bother fishing for only two minutes, but if you were so inclined, getting your hands on this item may be a goal to shoot for. Become a good friend to 阿庫爾‧河角, give him 50 古老圖騰碎片, and the useless bauble is yours.

柯爾賓的信標
Angling is all about finding shiny baubles (as you well know if you've read this far), and this is but the reflection of angling in the realm of thievery. Being deemed a helpful friend by 柯爾賓 will give you the right to acquire yet another shiny bauble to find even more shiny baubles, given that you're willing to exchange 50 閃光的小珠 for them.

One of the most problematic issues facing Anglers across Azeroth and time itself is smell. The skin of a human, or an elf, or even that of a Tauren, has a peculiar scent to it that repels even the most tolerant of fish. In order to manage this unbidden crisis of the soul, getting a new shirt is mandatory. If you wish to do so, giving 50 被褻瀆的海草 to 英普斯 after becoming good friends is the next step in your journey. May you smell ever like algae!

海員的哨笛
In order to match the potency of the renowned 暗月之哨, an Angler must submit themselves, once more, to the will of 加里莎‧日露 and give her 25 暗月匕爪 in exchange for one of these. Beware: this whistle was never meant to be used as a means of attracting fish and crabs, but rather meant to discourage mere fishermen from encroaching on your chosen angling location. You will no doubt end up alone if you abuse this toy, which is for the better. The less people, the less noise, the more fish.

This little shiny, reminiscent of some world-treading Hobbit and his adventures, is one of the oldest Fishing-related shiny in the game! It can be caught in a LOT of areas, all of which are fairly low level. Orgrimmar, Stormwind City, Ironforge, Loch Modan, The Wailing Caverns, etc. Fishing your Capital Cities is probably your best bet. You'll never quite know whether yours is a forgery, but...you can always pretend it's as real as my own, eh?

至尊二戒
Sauron's lost ring was apparently found by 老人巴洛 and shoved in some 釣魚藏寶袋 or another...and you'll be the luckiest non-Hobbit bastard if you find it within a year of gathering Crocolisks for that senile Angler. Do all your Outlands Fishing Dailies, and one day you might come to own this little beauty. And then you can retire, stand near a lake and give out Daily Quests, too.

至尊五戒
Nobody will ever know what happened with the 3 and 4 Rings, but I can surely tell you where to find that which ATE them. Go see 瑪西亞‧切斯, complete her Fishing Dailies, open up your 釣魚藏寶袋 and PRAY you find a 小型泰坦鋼帶鎖箱. Once you find THAT, open it and PRAY you see some purple text. Once you SEE purple text, you then PRAY AGAIN that the purple text says "The 5 Ring". Then, you can guarantee that you've got what you wanted. But you probably didn't, so keep fishing! You might even grow to like the darn grind, you wicked you.

遺失的戒指
Much like the aforementioned 至尊五戒, it is found in 小型泰坦鋼帶鎖箱, albeit on a MUCH more common basis. Now if you want to go REALLY Hardcore, you try to get an 遺失的戒指 of each possible Affix roll. Ayep!

斯特登的結婚戒指
Much like some previously mentioned items in other sections, this is found by gutting up a 斯特登的困擾 and digging through its entrails! With your bare fingers, mind you, because it's really tiny, and surely you would not want to miss it by not looking exhaustively enough. Oh, and someone tells me it's only found in Westfall, in Stendel's Pond.

驚懼海賊戒指
Yet another Angler-desired item coming from the famed . This ring may not be as rare as some other ones, since you can get it for no more than the second place, but it's definitely on your "DO-WANT" list, and not even because it's a Heirloom. Just because it's an Angling item. Get it, polish it, stash it and you'll be one step closer to a full collection!

Much like the 遺失的戒指, this is found in some of the excessively rare 小型泰坦鋼帶鎖箱, and much like the 遺失的戒指, collecting one of each affix would make you, by far, the most Hardcore Angler ever. Ever...ever.

黃金婚戒
Cheap and straightforward, this is your baseline "Look at me, I FISH" item. It's unsurprisingly found in bags given to you by completing daily quests for 老人巴洛 in the Outlands!

堅固的風暴珠寶
First of many Stormjewels, this one is known for its solidity. It's tough, it's sturdy, it's solid. Very solid. Yeah. It can be found in the scarcely found 釣魚藏寶袋, and rarely in a 小型泰坦鋼帶鎖箱. I swear, it's really solid

堅硬的風暴珠寶
Second of six Stormjewels, this one is known for its rigidity. It's straight, unbending and mule-headed. Nobody can straighten your blades like this guy, so if you feel both lucky AND blade-straightening, open up some 釣魚藏寶袋!

閃亮的風暴珠寶
Last of the blue Stormjewels, this is the type of gem you put in your wine to turn it into champagne. It doesn't give enough Spirit to brew strong alcohol, but it's probably fit to mix with 一瓶頂級達拉然紅酒 for the perfect wine.

清晰的風暴珠寶
First of three red Stormjewels, this thickly-hued crimson gem is said to increase your muscular mass by...a lot. Because it's counter-indicated for Gnomes, I never tried it, but I wouldn't doubt the claim now that I think back on Nat Pagle's imposing musculature. Much like the blue jewels, this can be found in a 釣魚藏寶袋 or 小型泰坦鋼帶鎖箱!

精緻的風暴珠寶
Another red Stormjewel, this one is fragile. Really, really fragile. I broke six before I could stash one, and I'm soft alright. If you get one of these, I advise you squeeze it between stacks and stacks of 毛料. Just saying. I wouldn't risk having to open a hundred more 釣魚藏寶袋!

明亮的風暴珠寶
Third red Stormjewel, and BOY DOES THAT THING SHINE. WOOHOO! So shiny. Marcia Chase almost took back the damned thing when I pulled it out, suggesting that she had "given me the wrong 釣魚藏寶袋". I smacked her on the head fiercely and went off with my booty. I think she's meshing with Goblins or something.

海洋之眼
First of all the Fishing-related gems implemented in the game, and it used to be REALLY popular because of the value given to "+15 Stamina" gems back in Burning Crusade. The only equivalent was the 堅固的蒼穹藍寶石, and it was mostly reserved to high end raiders initially. To get this shiny memento, hit up 老人巴洛 and complete his quests every day! It's bound to show up, as it's a lot more common than the damned Stormjewels.

海妖之淚
Although it can be contained in 產卵的暗水蚌殼 or purchased for the moderate cost of 100 x 冬鰭蚌, I would still put this in the category of Angler-related shinies. It can be found by opening Marcia Chase's 釣魚藏寶袋. It's nothing special, but it's also mandatory for a full collection, aye? Do your Northrend Daily Quests! It's not as though you wouldn't otherwise, but...yeah.

塵埃使者
And so it came to pass that the Legendary Blade, 灰燼使者 was never, ever found. I suspect Nat Pagle may have something to do with this, but we will never know. Until the blade is found again, we have her little sister, the Dustbringer. She is a marvelous piece of metal, crimson and emanating power beyond this world! To catch her, simply head to Northrend, and cast away. Good luck. You may be there for, quite literally, years. It is one of the rarest fishing items ever put in the game, and I suspect it will remain so for a long, long time to come. Oh, how many fishermen put this on the Auction House for a few pennies...

一袋海星
Directly from the depths of Vash'jir, these cute wannabe ninja stars are quite comforting in the way they stick to you. It's like a warm, wet, squishy feeling of awesome all over the face! You may notice that if you keep them in their bag for too long, they become agitated. If they become TOO agitated, they escape on their own and, believe me or don't, they will try to smudge all their starfish muckiness all over your fishing gear! So throw them well, and throw them often, or you may end up with a very, very rusty pole... To obtain these lovelies, just...scratch a TCG Loot Card or two... ( *cry* )

破酒瓶
You ever wonder what Goblins do in their spare time, hm? Oh, I know, they pollute, they destroy, they salvage, they ruin, they smell. But this little thing here gives you a hint into what they do in their free time: they booze and brawl. That's right. Caught in the nasty Sludge Fens waters, this is a remnant of a fight gone wrong. Or right, depends which perspective you're taking. Either way, beware when handling it: it cuts!

奇怪的引擎零件
Fished in Steam Pump Flotsam in the polluted waters of Zangarmarsh, this Engineering marvel will give you bragging rights among friends, family and anglers! It will prove dedication, because the acquisition of this thing doesn't come easy. Steam Pump Flotsam doesn't show up all that often, since you are forced to fish up other pools to get rid of the excess 贊格里安孢子魚 and other pest clogging up shore space. There is a chance, once the shores are cleared, that some Naga debris will gather up in a neat little pool of garbage, in which you may find this engine.

WARNING: Members of the Horde will only ever find 壞掉的引擎零件, because their Engineers cannot comprehend the amazing nature of this piece of technology.
WARNING #2: Members of the Alliance will never find a 壞掉的引擎零件 unless they manage to get a Horde Angler to sell them one. Good luck with that!

金鱗小販魚
Fishing in ANY Fishing School in the Outlands gives you a chance to strike this beautiful shining non-shiny. Despite its absolute uselessness as far as culinary feats are concerned, it is prized due to its resale potential. A lot of Draenei and Orcs in the Outlands decorate their huts and/or spaceships with these trophies. In fact, it is said that the more 金鱗小販魚 one's house contains as decoration, the more luck will be brought to the dwellers of that house. It is, of course, mere superstition, for I have well over nine thousand of them hanging on my walls but have yet to find a 32磅重的鮭魚.

Collector value? High! Get a stack of them or you're no real Angler, you hear me!?

染血監獄凶器
A prisoner's grim, old best friend. And another prisoner's worst enemy ever. Fished from the waters right outside the Violet Hold, this weapon is not the only one of its kind. One can only shudder at the amount of...bloodied victims.

不尋常的羅盤
Found in one of Marcia's 釣魚藏寶袋, this widget was probably put together by some of the High Tinker's undergraduates and hidden away as far as possible when it was realized to be what it was. It is, by far, one of the most mystifying objects known to me. It makes me dizzy, and then I get the vague feeling that the compass is trying to tell me something. Maybe if I keep spinning it...

華麗酒杯
This lovely tankard, sometimes found in 釣魚藏寶袋, is to be used as a carrying container for your liters and liters of 蘭姆西船長的淡啤酒. At least in theory. Sadly, and Nat Pagle pointed this out at length in the first part of his 納特‧帕格的釣魚技巧完全攻略, you cannot both hold the stein AND a fishing pole at once, forcing you to give up the former to keep casting your line. Either way, it does have a classy, silver polish.

古舊的銀鏈扣
Another silvery item found in 釣魚藏寶袋. Since we, as Anglers, have no alternate Wrist-covering gear, this seems like the only logical choice. I personally don't feel too comfortable walking around with such valuables, especially when I'm visiting some of the Goblin towns a lot, but you go ahead. Feel free to wear them. But don't complain if someone "borrows" them without your consent, will you?

鋒利片魚刀
If you've ever been on a fishing trip and had to gut one of your catches to delve its entrails in the hopes of finding some specific, I don't know, 斯特登的結婚戒指, then you probably wished you had a fillet knife with you. So get your own today! Slave away for the old man, and get yourself a lucky 釣魚藏寶袋 containing your coveted fishingware!

破損的叢林帽
If you're interested in the newest awful fashion trends, I suspect Marcia Chase might be just the woman for you. She'll not so subtly slip some of her obvious failed creations in her 釣魚藏寶袋. This is a piece of art in and of itself: leopard skin patched onto a classic 大師之帽. Wonderful. Yo, Nat, we got an artist over here.

鑽石飾尖柺杖
Another one of Marcia Chase's creations, which she also distributes in her plentiful 釣魚藏寶袋. She may think people would not see through her ploy, but she is attempting to make a profit by flipping some armaments that Blacksmiths actually work for: 戰鬥法杖. She slaps some rubbish, 破裂的鑽石 on it and calls it a day. I see through your game, Marcia, and I will NOT remain silent about it!

納特的釣魚手冊
Written on waterproof paper and bound in rough 克拉卡農 leather, this booklet contains heaps of information put down by the Master himself. It allows fishermen to bypass the hard, weathering training usually forced upon Anglers. The book can be purchased for after becoming a Friend of Nat Pagle!
I sometimes find dubious the notion that Nat would allow such childish shortcuts to exist, but I then realize that not everyone has the self-control and willpower that we do. A fisherman friend is still better than a non-fisherman friend.
Note: Real Anglers do NOT purchase this from Nat Pagle himself, they crush 克拉卡農 scales until the damned beast throws one up.

恰克的水桶
Ever heard the saying "Open a Bucket, Find a Crocolisk"? No? I thought so. Well, it's a new saying, and it's very fitting for Anglers. By completing the 城裡的鱷魚 quest, you get a bag that might just contain this little guy. He has three brothers that also live in buckets, and you may get THOSE as well! Chuck is by far the most aggressive, though.

凸牙的水桶
Chuck's first brother, Toothy has a bit of a dental problem. Some believe it is due to a neurotic problem triggered by a life lived in a narrow, dark bucket, leading the poor thing to chew on anything and everything. Others, and that includes me, think it's just a matter of intra-species variation. This seems to be the most...relevant hypothesis. Complete your 城裡的鱷魚 daily from 老人巴洛, and maybe you'll get this little guy.

史納立的水桶
Unable to stop growling like a little threatened puppy, this brother of 恰克 simply can't stand still. The good thing is that it sounds a lot more threatening than it actually is, so fear not if, by some chance, you hear a constant, squeaky animal growl when opening your 釣魚藏寶袋!

污息的水桶
Last of the Croc-Quatuor, 污息 is the smelliest. The roar of this guy isn't feared so much because it sounds scary but rather because it means it will open its tiny, Crocolisk maw, releasing in the process a nauseating breath. This is as close to a non-Dragonkin Breath Attack as you'll ever get. Fear not, of course, if your 釣魚藏寶袋 is giving off weird odors... You always smell like fish anyway, so what's the big deal?

巨大下水道老鼠
Fished up from the waters of the Dalaran Underbelly, this little beast is surprisingly a lot cuddlier than you would think! Bigger than his fellow kin, he also seems to have a much more dog-like attitude: on command, he will attack, bite, roll over, and even FETCH! I think he might've eaten one too many of the 噬法魚 fish in the sewer waters...

魔法喇蛄盒
As you probably know, 皮恩奇先生 is a very rare catch found in Highland Fishing Pools in Terokkar Forest, in Outlands. More rare even is when you rub the bugger's lobster belly and he grants you a wish, whereby he promises to assist you in your Pet Battle endeavors! The 魔法喇蛄 might not be Mr.Pinchy himself, but it surely is as close a relative as you'll find. Smaller, faster, and more readily available! All you need to do is spend days in Terokkar casting away at the pools until the Lord of Lobsters appears!

小海馬
With the establishment of an official ground for the Darkmoon Faire occurred one of the most unusual events in Angling history. An absolutely massive migration of 野生海馬 was denoted for a time, leading to the advent of a million millions little Sea Ponies floating around! Take my word for it: when you can't get into the Darkmoon Faire, it's a Sea Horse haven! When the Darkmoon Faire opens up its doors however, they all leave due to the noise generated by Barrel-Shooting Taurens, Steam Tonk-controlling Gnomes, and Cannon-Launching Dwarves, as you can imagine. 灘頭蟹
Slipping surreptitiously inside your Fishing Daily 一袋亮晶晶的東西 and 釣魚藏寶袋, these little crustaceans make for very, very tasty meals. Assuming you opt NOT to eat them and surrender 蟹肉 for the sake of keeping a pet around, know that they are high maintenance pets: they eat of just about anything, but have a slight overeating problem. Within a day, I had already gone through a hundred 休莫爾老爹的老派寵物軟餅... Beware, 'ts all I'm sayin'!

小金魚
Nothing makes a child happier than having a goldfish of their own! Well, some things do, but it's never as AWESOME! If you want to make the gift of bubble-wrapped goldfish, you'll need to complete some daily quests for 釣手隊 until you're "Honored" with them. If you feel lazy, however, 小魚 is a semi-decent alternative. But don't you DARE call yourself an Angler if you go that route. Don't - you - dare...

小藍鯉
With the re-discovery of Pandaria came a plethora of new discoveries, the first of which, for me, was the existence of...colored carps. Now I have found my fair share of the 金鯉魚, so much so that I'm tired of them, but once in a while you'll stumble upon some more exotic ones. This azure specimen is best found in the waters of the Timeless Isle as of right now. It used to be more plentiful in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, but I wouldn't venture there, what with all that transpired in recent times... I'm not a big fan of angry Sha and...other stuff, though. Y'know? But hey, that's your call. I play it safe.

小紅鯉
Speaking of exotic carps, it'd be hard not to mention the crimson glory that is this specimen! Found in Townlong Steppes waters, most easily near the Niuzao temple, they seem to swim alongside some of the blue carps, albeit never quite "together"! Funny enough, the Redbelly Mandarin schools don't let the red carps in, but they'll always take the blue ones in! You want red carps? Open water's your best bet. You want blue carps? Fish those Redbelly Mandarin schools!

小綠鯉
First time I saw it, I thought it was just a big pile of algae. And then I realized it was jiggly and agitated! A GREEN CARP!? I later realized that they were the most common of the carps, because the areas they inhabit are largely overfished. The Jade Forest, Krasarang Wilds and Valley of the Four Winds are some of the most popular areas for...fishermen. Nat only knows if they can appreciate the value of this green swimmer, but I doubt it...

DISCLAIMER: Do NOT cook this fish. It makes the absolute worst 烤魚乾 EVER.

小白鯉
Last and most prized of the exotic carps, this ivory beauty lives in a lot of rarely visited Coastal areas. Coastal Dread Wastes (I know right!?), Jade Forest and Krasarang Wilds! The best area to find it though is in the Kun-Lai Summit, in the Shado-Pan Monastery waters! It is a nearly enclosed space, and so the carps are mostly...prisoners of a sort. You will be fishing for a long time no matter what, so you might as well pick a restful area, hm? Nothing says restful like a Monastery. Especially with a 釣魚椅.

陸鯊
If you have explored the wilderness of Draenor, you might've, as a proud Angler, fished up all the schools you came across. In doing so, assuming you already made of Nat Pagle one of your garrison companions, you might've picked up some of the larger fish out there: LUNKERS! Lunkers can be exchanged for Nat Pagle's Lucky Coins. And Nat Pagle will take those coins and exchange them for...stuff of indeterminate value. The Land Shark is one such thing. Rumors say there are tornadoes out there filled with Land Sharks...

小海獅豹
Azeroth has a very unique sea fauna, to say the least! Between Makruras (or, Makinni, if you prefer), Nagas, Hydras and Murlocs, you're probably covered in the oddness department. But you haven't seen weird until you've seen lion seals! The most famous of them all, 小狗, is the underwhelming Anglers mascot. You can get one of his kin (offspring, perhaps?) by giving Nat Pagle FIFTY of his own 納特的幸運幣. Could he have been breeding 小狗 with some unknown, female lion seal..?

啵啵的泡泡
There was an ongoing debate in the Angler community about the existence of a blue-striped orange fish roaming the waters around the Darkmoon Island. This fish, called a Blorp, is named after the sound it makes when it leaps out of the water. In the night, if you listen carefully, you can hear a soft, muffled "Blorp, Blorp, Blorp" out in the distance from the Darkmoon Island docks. The sound haunts me to this day. Only recently did 加里莎‧日露 find a way to catch them, and she's selling specimens in exchange for 50 x 暗月匕爪. So get to Angling, boys and girls: fish up the Darkmoon waters, and trade that junk for a glorious Blorp specimen.

PS: Some fishermen claim that "Blorp" isn't the species' name but rather the name of an individual specimen. Truth is that all Blorps are named "Blorp". It is known.

透亮甲殼蟹
So you've heard about the existence of the mythical, ghastly 鬼蟹 in Vash'jir? It turns out that the uniqueness of the beast was overplayed: 加里莎‧日露 has, it seems, an inexhaustible number of its offspring, and she's trading them away in exchange for 100 x 暗月匕爪. The better question though, and I think you must be asking the same question, is WHAT she bred the original Crawler with? And how did it not riot?

幽靈鯊魚
In memory of the decimation of the 落單的鯊魚, 『水之守衛者』伊莉西亞 stocked up on the only right shark: the invisible one. Many an Angler has been caught unprepared by these sea beasts and lost a leg, an arm, or a hook. I would swiftly exchange 50 魔符碎片 for the creature, but I would lock it as far as away from my apparatus as is possible. Who would have thought one would mistrust a finned pet more than one despised 啵啵. Well, it has come to pass.

Makes a bubbly bit of a pretty day,
Fifty 沉沒法力, 咒術師瑪苟斯
Lays down the law, like a boss

廢廢
There's an awful lot of trash on Margoss's island, which I assume is why he deemed it worthwhile to get a pet raccoon. You can see the critter digging through the heaps of garbage, and giving 咒術師瑪苟斯 fifty 沉沒法力 will net you a specimen. Don't worry: you can also feed it with trash. That's just the thing to do.

海龜
Ah, the famed Turtle. He who doesn't know the Turtle is unworthy of the Turtle. The Turtles are the backbone of our universe. We stand on their backs. Exiled daughters of 神真子, Sea Turtles roam the world of Azeroth in search, not of answers, but of anglers. Anglers worthy of them. Dedicated anglers are distinguished by the ease with which they acquire their faithful Turtle. Casting your line in any Pandarian, Cataclysmic or Northrendish Fishing Pool will give you a chance to fish up this awe-inspiring, friendly, shell-protected guardian of the oceans. For the banal fishermen, those who have not yet seen the true nature of Angling, this wonderful creature has disdain.

It rewards dedication above all else. Thousands upon thousands upon thousands of pounds of bait will be used...but one day, you will be worthy.

蒼藍水黽韁繩
As a polar opposite to the magnificent beast mentioned above, this Water Strider is a testament to patience, not dedication. On a daily basis, you can visit 釣手隊 and complete quests for them, eventually attaining a level of fame among them high enough to be allowed to purchase this mount, assuming you do have the required gold (!). Sadly, and this is regrettable, the Water Strider does not like being used as a Raft, and although it walks on water, you will not be able to cast your line from its back. I don't think you'd want to, anyway, for fear of entangling your line with its long, clumsy legs.

赤紅水黽韁繩
Ha, ha! You thought Water Striders only existed in ONE color? Me too, but I was wrong. Nat Pagle has been holding on to these specimens, which you can acquire if you'd like for the moderate effort of...getting 100 Lunkers from Draenorian (Draenic?) schools, turning them in for Lucky Coins, and then exchanging A HUNDRED of those for a Crimson Strider! I wouldn't be surprised if somebody eventually bred both the Crimson and Azure Striders into a...Purple one.

烏龜坐騎
This is the lazy Angler's alternative to the much more valuable Sea Turtle. Truth is that it's uglier, greener and more soft-shelled than its blue counterpart. Plus, you actually have to WORK for the former. I'm not jealous of anyone with this Turtle, I'm not. Not one bit. I'm not jealous that you actually need to have a Loot Code worth a pretty penny from the WoWTCG loot cards, redeem it online and turn in the resulting code to 藍卓‧長射, and that there's only a limited amount of them out there.

I'm not jealous, because here's a secret... This turtle can be dropped by both 霜淵穴居者 (Horde) and 落月穴居魚人 (Alliance) from garrison waters!

Eat that, pay-to-Turtlers!

暗水魟魚
In your travels, you undoubtedly will visit the docks of the 暗月島 in a futile attempt to acquire a 暗月釣魚帽. You may never find the headwear, but you will fill up countless bags with thousands upon thousands of 暗月匕爪. For the small amount (and really, it is a small amount) of 500 暗月匕爪, the elegant 加里莎‧日露 will entrust you with the care of this strange manta ray.

You will be tempted to merely purchase 暗月匕爪 from the Auction House instead of fishing it, but I must warn you against this first step on the slippery slope of sloppiness. Fish them out yourself, or you can't call yourself an Angler!

深海底棲魚
While Conjurer Margoss may deserve very little respect for sitting on his arse all day, none can deny the quality of his goods. He is endowed with some of the most precious and coveted baubles an Angler could ask for, among which a gigantic bottom-feeder. How he managed to extract them from the depths of the Great Sea remains a mystery, but regardless, one must acquire a specimen! In the process of achieving greatness (and friendship with 咒術師瑪苟斯, you shall bear the burden you claimed as you titled yourself Angler and fish out 100 沉沒法力 in exchange for this beauty.

池塘刺棘水母
If, like many an Angler, you ~~are intimidated by~~ cannot be bothered wasting your time to slay 『永恆飢餓』克蘇摩 for a jellyfish-looking mount, then I come bearing relieving news: in the foul waters of Argus, one may find, among the infinitely worthless piles of rubbish and debris, a real big jellyfish. You will of course need to dedicate hours of your life to the endeavor of finding the eerie creature, but make no mistake: after a sufficient amount of time, no longer will you be reeling in rocks and fins and scales and tangled fishing lines, but instead the peculiar tentacular beast will manifest itself and let you ride it.

It's quite a comfortable seat, really.

猛鉗碎步蟹
Dost thou enjoyeth the daily grindeth of half-underwaterth zoneths?
If thou enjoeth ith, completeth 海底奪權, and thou dost shall thus geth this crabth.

鹹水海馬
If for whatever reason the fancy strikes you, hopping on Island Expeditions will yield 海員古幣. If you get 500 of these little shinies, you may trade them for such a specimen. Not the most compelling of angling endeavors, but as my grandfather said: a seahorse is a seahorse is a seahorse, unless it's not.

穿浪水母
Adventure away, anglers, into Island Expeditions! At random this reward may be bestowed upon you. Don't count on it, but...who knows? By adopting the dedication of legendary anglers, you may find it in you to sweat away at Critterslaying and come away with a Surf Jelly!

Great guide! Just as I thought no one could teach me anything more about 釣魚, I happen upon this beauty. Very well done. Unlocked some great memories for me.

Although the tooltip for 納特之帽 says it requires "Nat Pagle - Honored", and you list it as "Anglers - Exalted", it is in fact only available once you have made 納特‧帕格 your Best Friend, requiring a great deal of 飛天虎斑絲足魚, 擬色章魚, and 棘魚首領, none of which are mentioned in your guide as best as I can see.

Although an Angler would probably never stoop to using a 納特的釣魚手冊, I still feel it should be awarded a line or two in your guide? It doesn't only drop from Krakanon as the tooltip says; it can also be purchased once Nat is your Best Friend.

Being of such huge scope, your guide could really benefit from some more formatting imo; as example: Some of your tabs are so huge, that the reader actually miss the sub-tabs. I personally missed the Hats and Lines/Chants section of the first couple of reads because the Poles section is so huge.

With very little effort you can "nest" your tabs inside eachother making this guide much easier to read (imo), like I have done in my Arcane Mage Guide.

A tip for nesting tabs (I had loads of issues with this in the beginning as well) is to make your structure first; make your tabs code, followed by your tab codes and end the entire thing like you do now. Then within a single tab, you make your new tabs code with relevant tab codes, close them all. Rinse and repeat. You will get used to it :-)

Also if you are really OCD about this stuff like me, you could include a list of which pools you find where, and some notes of the extra stuff. Like the Water from the pools in Nagrand, the 烈性之火/烈性之水 from Cata pools, the extra fish you almost always get from northrend pools and so on.

What a wonderful guide! Informative and entertaining, and charming as all get out.

The only thing I can add to this is to recommend that new characters obtain their very first fishing pole by heading off to Azuremyst Isle as soon as they reach level 5 so they can can complete 非常美味的紅鯛魚!. There's something extra angle-y about making one's first regular cast with a fishing pole that one received as a reward rather than as a mundane purchase at the nearest dock.

I stumbled across this guide while trying to be a fisherman, and it showed me the error in my ways. I have since created a character dedicated to becoming a true angler. I write this right after achieving Zen Master Fisherman at level 49 and though I have no love for the gnomes, or the alliance in general (except Worgen, they are just so great which is an oxymoron as I am Forsaken) I thank you for all the information you have gathered here, you have changed my heart.

Blue set to match Nat's Drinking Hat and the Boots of the Bay
A set based entirely around that silly, wiggly squid hat (because I am SO IN LOVE WITH IT.)

I tried to stick to Cloth so everyone can wear them, though there are probably some better matches in the other types.

Funnily enough, this fleshy piece of supreme vermin is acquired through...fishing. Use shiny lures to attract some of them, then upgrade your Angling by using these to acquire some of the biggest lunkers around.

Is it true? Because I couldn't find any other prove that it works this way, plus I wasn't able to fish any worms this way.

Great guide, but under lines you should add 茹克的幸運釣魚線, as it is +4, the best you can get when combined with the +5 enchant to gloves.This item is also a one time get, which I personally sadly wasted on a +30 rod.

I was re-reading this guide and it made me remember King Mrgl-Mrgl and his Winterfin murlocs on the north-west corner of the Borean Tundra coast. If you've finished the short quest hub, you can use Winterfin Clams to purchase some nice consumables:

Murliver Oil for 2 winterfin clams, and
Breath of Murloc for 5 winterfin clams.

The winterfin clams are easily collected as they lie on the beach among the enemy murlocs on the opposite shore. One can gather 100 in well under an hour. I double-checked them and they are consumables, but they're wonderfully inexpensive (you don't even need to spend gold!) and easy to get.

Small update though for the 荊棘谷釣魚大賽, it's now a region wide world quest and the first 50 people to complete it (across a region) will be able to choose one of the five rewards: 驚懼海賊戒指, 高強度恆金魚線, 海灣長靴, 奧金釣魚竿, or 釣手大師魚鉤.

I thought this guide was super helpful, I absolutely will always use this as a reference for cosmetic and or anglin' needs! I have only one tiny caveat I may be a bit of a idealist, but I do believe that the Darkmoon firewater should also be mentioned in this guide, it's really helped me in my search for angling mastery, it may only be a slightly faster casting time but it really helped with the 2m timers on my underlight farm. Otherwise, PERFECTION.

Hi! This might be a stupid question, but is there any actual benefit in gearing up with fishing rods, baubles, and the like when you're maxed out in fishing skill? For example, if you have level 300 in fishing (the cap) and you have a bunch of fishing gear that gives you bonuses, does it just act identically to you capped at 300, or is there some hidden mechanics that further reduce chance for smaller fish and increase for larger catches, like bloated fish or rarer drops?

I just tried to get Fisherman's Gloves on my new aspiring angler (death knight) and the BEWARE OF CRAGJAW! quest will no longer give me the option of the gloves and instead forces me to take the ring Cragpool Band. This is a blow but I still won't let it stop me.

For everyone trying to get all of the bloated fish, there are 2 non-temporary fish missing from the list. The first is the Bloated Giant Sunfish, fished up from the shores of Quel'danas. The second is the Bloated Sewersucker, fished from red pools in the Underbelly in Legion Dalaran after Fel Chum is used.

Is it still possible to get The 5 ring? I've been doing Dalaran dailies for a year now, yet never even seen one Tiny titanium lockbox. Though I got epic jewels directly from a bag.

The 粗鐵魚竿 does not require a player to be on 坐享其成, is fairly easy to obtain (even by Alliance characters) , and is not BOE (it can be mailed to alts). There is a tight circle of about 5 near /way 20.7, 80.5. They can be repeatedly looted while swimming in a loop, and should drop at least one 粗鐵魚竿 within 30-60 minutes. Your character will need underwater breathing. The current retail version has been heavily nerfed when compared to the classic version. The classic version has a +20 fishing skill and a fairly good 29 DPS rating for a level 25 character (that has the required 100 fishing skill). In Classic, 粗鐵魚竿 can be farmed to make respectable gold on the AH.

I genuinely enjoyed reading this so much.. I just love it! Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together, and for sharing your experience with new Anglers like myself. It's funny, I recently made a joke to some guildies, "Every night I log on, I say to myself, this is it. I'm going to go on a fantastical adventure, full of monsters, magic, and treasure... but 4hrs later I'm still fishing". lolol I don't know what it is about fishing, or why I always find myself solitary by the waterside, but I love it.
