Something important to notice is the lit version of the torch is not unique so you can stock up and do one run if you can make it in time.

The lit torches have 5 minutes timer - after that they disappear but can be used while in combat which is very good. First I prepared 4 torches but not paying attension to the expire-time I burned only 2 buildings... then have to clear the forge again to light some more but this time I tried to burn the east biulding while in combat - managed and then I just rushed near the baracks and completed the quest with several orcs hitting me but then I just escaped them...
So the lit torches can be used while in combat...

They CAN be used in combat. Just finished the quest now.
They have a slight cast time on them, but interruption did not seem to be an issue.

Even if the Burning Bleeding Hollow Torches don't have a "use" function on them, you simply click on them when you are about 15 yards from the building which you wish to burn.

You have to find Bleeding Hollow Torches from Bleeding hollow peons and go next to the Forge - 69,69- and make them Burning Bleeding Hollow Torches .then you will be able to burn the houses.

as a sub/assasin rogue at 59, this was no challenge :P just vanish if u get aggro while burning, but u can burn all but barracks without aggro. The torches drop from peons all around

When doing the quests in Zeth'gor be warned that a lot of the mobs have paths that they move around. Clearing my way in as a 61 Warlock got quite frustrating because it seemed like every inch of the place was covered by a roaming mob. Before you pull something be sure to check that a mob isn't walking your way.

I can't tell you how many times I was alone with a peon, then when I finished the fight I was fighting 3 other mobs. :/

And yes, the respawn rates are quite high, in combination with patrols it can get very irritating.

this quest is a complete pain in the ass. you cant walk 5 feet without pulling a mob, and the respawns are just not funny. suggest doing it with a friend, pref one who can heal.

By the way, if you are a paladin and you have the torches and you are ganged up on by mobs. Bubbling will make the torches go away.

Ok,heres what you gotta do.First kill blood peon and get a torch.Then go to the forge in the Zethgor with the forge is at left of the entrance.When you have the torch burned you must destroy 4buildings with a (burning) torch.You must burn 2 houses-they are small at the left ant second right of the entrance but little further.Then you must burn a stable-it is where are the wolfes and where is the Worg Master Kruush.Then only left the Barracks-it is the biggest house or something like that.i dont know how to say this but it is the biggest house.And when you burn 4 buildings.Return to NPC and complete the quest.

Note:Every time you burn a building,you have get another torch
Note:When you burn a torch at a forge you have have to burn a building at 5min.Or it will not burn again

This quest is a nightmare for a solo player, but probably quite easy for two players. Soloable as a lv60 Affliction Warlock, but It's worth getting some help just to save on time and frustration. Not WOWs' finest moment, but quite a nice cloak as a reward

You have to be literally right on top of the forge or it will not work. This is not a hard quest and only one torch gets lit at a time. The lit torches have a 5 minute duration on them, so make sure you have the area cleared or easily accessible once you light your torch...

Crappy rewards imo...

As a level 61 frost mage, I soloed this quest, but it was infinitely hard with the downtime and constant patrols and respawns. Eventually I had all but the barracks done, so I just double bubbled, mounted up, and ran for it, threw it, frost nova'd, and got the hell out of there. Seemed to work pretty well. Didn't die at least ;)

When going for the Western Howel, I found it very useful to light the torch, leave Zeth'gor through the nearest exit, and then re-entering by the western entrance.. Saves a lot of frustrating pulling..

Worst area in all of outlands. If you aren't a mage or warlock or have one in your group I would suggest not bothering with this quest or any quest in this area. It's @#$%ing painful.

Actually, I didnt understand this Quest in the first place. What you need to do is kill the Peasants, the Fel Orcs who are fixing everything, they drop one of the torches, then you need to get to the forge that is located in the 'town'. that's where you need to smelt the torches, then you can light everything on fire :)

Seeing as how nobody has mentioned it, I'd like to point out the fun little fact that the Alliance have the identical quest, but they don't have to collect or light the torches, and the quest rewards them a choice fom 5 blues. I think Blizz is trying to say something.

Doing this as a destruction warlock, honestly I felt like killing myself.
Can't walk 5 yards without agroing a bunch of guards, and when you've finally almost done it after going oom and having to resort to wands, they run in fear and another bunch attack.

I tried to bubble, didn't work. Maybe teaming up with a druid would be an idea... :D

If you die, the (lit) torches will be removed from your inventory and you'll have to regather and relight them.

Edit: Not sure if unlit torches will also be removed.

If you have your flying mount, there's no need to engage any mobs now except to get the torches and light them. Just land on the tops of the four structures and set them ablaze. Remember, too, you can light all four torches at once. No need to keep going back to the forge.

This quest toke a lot of time for me, as i didnt knew where to light the torches.
If anyone is "in the same boat", then read here:

Stading in front of the main gate of this "town". You should see 2 guards on each side of the enstrance. After killing them, and entering the "town", you need to head left. The building all the way to the left is the "forge", where you can light the touches. It has a "bowl" filled with fire/something hot, in the middle. This place is located at the most north/eastern part of the town.

OMG... I use the Wow own qhelper. Its show the quest targets. BUT... First u need:
Searc for Bleeding Hollow Peon's near at 69.15 - 69.18 Kill Min.4 of these Mobs. Loot it out for questitems. Then go to this addres 69 - 69 Use the four Bleeding Hollow Torch, at the forge. and now u can go to complete the quest...
at 69.46 - 70.28
at 67.18 - 75.69
at 68.07 - 73.72
at 69.20 - 76.10
and now ur're Completed.

*EASY WAY* if you have a flying mount i suggest you use this. you will have to kill the people for the torches and then some near the forge to heat them but once u do that just fly up, then go to the buildings u have to burn and land on the roof. Then use a torch and burn it and no enemies will see you! hope this helped! :)

Aggro range of the orcs here is absolutely ridiculous. They see me on the horizon. Then they respawn 11 seconds later. I've died at least 12 times trying to find this fabled forge. %^&* it.

I must have killed at least 50 Peons, both inside the compound and outside, and have not found 1 torch. It's driving me crazy. I hate to give up on a quest. - Is there something I'm missing? Any advice would be sooo very appreciated.

Just added a panoramic view of Zeth'Gor with all burn targets labeled (may not be there until 2/4/12). This will show you exactly where the targets are. As for not getting the torches, I got one for just about every peon I killed - I had to kill a million non-peons during this quest - did you kill 50 peons or a few peons and a bunch of non-peons? I wish I had known about the 5 min limit on the torches - I got very frustrated because they went out on me and I had to fight my way back to the forge and then back to my next target - I'm ashamed to say it took me quite a while to think of flying (D'oh).

One thing about this quest. Once you get the torches, make sure you turn the torches into the torches that you're going to need in order to burn the buildings. I ran around for 20 minutes before I finally "got" that part of the quest. Even after I read the quest half a dozen times.

So, collect 5 torches, go to the forge, turn the 5 torches into single "burning" torches, then go set the buildings on fire. Hope this helps.

By far one of the most annoying quests in WoW's history. if you don't need the cloaks, skip it and save yourself the aggravation! - 30 minutes wasted trying to accomplish this using a level 64 toon and I am using BoA gear so do not need the cloaks. Was doing it for rep and xp.. not worth it at all.

Zeth'Gor Must Burn!

CAUTION: Torches will NOT stack once lit, so allow enough bag space for them.

Once you have collected four (or more, to be safe) torches from Peons, clear your
way to the forge (at 69, 69) and right-click four (or more, to be safe) times on the
stack of torches. You will now have individual BURNING Torches in your bags.

FLY onto the ROOF of each structure and right-click a BURNING Torch to burn the structure.

You also have to bear in mind that the torches expire. I didn’t notice this at first at it was truly annoying.

Zeth'Gor Must Burn!

Kill Bleeding Hollow Peons for their torches, ignite them at Zeth'Gor's forge then throw the burning torches at Zeth'Gor Buildings.

Description

The Bleeding Hollow clan have betrayed their noble heritage! We, the orcs who fought and died to save ourselves from the fel taint of Mannoroth, look upon our vile cousins and see only weakness and ignobility... and for that, they must burn!

Enter Zeth'Gor, their bastion to the east, and burn their buildings. Kill peons for their torches, ignite them at their forge, and hurl the burning torches at their hovels, their stable and their barracks. Burn them all, and then return to me!
