yeah was looking at this for those off tanking moments or maybe pairing this with ridiculously high stacks of iron fur... Right now been scouring the interwebs to try to find out what Legion's armor cap will be and how diminishing returns will effect Iron Fur stack at 100% per stack. My thinking being it shouldn't be hard to keep 3 stacks up and rolling even without any help from the art. weapon. That being said there are sooo many things now in the guardian druid tool beat that reduce physical damage. Pulverize, thick skin, so on and so forth. Like I said I really need to know how high is too high. I really don't see blizzard making the mistake of letting us bears go immune to damage again.

This is one of two legendaries (the other being 賽弗斯的秘密) that can drop for and be used by ANY class.

UPDATE: The latest Beta patch has adjusted many of the passive effects of these legendaries. The following represents the most current in-game data as of August 28/16 (many of the Wowhead tooltips have not been updated yet!)

This is one of the shared legendaries coming in Legion. Most of the new legendary drops will be class specific, while these select "shared" legendaries will be usable by multiple classes. Keep in mind that only legendaries your class can use will drop for you.

At the beginning of Legion, only 1 legendary item can be equipped at a time. Over time, as the expansion progresses this cap will be increased (Source).

Here is some further information about these items:

The legendary items are intended to be used for the entire expansion. They are currently item level 895, and it remains to be seen whether this will change prior to release, or during Legion itself (for comparison, Mythic mode gear from 翡翠夢魘 is iLvl 880).
Thus far, it appears that legendaries will drop from dungeon bosses, raid bosses, PvP Strongboxes, Mythic+ Weekly Caches and World Quest Caches (rewarded after completing 4 world quests). As it stands, these will be the ONLY sources that will yield legendaries. While the legendaries are rare drops, they are not fully random - there will be ways to target specific items (Source).
More difficult content will have a higher chance of dropping these items (Source)

If the slot for the item is transmoggable, you can transmog these legendaries to other appearances, and vice versa (unlike legendary items from previous expansions) (Source)

Blizzard plans to institute a "suppression aura" in effect for a certain number of weeks after Mythic raids are available, which would disable any legendary item passive effects (they would still function normally as high-ilvl regular items, with the primary/secondary stats intact). (Source)

Newb Question: Is this a "tanking" neck piece?

I originally thought so but, then again how often can a tank not take any damage for 5 seconds? Perhaps a paladin could or a Discpline priest's shields could help trigger this?

Otherwise, would this be BIS for all dps in legion? What do my wowheaders think?

Can confirm this drops from world quest chests, my first one on my paladin dropped this beauty. It procs in combat so if you can shield yourself (Artifact talent) or it just dosn't break it will refresh, currently shielding me for almost 400K for 30 seconds with only 805 ilvl.

Received today (9/5/16) on thrall for me. My loot spec was set to Holy, so I can attest it can drop for any specialization, not just tanks. In a way this is amazing (for my play style atleast) since I tend to zone out my own HP while healing the raid/party, and the stats are amazing.

While its ability is amazing for both tanks, dps and healers alike, the absorb shield does tend to get a bit annoying after a while. You will be having a holy bubble around you almost all the time, and every ~30s it'll make a sound.

Dropped for me 10th of September from Val'Sharah World Quest Cache. Outlaw Rogue.

The shield will apply at all times, even out of combat. If it runs the full 30s duration without dropping, it will have around a 5 second pause and it will re-apply again.

This dropped last night from a Wardens emissary chest. It did have a socket.

The bubble is very nice for melee DPS as it gives us some protection from our own stupidity.

It does constantly expire and renew all the time. No one else in my group seem to hear the noise so it's localized to just you.

Today I dropped it in Maw of Soul +2, how great I feel that I finally have a legendary. How sad I am that, as a rogue, that legendary is just a stat stick, and any other legendary would have been 10000000x times better.
To everyone out there looking for a legendary, don't despair. It will come to you, maybe in the least unexpected way.
Now to enjoy some more weeks without any legendaries because I think I have used a lifetime amount of luck.

So, it seems this buff is getting scaled by some Guardian effect or something like that, because we get a larger shield than the tooltip states, woot for tanks!

And, for the times when you're not tanking... While it's only producing 15% as stated, the buff lasts 30sec and is based on your health at the time it activates. So, if you ever join a group where I'm healing, you might see this tree turn into a bear every 30sec or so. But, when I go back to being a tree, I'll have an absorb for about 1/4 of my health! Woot for non tanks!

This needs to be an aura that lasts until you take damage, and then in 30 seconds (or 25, if you include the 5 second wait time) you get the aura back. This would stop two quick absorbs and the endless resets and be easily understandable.

First i was like "meh" when i got this as my first legendary being a guardian druid, but the more i play the more this thing feels like a beast!
If you can LoS an enemy or otherwise cc them to give yourself 5 seconds of breathing room during a fight you can refresh this as often as you're capable of and can basically topple any challenge as a tank.
Great for single targets but less useful vs large groups and/or very fast hitting enemies.

Sidenote for guardian druids:
This shields benefits greatly from your mastery. With 3700k base hp and about 10k mastery (avg ilevel of 850) i end up with a 760k absorb shield which is nearly 40% more than the 15% the buff claims to give!
However i think the shield might be bugged, it seems to give pre-mastery-nerf healing values because the extra 40% shield is about twice the % my mastery gives.

This is by far the best effect for open world. I don't know what Blizzard did in Legion but i got mad every time i got dismounted because it happend at almost every mob i crossed. But since i got this legendary it just happens when the shield is down.

Found a nice use for this: It acts like bubble hearth if weak mobs are attacking you. You can finish your hearth cast before they break through the shield.

Patch 7.1.5 is on the PTR now, and Prydaz has been buffed to a 30 25% damage absorb shield that no longer needs 5 seconds of damage avoidance. It also has a new appearance for the shield - and no more sound associated with the shield.

Have to say to the prot paladins who think this is dire, so stats not brilliant, well crit=parry so can't hurt. However the shield generated by bulwark of order is consumed first before the opus, which gives you the 5 second pause with no damage to allow it to re-proc, grab yourself a discipline priest buddy and the shield is almost always available, meaning your almost always walk into a fight/pull with over 1.5 million bonus hp... SoTR extends the durability of the shield quite nicely.

Just got this about an hour ago and was happy. First orange ever so it was cool. I ran to the ah and spent about 10k to gen it and such. Then I see all these people saying how it sucks. I figure, "What do they know? Should be good for pvp."

Blizzard, please get rid of the soap bubble effect introduced in 7.1.5 for this item. Your designers have worked very hard to generate very cool looks for all the equipment I have, but I can't appreciate their work and how cool my equipment looks because I keep getting distracted by this stupid soap bubble. Prydaz is quite overbudgeted for its item level ever since patch 7.1.5, having roughly 4485 total secondaries at ilevel 940. By contrast, a usual ilevel 940 necklace has 3739 secondaries. This gives Prydaz DPS value and in some cases this will outperform undertuned legendaries DPS-wise (example).

This is the best common legendary for tanks. With 5 mil. base health shield will give you roughly 750k absorption, and that's every 30 seconds! According to Skada, this thing makes up to 40% of my healing as VDH, with 30% on average, which is a lot, considering that DHs have other self-heals. For DPS it also boosts your survivability, with 2.6 mil health it will give you additional 650k, which may help you to survive big hits of unavoidable damage in heroic/mythic raids and high level M+ dungeons.

For classes with temporary health boosts like last stand you can boost this shield every now and then if you use your health increase before it will be refreshed. I get a 1m health shield on my prot warrior but if I use last stand it increases to 1.7m for the duration of one buff every 3 min. In the grand scheme of things it's not a lot but sometimes every little bit helps.

FYI, This posted tool tip is incorrect. When you upgrade this piece the shield remains 15%, not 25% as posted. So, wasted the first upgrade thinking it was 25%.

As a Tank, it grants a shield for 15% of your maximum health.
As a Healer or DPS, it grants a shield for 25% of your maximum health.

this lego has completely and utterly eluded me or any of my alts..yet i still see way too many people running around with it, as if its better than sliced bread...in some way i am happy this thing has eluded me, because i look at it simply..if you need the bubble...learn to play and you wont need it..and can use a far far better lego bis, this is not a swipe at anyone, just my thinking.

One of the benefits of this legendary that I haven't seen mentioned much is that the bubble allows you to ride past mobs without fear that the will dismount you. It protects you from being hit, so you just keep on riding.

Since 8.0 this seems to be bugged on my Vengeance DH.

She has 42khp, and is only getting a 7k shield.
It should be giving me at least 10.5k, and that's without versatility factored into it.

It's working perfectly fine on my Brewmaster Monk, however.

This is seeming like the best legendary for the Time walking Mage tower. I know people used to hate on it in the past, but a neck with a socket, good stats and can use the satyr enchant is pretty great.

I just had this drop on my lvl16 Mechagnome Hunter from Helya in Maw of Souls while running random LFGs.
I'm completely lost as to how this dropped, and considering this character is going to be a lvl20 twink, I'm conflicted as to my luck on getting it to drop (requires lvl45 to equip).
