Click on the Verify option on the header and follow the instructions. If you log in via Battle.net, this step will happen automatically.

Download and install the Wowhead Client

Run the Wowhead Client

Exit WoW, and use the Wowhead Client to submit your data to Wowhead

You can reach it on wowhead.com by going to Database > Items and then Toy Box under Quick Links.

This will take you to our Toy Box filter with a special Gallery format that displays images for all toys. Now you can easily tell what each toy does!

Toy Box Basics

The Toy Box is a storage system that saves all of your vanity items and turns them account-wide. This frees up a lot of bag space!

There are over 200 items in the Toybox.

You can see the complete list of current toys using our Toy Filter.

The Toymaster is an achievement for collecting 150 toys. This rewards Robo-Gnomebulator, which transforms you into a Clockwork Gnome.

In 6.2.2, Crashin' Thrashin' Commander is an achievement for collecting 200 toys. This rewards the title.

How the Toy Box Works

The Toy Box is a new tab in Collections, along with Mounts, Pets, and Heirlooms.

To add an item to the Toy Box, simply click on the item and it will be added to the interface. If you have the same vanity item stored on a different character, it will say the item is already known and it is safe to delete.

On the Toy Box pane, your collection progress is tracked and you can also filter by Source. You can also type in words in the search box and it will narrow down the displayed list of items.

Once an item is in the Toy Box, you can set it as a Favorite by right-clicking. This moves it to the top page.

The Toy Box also displays the toys you haven't collected yet with a greyed-out tint, so you are inspired to collect them.

Toys that can no longer be obtained are not included in the default UI--you can still learn and add them to your collection though. It's just hidden by default so newer players do not feel discouraged.

Muradin's Favor	When a player has completed Shadowmourne, they loot Sealed Chest from The Lich King 25. This starts Personal Property which Unsealed Chest. Wow! I get to craft the Everlasting Alliance Firework? What a relief. I farmed the Theramore scenario for that thing until my eyes bled, but never got it. I got the achievement for running a hundred scenarios before Mists even launched, but it would just never freakin' drop. I was still farming the scenario when the switch was flipped and the expansion went live--when everyone else started doing Jade Forest, I was still there, trying one last time.

Now I can finally get my hands on it. Thanks, Blizzard!

Great Guide! tho i have some confusion over some of the removed items, I can understand with pulling out the teleports ect to keep your lower level guys from having access to them. But Im at a loss as to why things like Darkspear Pride, Xan'tish's Flute, Mini Mana Bomb, ect would be removed. As their basically poster children of things that SHOULD be in the list. 100% for fun and taking up item slots.

Well i guess they may just not want to put code in place to keep alliance from turning into trolls and horde from turing into gnomes for the darkspear tribe thing, but the others were available to everyone.

Love the guide. however there is one thing wrong. The items that are not in the toy box but are still makred are toys only appear if you learn the item. I have Darkspear and Gnomeregan Pride in my toy box on the beta and others report having the others in their toy box as well.

This is a wonderful guide and a wonderful feature. My sole complaint(s) comes from the items that Blizzard is deleting.

- Why delete the Blessed Medallion of Karabor rather than make it effective only in the Outland version of Draenor?
- Why delete the Ancient Pandaren Fishing Charm rather than make it effective in Draenor too or simply leave it as a Pandaria only item?
- Why delete the Direbrew's Remote when it has such utility for getting to and from Blackrock Mountain and has remained available through 5 expansions?
- Why delete the Argent Crusader's Tabard which allows non-mages ready access to Icecrown and The Storm Peaks (i.e. all the Icecrown Citadel instances and Ulduar as well as Pet Battle dailies)?

In short deleting those items as well as the Dimensional Rippers is very short sighted and, once again, insults those who've taken the time and trouble to obtain those items when a few lines of code could preserve them and their utility without offending a sizeable group of players.

In a post on 01/19/14, the initial iteration of the Toy Box included a tab/page for heirloom items. However, since that report, I've been unable to find an update as to the situation with heirlooms. Is there an update out there that I'm missing?

I was so hoping to get rid of all those items that didn't make it to the toy tab. In fact those are the ones that are constantly taking space in my bags because they are useful, the other ones are useless and I have already deleted them.

1) Wouldn't the various pet leaches fit well in the toy box? They should be added in!
2) Why remove the Innkeeper's daughter, when other teleports that share a cooldown and location with the hearthstone are not?
3) The last relic of argus seems silly to remove, as the location is random and unlikely to be abused

As for ToyBox itself -> they could make it better by splitting it to 2 parts:
- account-wide - "ToyBox" - way ToyBox is constructed now
- character specific items - "ToolBox" - most of items they removed from it could be here (mostly teleporters or non-wearable enhancers) - non-batte pets like Argent Squire or Guild Herald fit here more then with pets

Another enhancement of ToyBox could be if it acted more as effect storage - it would allow inclusion of items which currently are bit outside of current scope because they have non-toy effect in addition to toy effect.
Effect in ToyBox would be modified to toy effect and there wouldn't be reason to exclude things like Rainbow Generator then

I have sold or deleted I think 70% of all my archaeology "toy" items. Do I need to find and solve them again via a toon, or is there a possibility to re-solve them ? Same with the Coin from that fish-achievement, I don't have it any more :\ Do we get those items direct into our toy box when they notice you have that achievement? Or do we really need to have it in your bags somewhere.

In the next expansion we can buy boxes with artefacts again, this time also for the Pandaran archaeology, means we can continue to solve old toys from Archaeology. Don't think the early solves we get back if we have deleted them.

93 Toys in my box. I could buy a Dalaran Seal from a gnome vendor in Ogrimar. Think he sells sometimes items from old expansions, not sure. I count 14 WOD event toys, and 37 toys you can collect in elsewhere in WOD. That makes in totale 93+51 = 144. I have to find somewhere 6 toys. I can spend a lot of gold for Toys, but 5K (or 4.5K ) for 1 toy... it is a bit to much :\

I don't know if this has been covered yet, but I purchased the Undercity Banner on beta and learned it - and was given both the Undercity and Darnassus Banners in my toybox. No need to farm the banners on both factions.

Of course you can't use it on the opposite faction, it says "Alliance Only" or "Horde Only" in red text.

Edit: I've confirmed that this also applies to Tol Barad Searchlight / Tol Barad Searchlight. If you learn one, you get both.

Will trinkets become non-trinkets and turn into "just" toys? I sure hope so since it makes more sense than an account-wide trinket. Plus it means we could raid while changing our form while having our appropriate trinket equipped... (ex. Orb of Deception and Time-Lost Figurine) :)

They need to add vanity clothing that has no stats, procs, or buffs to the toy box, or at least make it a related feature. If it takes some effort to get these items then we should be able to use them on any of our toons, it feels somewhat unrewarding in my opinion to get all the vanity gear from an in-game holiday or another source and only be able to wear or store them on a single character. I think the very appeal behind these items is to be able to relax, have fun, and show off on a whim. Unfortunately it is hard to do this if you are on an alt or have your stuff in void storage or the bank. Maybe it would even encourage some people to role play a little bit more often if they had easier access to this stuff.

I was wondering about how the cooldowns will work with items in the toy box. Will the cooldowns be account-wide or character specific?

For example I have Ai'-Li's Ski Mirror on 4 of my toons. Once I add it to the toy box will I only be able to use it once per hour on any of my toons, or will each toon have their own cooldown?

Something I have noticed with the toy box is the addition of many items to the seasonal world events.

Giving those of us who have had everything from them for a couple of years a reason to do them again. This actually kinda excites me. Other than the bosses that had potential loot for me I basically ignored the holiday world events once I had my violet proto drake.

What if it only can be used for people level 80+? i think that would be fair...

It's one of those things that you want on your alts. You don't want to play an alt and feel worse because of loss of items like this.

Finally a long awaited feature to free up bag space since Blizz doesn't seems very decided to give us bigger bags!

Now if only they were clever enough to implement the same kind of system with the mog items...
A new tab, called Wardrobe, and to add an item to it you still would need to obtain it first, but once you got it, you put it in the wardrobe. It becomes account wide, can't be sold or traded anymore, and can be used for mog (as long as it fit the mog rules)

Wouldn't that be amazing too?

I might be dim, or reading this too literally, but does this mean that at least one of your characters has to hold on to the toy in normal bag or bank space? I'd much rather no for sure before I delete all of my Puntable Marmots and then realize I needed to keep one.

Logging in after the patch for the first time, make sure you hop around to your different characters to get them added to the toy box. No need to click them, just logging in learned them for me.

Just to point out, that if you have more than 1 character, you need to log into each one and check bags and bank and learn it before it will show in your Toy Box.

Now need to search all my alts to up the toys!

The list is missing Mylune's Call from the molten front in the description area. Don't forget to pick that up when you are there for the mushroom chair. Also, Essence of the Breeze is not listed on the achievement (maybe it was and got removed). At any rate, as of this post it is not listed as a toy and does not go in the toybox or count for the achievement.

See i had a few alts mainly my sons and daughter's char's who had unopened winter veil presents from last year,but upon logging in after 6.0.2 i decided to open them and lo and behold they had this years presents in them.
