Build 21416: Pepe Artifact Calculator, Garrison Bonfire Bonanza, Darkmoon Updates, Overwatch Event
Following Wednesday's major alpha build, a small update has been deployed with some exciting changes.
Pepe is joining us in Legion as an
Artifact Weapon
whose traits unlock tons of new costumes! Players hyped about the Old Gods and the latest Hearthstone expansion will be intrigued to find the link between the Old Gods and Darkmoon Faire strengthened in this build as well. Many players will also rejoice to learn that the Garrison is set on fire.

explaining how to go about setting up a team for raid missions. All the concepts from that post will apply to
Blackrock Foundry
missions as well, but today I'm going to write about a new twist:
making a single team of 3 that can 100% all of the raid missions (and potentially, any 3-follower mission).
Here is a link
to one such team and their core abilities.
The purpose of this is mostly for fun, since it's likely to require more effort and resources than typical methods of reaching 100% on the raid missions (choosing teams of followers with the right ability counters). However, it does have the advantage of using up only 3 follower slots to handle all hard missions. So if freeing up space for more active followers is important to you, or you'd like to remove your
Barracks Level 3
, this could be very useful.
6.1.4 PTR: BlizzCon Is In-Game Event, Selfie Snapchat Integration, T.I.N.D.R Box and More!
Patch 6.1.4 data is hitting the PTR and we've highlighted the coolest data additions as well as what we could preview on the PTR this morning. Blizzard is on top of things with a preview of one of the new 6.1.4 features as well!
This patch has some long-requested Garrison improvements including buildings for each major racial faction, a way to convert your 615 tokens, and
Warmongering Gladiator's Mooncloth Robe
bringing a new dimension to the follower minigame! It also has some major social developments including Snapchat integration with the
S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera MkII
and expanding
Thousand Boat Bash
to be an in-game world event with items like

Treasure Hunters: Making Gold with your Garrison
Patch 6.1 added a few new traits to Garrison followers, including the new
Extreme Scavenger
trait. Similar to the
Scavenger
trait, this trait increases your yield of gold from Garrison Missions that reward gold. This guide will answer some basic questions about the
Extreme Scavenger
trait and make some recommendations about how to efficiently maximize your gold intake from your Garrison.
What does the trait do?
The
Extreme Scavenger
trait is an additive percentage increase to the base gold offered as a reward for a mission. In other words, if a Garrison mission rewards and you have 3 Treasure Hunters on the mission, you will get . If you already had a good team for gold missions, getting this trait on them will make those missions even more lucrative!
If you have a 100% chance to complete a mission and still have a spare follower slot, you can slot in a
Extreme Scavenger
follower who doesn't meet the requirements for the mission - they will still contribute their gold bonus.

? We're now tracking the region-wide daily quests in Draenor so you know what's up before logging in.
We're showing information on Apexis, Bounty, Challenge, Dungeon, Inn, Profession, and Weekly quests across several regions. We also have a daily quest reset countdown so you know how much time you have left to complete the dailies.
All you have to is visit Wowhead's front page and look at the "Today in Draenor" section on the right-hand side of the page. You can also visit a daily quest page in the database and it will tell you if it's active!
This feature is powered by the
Wowhead Client
, which also helps us keep our data up to date and provides you with extra toybox, follower, and heirloom information on the
Profiler
. The more players who use the Wowhead Client, the faster our Today in Draenor sidebar gets updated!

Battle.net profile page
, there's a new Followers tab:
Track which followers you've acquired and sort by source.
Filter your list of followers by what enemy threat they counter.
View their weapon/armor ilvls, level, quality, and counters.
Followers have customized tooltips showing their unique abilities and traits.
Mission Suggestions
Once your follower collection is on Wowhead, mission pages can recommend ideal followers based on your collection:
Visit any missions page (full list on
http://www.wowhead.com/missions
) and click on "My followers" to select a character.
Then click on Auto-Fill to see your recommended followers for the mission!
You can then modify the suggested followers--change their ilvl, abilities, and traits to see how their success chance changes.
You can also swap in other followers you've collected, even inactive ones, by clicking on the follower portraits in the calc.
The mission calculator also works for PTR missions and new 6.1 abilities like
Mentor

6.1 PTR: Garrison Updates - Invasions, Mission UI Improvements, Followers, Music
In the last week, we've datamined a ton of changes for 6.1 including improvements for your Garrison. In case some of them got lost in the flurry of information, we're highlighting the Garrison changes in great detail--music rewards, invasion loot, mission changes including bonus experience improvements, and more.

We've also been improving our Garrison database, and have a few more updates to share:
We've added a special "May Counter" follower filter for each mission threat. Each follower spec has a predetermined list of five abilities and this filter helps you visualize what specs are potentially good at countering what threats (example:
filter for followers who have the potential to counter both Danger Zones and Powerful Spell
). Filter for several threats at once to see what follower specs are great for knocking out multiple threats for a tricky mission. All you have to do is go to
http://www.wowhead.com/followers
and select the Abilities > May Counter filter from the menu.
Mission pages now allow you to add followers, abilities, and traits to calculate their in-game success chance. While optimized for live servers, the PTR site is updated for legendary followers, ilvl 670 follower cap, and
Master Assassin
. We have more exciting developments planned with the mission calculator and follower tracking.
There is a special subset of follower abilities like
Innervate
which are only obtainable if it appears when you filter for Timed Battle at the Inn. We've added them to relevant follower pages such as
Ilaniel Pine / Zen'tika
and made a special note that these are only obtainable via the Inn.

Follower Database Improvements: See All Potential Abilities for Followers, More Ability Filters
Our garrison
follower

ability
databases have received some improvements to better help you pick followers!
Followers
Follower pages now display all the potential abilities they can get, instead of just their default abilities. This should take some of the guesswork out of upgrading followers--the abilities aren't totally random.
Random abilities are now included (with default abilities) in the abilities listview at the bottom of the page.
Default abilities now show up in the follower tooltip at the top of the page.
This will help you plan out what followers to level, what threats they can potentially counter, what counters you should filter for at the Inn if you want a specific follower, and which is worth using
Follower Retraining Certificate
on.
A follower's potential pool of abilities is determined by their class and spec. This includes Inn followers, of which many do not have any default abilities. Using rogues as an example:
All Rogues can potentially have
Kick
,
Sap
, and/or
Sprint
.
However,
Marked for Death
can only be acquired by
Assassination
or
Combat
rogues.
Chain Heal
is an ability a rogue can never get.

Character Planner Updates: Garrison and Profession Guide Recommendations
The
Character Planner
has received some more Warlords of Draenor updates! It now recommends guides for garrison buildings and professions to help you navigate Warlords of Draenor!
The
Garrison Guide
section suggests buildings based on your past achievements, linking to Wowhead's garrison Guides for each building.
The
Profession
section suggests garrison and profession guides based on your current professions.
This is in addition to our general guide section which recommends guides and content based on your recent activity, as pulled from Battle.net.

Garrison Buildings
Barn: Increased the drop rates for
Savage Blood
from work orders.
Dwarven Bunker / War Mill: Work orders now award more
Iron Horde Scraps
and increased the drop rates for Follower Enhancements.
Gladiator's Sanctum: Characters can now accumulate up to a maximum of 5000
Broken Bones
at a time.
Salvage Yard: Salvage recovered from a Garrison Mission should now always contain an item.
Trading Post
: The Savage Friends achievement now only requires the character to become Exalted with 1 Draenor reputation (down from 3).
Trading Post
(Alliance): The Sha'tari Defense quartermaster now correctly offers the Sky Fry Battle Pet for sale at Revered reputation.
