Frost Death Knights, Guardian Druids and Vengeance Demon Hunters received a large number of changes.

Unholy Death Knights and Arms Warrior received a damage buff to many abilities.

Havoc Demon Hunters and Frost Mages received a buff to mastery.

Shadow Priests, Outlaw Rogues and Protection Warrior received some damage nerfs.

Essences have two effects on them, one major and one minor power.

Players may place an Essence in every unlocked Major or Minor slot in the Heart of Azeroth.
You'll unlock new Essence slots and access Stamina nodes as you level up your Heart of Azeroth.

Nazjatar intro Essential Empowerment

This will unlock your first Essence, Petrified Ebony Scale, the Rank 1 of Crucible of Flame.

At this point, the rest of the Essences will be earned from various activities in World of Warcraft and you'll get to pick and choose what to go for.

Every day, you can choose a Bodyguard to explore with. This Bodyguard will unlock 3 Daily Quests around the zone that award 100 Bodyguard experience each.
To continue the main story, you need to complete A Brief Respite / Down Into Nazjatar and eventually Friends In Need / Down But Not Out, so make sure you're doing your Bodyguard dailies.

Finishing the main story unlocks the Eternal Palace raid, which releases in two weeks.

Defeat a rare enemy for the Blueprint: Experimental Adventurer Augment blueprint to craft the Pocket-Sized Computation Device Trinket! Collect Punch Cards to customize the Trinket for yourself.

Acquire reputation for the new faction Rustbolt Resistance.

Complete the 3-4 daily quests from Visitors to Mechagon

Achieve the reputation level of Revered with Rustbolt Resistance and The Unshackled / Waveblade Ankoan

If you owned a Water Strider previously, you can check your mailbox for a free Anglers' Water Striders.

This allows all your mounts to walk on water when equipped. If you need to buy more, you can buy them from the Anglers for the price of

Replace your Water Strider on your bars with your favorite mount, which can now walk on water.

Saddlechute crafted by Tailoring; Equip in your mount equipment slot to install a emergency parachute that will deploy when dismounted high in the air.

Inflatable Mount Shoes crafted by Blacksmithing; Equip in your mount equipment slot to allow you to walk across water while mounted. Any damage will cancel the effect.

Comfortable Rider's Barding crafted by Leatherworking; Equip in your mount equipment slot to prevent you from being dazed while mounted.

Light-Step Hoofplates crafted by Enchanting: Equip in your Mount Equipment slot to increase your mount's ground speed by 20%. Does not stack with other mount speed effects.

The maximum skill level of Zandalari and Kul Tiran Professions is going up to 175 (Old cap was 150).

Most of the new patterns will require you to level up your skill level to this new cap in order to craft the best gear.

Many New Profession Recipes including upgraded Gems, Flasks, Potions.

New Recipes for upgraded Raid Gear (410/425/440 item level).

Scrapping Eternal Palace raid-level crafted gear only refunds some of the Expulsom spent to craft it.

Raid quality gear no longer requires materials from dungeons and raids, and is instead unlocked by completing the Abyssal Focus quests.

Raid quality gear now always comes with a gem socket.

Gathering professions can collect new materials on Nazjatar that will be required in most of the new profession recipes: Zin'anthid, Osmenite Ore, Dredged Leather, Gilded Seaweave.

Alchemy: Upgraded Potions and Flasks, New Potions.

Blacksmithing, Leatherworking, Tailoring: New Crafted Gear, Mount Equipment.

Enchanting: New and Upgraded Enchants.

Engineering: New Engineering Goggles and Gadgets like Blingtron 7000.

Inscription: New Contracts and Vantus Rune

Jewelcrafting: New Epic Gems

Artifact Power

Azerite values have been adjusted to allow players to get more of their total Artifact Power from the below sources.

Dungeons

Mythic Keystone Dungeon Weekly Cache now rewards 3800 AP (was 1900).

Island Expeditions

Heroic Island End-of-match now rewards 300 AP (was 225 AP).

Mythic and PvP Island End-of-match now rewards 450 AP (was 350 AP).

Island Weekly Quest now rewards 3500 AP (was 2500 AP).

Player versus Player

First Win of the Day Bonus now rewards 100% more AP.

2v2 Arena now rewards 240 AP (was 120 AP).

3v3 Arena now rewards 300 AP (was 150 AP).

Unrated Battlegrounds now rewards 300 AP (was 150 AP).

Epic Battlegrounds now rewards 600 AP (was 300 AP).

Rated Battlegrounds now rewards 1050 AP (was 525 AP).

Against Overwhelming Odds now rewards 2000 AP (was 1000 AP).

Siege of Boralus, Temple of Sethraliss, The Motherlode!!, Tol Dagor, and Waycrest Manor AP rewards have increased by 30%.

King's Rest and Shrine of the Storm AP rewards have increased by 60%.

Atal'Dazar, Freehold, and Underrot completed at +11 difficulty or greater now award 420 AP (was 290 AP).

Siege of Boralus, Temple of Sethraliss, The Motherlode!!, Tol Dagor, and Waycrest Manor completed at +11 difficulty or higher now award 540 AP (was 290 AP).

King's Rest and Shrine of the Storm completed at +11 difficulty or higher now award 660 AP (was 290 AP).

Atal'Dazar
Dungeon Scaling increased from 8% to 10% per level.
This makes a +10 in Rise of Azshara feel like a +12 in Patch 8.1.5.

Affix Combinations

Fortified, Bursting, Quaking has been replaced by Fortified, Bursting, Volcanic

Priestess Alun'za

Gilded Claws damage bonus increased to 300% (was 150%) but duration reduced to 6 seconds (was 12 seconds).
Corrupted Gold damage increased by ~544%,
Molten Gold damage increased by ~667%.
Tainted Blood damage increased by ~685%.

Dazar'ai Colossus

Gathered Souls no longer grants healing on an ally death and the damage bonus per stack reduced to 10% (was 25%).

Reanimated Honor Guard

Rending Maul periodic damage decreased by ~23%

Freehold

Timer reduced to 33 minutes (was 36 minutes)

King's Rest

Enemy Forces Requirement increased to 246 (was 224).
Animated Guardian count increased to 8 points (was 5).

The Golden Serpent

Spit Gold damage reduced by 25%.

Shrine of the Storm

Enemy Forces Requirement increased to 695 points (was 662)
Deepsea Ritualist count increased to 12 points (was 10).
Living Current count increased to 18 points (was 13).
Windspeaker Heldis, Runecarver Sorn, Guardian Elemental points increased to 36 (was 18).
Abyssal Eel count decreased to 2 points (was 3).

Gale Winds damage reduced by 28.6%.

Temple of Sethraliss

Merektha
A Knot of Snakes damage reduced by 50%.

The MOTHERLODE!!!

Mind Lash debuff now can be Magic dispelled.
Energy Lash will not be applied unless the channel is completed.

Echo Blade damage reduced by ~53%.

Enemy Forces Requirement increased to 400 points (was 348)

Heavy Cannons now have an Energy Bar of 100
Each Cannon Blast costs 20 Energy to use.

Waycrest Manor

Enemy Forces Requirement increased to 303 (was 289).
Gorestained Piglet count increased to 4 points (was 0).
Matron Alma count increased to 14 points (was 8).

Underrot

Elder Leaxa
Blood Bolt base damage buffed by 25%.
Fixed a bug that makes Blood Bolt scale improperly with key level. (JdotB)
These changes result in a combined ~67% nerf to Blood Bolt damage in Mythic Keystones.
