Nice, thanks!
"Dragonflight has been in development since before Shadowlands shipped, and has had the full development cycle that any WoW expansion had in the past."Looks like all the pandemic/remote work/"not working while the company fix their stuff" problems are out of the equation now. Those nerver happened. Ok then.
So proud of the Wow Team. They definitely are doing their best with this expansion and if they feel comfortable with the end of the year date in December or before then I trust them. I have never once lost faith in the Wow team to deliver great content that is fun and engaging. Now that Alpha has started and from the sound of things they have a solid game plan for testing I wish them all the best and looking forward to playing the new expansion later this year :) Happy to be an adventurer of Azeroth!
Good to hear all the zones are already in a testing state and they're just cycling them one at a time for focused testing. That's what I hoped would happen when they announced the release date.
They done a good job with the UI, at least no more addon for the bars, the player/targetframe... wish they would get some more love.
Ion is really well-spoken, and I love interviews like this that are packed with insights. Big fan, more like this.
Profession bag sounds great! Now let's make it account wide so I don't have to use add-ons to bulk mail mats around. It's 2022 for crying out loud.
"If you look at the endgame of Shadowaldns today,..." got a bit carried away with the name here
any hero with alpha ask for a rework of the blue dragon form from cata as mount, please
This might be one of the best interviews I’ve seen in a long time. They actually asked the things we want to know and Ion actually gave some decent answers. (Though PI still kinda sus)Well done guys.
So ions an idiot who has convinced his guild priest he should have PI so they're leaving it in. Dudes not got a clue about the game.
Profs parts bag slot? Fantastic! I wonder if this will hold older prof stuff, too or just items from the new DL profs system?
Looking at the alpha confirms my fear regarding the expansion. WoW became a seasonal game and the developers are fine with it. Get to max level, grind dungeons and eventually m+ and raid. After 2 months stop playing and return when next patch hits. Unlock the new zone, grind m+ and the new raid and leave the game after 2 months. This really seems like how 9.1 and Korthia played out...content = m+ & raid. At least we got no chores so we can complete our patch goals easier.
This is how i picture dragon riding...https://youtu.be/jbo5DjSt-Xw?t=7
