JC seems just like back in wotlk. I like it?
Cauldron:
Is Alvin the Anvil actually a player usable anvil?
OK. These may be small things to some but these profession updates give me more hope for DF than anything else. For example naming the gems after all the dragons. It's cheesy and funny yet I can't think of a more thematic style of names. Ysemerald is a real winner. But everything from the equip effects, to the toys, to jewelcrafting having some thought put in, is really really important. It actually feels like .. dare I say it.. Warcraft. This is all really great.I hope Blizzard has learned they can't just put all the cool effects on Engineering, and I feel sorry for all the people who have chosen engi/alch because it's "best" and then proceeded to be incapable of making gold for all of SL. In DF you might have to change your ways, metagamers.. :)
Love the look of these items here, itemisation for the first tier seems like it will be fairly interesting!Very much hoping they bring back epic engineering goggles in one way or another - seems a shame to pass up on one of the most historically relevant types of crafted gear now that they're trying to reintroduce relevancy to crafting!
Some profession will still be useless once you get gear, they really need to give all profession thing that make them usefull in the long run beside gear.
Provided there is some method to put gem slots into our gear, maybe as one of those optional reagents I keep hearing about, Jewelcrafting is looking kind of nice. I like the synergy of using my jewels to enhance my trinket and necklace. Personalized power and that just like the alchemists with their stones.Even without that it's still going to be the best profession in the game simply because it has figurines that boost fishing!
Really wish they'd make drums give 25% haste again, so you aren't forced to have a hunter/mage/shaman in your group comp if you want to somewhat seriously push high m+ keys.
Just a note. You listed "Goblin Glider and Goblin Glider." You probably meant the Nitros :DAny Engineer worth their salt should be using these two, lol
So, why is the LW items not have Intellect on them as well? Last time I checked shamans wear mail and are intellect based as well as agility. Um, did I miss something blizz?
So nothing new to bring to the table. More of the same, just up to date. By the look of it, same professions will make money, same wont, per usual. Not even a lot of new things to show either. Would have expected a real bunch of things for professions considering the rework, but apart from the quality system and some %^&*s here and there, nothing will change.
I believe in earlier post about professions mentioned luck as a stat. Seems to me the luck ring is crafting equipment. Even more so since it is account-bound allowing you to mail it to alts for crafting and back to your main afterwards.
So Inscriptionists get the darkmoon cards, which have an RNG chance to proc a card we may or may not need for a deck? That's it? And oh missives. WHich is some new crap we won't be able to get rid of, which tells me that gear will need missives again. Or maybe legendaries again. Hard to tell, all the streamers you invited to alpha have been screwing around with the toon screen making their dragon.
