A perfect homage to the Fairy Fountains.
btw the bluepost psa is not a hint or a tip, it just says if u want to know how you WOULD get to find the key (because you weren't supposed to find it randomly) then check the lake constelation because we put effort into it etc etc
This was my first thought when I saw the location the other day. I did that quest chain multiple times pre-Cataclysm so it's kind of seared into my brain.
I'll come back in 4 to 6 weeks after all of the clues and tidbits have been unlocked one by one. No reason to invest brain power into what is almost certainly a time gated secret that's not available right now.
world of puzzlecraft. This is getting ridicilous and annoying. They are making content for bunch of people in a discord group. Noone cares.
if only they cared about the game and its bugs as much as this bullcrap
Im not sure if the reason why blizzard couldn't do anything with linken and the mario bros parody because of nintendo but it's good they brought him back into the fold.
i still have Linken's boomerang in one of my characters' banks.
What the 'ook, with this it feels like we get double up on christmas ingame this year.
Someone posted in /1 last week the Peculiar Gem in chat asking what is it used for , so my guess is that the gem is first and the key is second, might look into it.
noticed that too there is something distracting in the water, but kept focusing on my quest, its funny the dev has to hint ^^i love secrets. its like a bit of spice in the daily wow soup.
So, I was trying to find the next clue to the gem. I had a few thoughts, but seemed to lead to dead ends, but I wasn't thorough.Because of Un'goro having the key, there is a waygate there that goes to Scholazar. Maybe the points of the constellation mean something as Scholazar is also a crater. So is the Coldarra in Borean Tundra. I know we need a gem, and I remembered that there are 2 gems in the eyes of the skeleton near the wrecked ship. It's part of the Gorlock questline.Nothing happened when I went to either eye. I tried it dead, too, similar to the Kodo graveyard in Desolace. Still nothing. There is a 3rd waygate though in Deepholm, and I didn't find anything there around the Master Waygate. That was supposed to lead to the Maker's Terrace in Uldum, but the Maker's Terrace is technically in Uldaman while Terrace of the Makers is Uldum.I also tried Old Hillsbrad Foothills, listening to Mograine reveal the crystal that created the Ashbringer. Nothing there. The thing about this item is that it's a gem, not a crystal. Un'goro and Scholazar have crystals around them, not gems. The gem was already cut, hence fitting into the socket of the key. So at some point they were separated. The clue could be in another secret that we overlooked. Maybe it has to do with Ratts and being from Vol'dun, which is also a desert (like Tanaris and Uldum), perhaps there's a connection. It also could be a clue that's not available yet. This event has a couple months still.
