Defeat the first boss

After the first boss, head down the stairs to the right and hidden in the corner to your right is Questionable Trader.

Buy the Fraudulent Credentials neck from Questionable Trader on the last page.

Head to Au'Myza's Oasis and complete the trading event to learn the password and enter.

Talk to Xy'darid and buy the item that he's selling.
One person in your group should pick up the item and deliver it to the current Broker, while the rest of the party prevents them from being killed by the trash.
Each of the Brokers accepts a different type of item. For example, Denathrius' Private Diary should be delivered to Xy'kitaab, as he wants Rare Texts.
Once you've traded 3 times, the final Broker will give you to password to enter!
Inside Au'Myza's Oasis, don't head to the stage. Instead talk with Au'manal who will ask you to exchange your Fraudulent Credentials for Passably-Forged Credentials.
With your new neck in hand, grab the new quest Tazavesh: A Hard Bargain and you're now ready to start Hard Mode!

The First Move

Chapter 1, Battle of Ardenweald, requires completion of Chapter 2 of the 9.0 Covenant Campaign. Chapter 4 (The Last Sigil) and beyond require full completion of the 9.0 Covenant Campaign. As completing all Covenant Campaign storylines is also part of the Veilstrider achievement (via Dead Men Tell Some Tales), you should naturally reach the start point for the entirety of 9.1 as you progress through the achievement grind.

All Chapters after Chapter 3 have a Renown requirement. with the last chapter, What Lies Ahead, requiring Renown 58. Once again, completing Renown cap on all covenants is part of the Veilstrider achievement (via Re-Re-Re-Renowned), so you should reach this requirement naturally while working on the meta achievement.

Avenge Me! - Slay an elite enemy with 10 stacks of Vengeance while the Torment Avenger is active in Torghast, Tower of the Damned.

This achievement is relatively simple to do - Locate an Elite mob near a bunch of non-Elite minor mobs like Mawrat, AOE the mobs down and then kill the elite. Lowering the Elite's health before you gather the mobs is also a good idea, but be careful with rising stacks of Unnatural Power if you take too long to kill the elite.

No Doubt - Defeat a boss without ever killing or interrupting any of the Mawsworn Doubtcaller's spells while the Torment Backup is active during a single run in Torghast, Tower of the Damned.

This torment makes a Mawsworn Doubtcaller spawn together with the final boss of the wing. This one is relatively easy - Try to not pick up any Anima Powers that can cleave onto the Doubtcaller, and just focus DPS on the main boss. Do not CC the Doubtcaller, as CCing them counts as an interrupt, and will fail the achievement.

Rampage - Maintain maximum stacks of Rampaging for 30 consecutive seconds while the Blessing Rampage is active in Torghast, Tower of the Damned.

This is the only achievement in Master of Torment that uses a Blessing instead of a Torment, so make sure you have points on the Blessing of the Ancients Box of Many things talent before attempting this achievement.

This achievement is also very easy - Simply kill 10 enemies to quickly max stack the Rampaging buff from the Blessing, and then delay your next kills a bit so you maintain the blessing for 10 seconds. After you earn 10 stacks, you will need to kill one enemy in the next 20 seconds to gain the extra stack. The achievement will be awarded after either completing the floor or after the Rampaging buff falls off after the 30s of stacking, whichever happens first.

Crowd Pleaser - Be under the effects of Claustrophobia for 30 consecutive seconds while the Torment Claustrophobic is active in Torghast, Tower of the Damned.

This achievement is also very easy once you find the Torment active - Simply find 5 minor mobs like Mawrats, aggro them, and let they beat you for 30 seconds without damaging them. The achievement will pop up once you reach 30 seconds with the debuffs buffed with Claustrophobia. It is recommended to use a more defensive build or even go into tank/healing specs (if your class has one), just so you can more easily survive this.

Like for example "Dead Men Tell Some Tales" (complete the Covenant Campaigns), if I have Necrolord Campaign on char A, and the other 3 on Char B will i get the acheivement?

This is a great guide.
I have just started doing the necrolord and ravendreth "covenant activity" thingy (stitching and court) a few weeks ago, and jesus - the necrolord one has got to be the absolute worst.
so much grind and rng involved in it, it's absolutely disgusting... the quests you get once per week aren't even deterministic in nature, so the same npc can give the same quest over and over again (I have gotten the same one from an npc with 5 variants for 3 weeks straight...) and the superior parts? jeez.... very disappointing how grindy it is.

For easy completion of "Fake It 'Til You Make It", you can actually talk to the broker at the entrance who can teleport you to Stormheim, and you end up only needing to do the last 3 bosses. This is much faster than doing the full instance in its entirety.

Some achievements are, thankfully, doable on more than one characters (specially the Covenant ones) as they are really time consuming. For people that returned more recently, those could be the more tedious to do, so schedule and play smart.

For the Crowd Pleaser one in Torghast, you actually don't need to attack any mob, you can use invisibility (Hunters, rogues and druids are great for this) and park your toon near a pack of mobs, preferably stationary, and wait.

No Doubt is made even easier if you acquire the Anima power that shrouds you making it impossible for casters to target you from outside of the area around you (simply pull the boss away from the extra add and kill it without issues. The add will stand still doing nothing).

The Jailer's Gauntlet one, some classes/specs do have an easier time, like Hunters (Stacking Aspect of the Turtle anima, along with the 2 Feign Death ones, one resetting ALL aspects, the other reducing its CD by 15s), Warrior (specially Venthyr Arms, this one I used to get Twisting corridors layer 8 long time ago) or any other.

While doing the Torghast runs, specially for the Box of Many Things, a tip I'd give is to use the excess Cinders you get per run on alts (buying the chest that contains a random, unknown Legendary power, for example. I did this and currently I'm only missing some Warlock ones, all the other classes have all but the covenant ones, from renown 48, which are free anyway).

A tip for the Enlightened rep is to maintain the Inscription contract active all times on the character doing it, and try and do the WQs from the other SL zones too (mostly from the Callings quests, or when we have the WQ weekly event). At least, everyday, do the 3 World Quests in there (as each give 125 rep, but pay attention as 2 reset at normal times, and 1 resets 12h later/before).

Cyphers of the First Ones is made easier by unlocking the quests with the Jiro, and doing the short questline with some Jiro (you can see the quest pop up on the map a bit northeast from the Firim Hideout area). After the questline, the Jiro will spawn near Firim's cave entrance, one of them sells a BoA item that grants a permanent buff of +50% to ALL cypher drops (for example, Antros, the WB, will drop from 80 cyphers to 120 cyphers, a 50% increase, same with treasures, rares, etc). This questline is also required if you want 'cypher weapons' to drop/come from rares, treasures and WQs along with all the others.

Jailer's Personal Stash is 'easy' too if you're doing it on an Engineer, just head to Korthia to the cave with the rift, use it and while in the Rift, pop the Shadowlands Wormhole and choose 'Maw' in the options. You'll appear right near the Night Fae questing area, without the Night Fae attack.

Better to Be Lucky than Dead could be awful if 'no one is after those 3 4-player-summonable rares'. I'd totally recommend to try to get this, and the item the 3 rares drop that you converge into the Calling for Exos. Post-SL this could be a pain in the arse to get, as it's the only way to spawn Exos, even you manage to get on the top of the altar of perdition area.

This achievement does not require the guests to be pampered in any way, they just need to be invited to the Ember Court, so you can just start the Ember Court with them and immediately end the festivities after the court starts.

I just started the Court, waited for the intro timer to expire and left the Ember Court before it finished and didn't get the credit for the four invitees that were there.

The write-up for Pursuing Loyalty is incorrect. The minimum Path of Ascension rank need is 2, not 3.

I had completed the raiding achievements (can be done in LFR), had the mushroom dude to about mid-honored (this will take a while, but my main is Night Fae - Darkmoon rep bonus does work), a tier 3 sanctum upgrade, and the open world achievements except Synth-fived and The Enlightened (about mid-honored again) prior to this patch, but everything else I completed in about 4 weeks (to give people an idea of how quickly this can be completed).

Especially right now with the 50% buff, it was really easy to get 3 other alts to 60 and just work on the Shadowlands Dilettante simultaneously. The hardest part of that one was by far the Abominable Stitching stuff, and only because there is just so much of it to do. I was either lucky, ~~or they adjusted it to cycles~~, but I managed to get most of the quests I needed each week without any overlap except two. I also worked in tandem to upgrade my mission table every chance I got to level 8 so that I could start receiving the additional stitched parts. In the downtime of that, I would switch back and forth quickly to a new covenant then back in Oribos to reset the mission board until I got another one, which is how I was able to do that in 4 weeks. Actually the worst part of this was getting the random drop off of Indomitable Schmitd and Nerissa Heartless - I got the mount before I got either part. I will note that it requires a level 5 unlock and that I was able to funnel anima to this character from my other characters, so this may add additional time if you don't have a lot already.

Edit: The last two quests I needed should have been this week, but didn't get them, so scratch the cycle theory.

Be Our Guest I would have had in 4 weeks, but I messed up one of the parties and didn't get as much reputation as I needed to unlock Choofa (needs honored), so I'll have to get him next week.

The Torghast stuff wasn't as bad as I thought, but I got lucky and did most of it during the Beasts of Prodigum Torghast Event. Looks like the next one is in October, so I don't know how helpful that is, but taking Horgul and turning him into a bomb made it a cakewalk. The layer 4 gauntlet was the harder part for me.

I did all of the mythic dungeons in 1-2 days, just did them all on 0. Fake It 'Til You Make it is also a super easy faceroll now as well - only one person needs the necklace.

Hope this helps someone who is freaking out about the amount of time this will take.

THe only thing I need to finish this achievement is entire thing is the Necrolord part of Shadowlands DIlettante and I just need three quests from the constucts (one from Guillotine, one from Sabrina, and one from Mama Tomalin). Will be fairly annoyed if I miss out on the meta if I get bad RNG next week :(

I was reminded of this achievement 4 days before the expansion ends. Spend a couple of hours finishing my Abomination Factory accessory collection and onto the Maw rare hunting. One of the rare had 1.5 hours respawn timer, so I wait until the next day to snipe him.

Note for those who wish to complete the new form of this achievement that was just released with Dragonflight patch 10.2.6:

You can queue up for the LFR versions of the raids via the NPC (Ta'elfar <Trader of Histories>) in Oribos. You can queue solo or as a group.

Tower Range is easy, just takes a long time and is pretty boring. Especially Twisting Corridors but that one you can just run through, you don't need to collect everything and kill everything, just run to the next layer.

Anyone thinking of doing this huge meta-achievement because they like the look of the mount and want to use it regularly on one of their characters should be aware that, when flying, it leaves a very annoying fart-trail of thick black smoke behind it*

Most people will probably be fine with this but for me it means I will probably never actually use it for normal flight (I'm hoping that the effect may be mitigated by the higher speed of dragonriding/dynamic flight/skyriding but only 11.0 will tell).

*for comparison, the fart-cloud is much, much worse than the similar smoke-effect on the rogue Class Hall crow mounts from Legion.

For anyone thinking about working on this one be aware that you might get roadblocked on some Torghast achievements (unless you are lucky enough to have those already completed) like Avenge Me! or Rampage (broken for almost 2 months now).

It would be awesome if those were either fixed or swapped for other achievements because indeed, this mount is gorgeous and it's very frustrating to go through all that grinding only to find out you cannot get it because you are stuck on some game bugs.

On the easiest achievements that you can accomplish in minutes.

I mean, you could already have it, fly with it and spread some black farts.

But no.

No mount for you.
