At first glance it doesn't appear possible to solo on heroic/mythic to try and obtain the mount. The 2nd phase mechanic does not work with only 1 player in the zone leaving So'leah permanently with Power Overwhelming. The truth is this IS soloable as the buff *only* reduces damage taken by 99%. Thus it will take 100x longer to kill him and he is effectively a mob with 100m HP.

At first I maintained my rotation to try and burn him down but quickly opted to autoattack in cat form without paying attention to wow. From my rough estimate while making breakfast, I was reducing his hp by about 1% every minute. I didn't have to worry about damage/healing as I was speced into Well-Honed Instincts. His Hyperlight Jolt only occasionally hit me at level 70 so the stacks fell off on their own.

Here is a decent solo strategy for monks looking to kill this boss. Go Windwalker, make sure you have Fatal Flying Guillotine and Forbidden Technique talented. Meridian Strikes will also make it slightly faster.

Don't kill the mobs in the surrounding area, damage her until shes in her 99% damage reduction phase. Pull mobs over, and Touch of Death them next to her, it'll hit her for normal damage. If the mobs are spaced out a bit, which you can do with Ring of Peace, Forbidden Technique will let you get two Touch of Deaths out in one go. Then simply wait for Touch of Death to come off cooldown, or if you have Meridian Strikes just spam abilities. When it's back up do it again, and obviously use Touch of Death on the boss itself when you can. With this strategy, my boss fight took only 5 minutes. Can probably be done quicker. Goodluck o/

This is simply the perfect test dummy lol.

It's also a test of your will, to see how bad you want this mount.

But trust me, it's well worth it.

I completed this today on a 70 Fury Warrior item lvl 390.
I was ACTIVELY pounding everything I got on her, so bear in mind that. Took me 35 minutes to bring her down. Mount dropped, happy trails.

You simply can't die, so you could go watch a movie and leave it on auto-attack, or go ham and get it done relatively quick.

In any case, it was fun, and I finally have the mount. :)

Come on Blizzard change the last fight for solo players

Take with you just one person level 60+ just let him die at begin of the fight, when another person dead and you entered phase two, a red arrow from the dead person will target you, stand behind orb and it will hit and destroy it, do that for all five orbs, you can destroy two orbs with one hit if u line it with two orbs good.

Just did this fight on Heroic as a 390 Havoc Demon Hunter,
It took me 89 minutes 37 seconds semi AFK.
So'leah cast 880 Hyperlight bolts.
I did not get the mount.
I will not be doing this solo again until they fix this to be soloable in less than 5 minutes.

took me 32 minutes on a hunter and my pets wow and no mount. come on blizzard this is bonkers.

Overview – So'leah calls on assassins and uses powerful broker magic to assault players until she can unlock the artifact's power and recklessly wield it with devastating effect.

  [Collapsing Star] inflicts substantial damage to all party members when discharged.

Stage One: Final Preparations

Hyperlight Spark – So'leah creates a Hyperlight Spark that jumps between all players, inflicting 16622 Arcane damage.
Collapsing Star – So'leah forms an orb containing 4 charges of Collapsing Energy that persists for 30 sec. Each time a player comes into contact with the Collapsing Star it consumes a charge to apply Collapsing Energy to all players, inflicting 4 Arcane damage every 1 sec for 3 sec.
All remaining charges of Collapsing Energy are consumed when the Collapsing Star expires.
Summon Assassins – So'leah summons elite assassins to assist her.
- So' Cartel Assassin – Highly mobile elite assassins.
  - Shuriken Blitz – The Assassin quickly repositions and readies a volley of shurikens. Inflicts 55406 Physical damage to all players and causes them to bleed, inflicting an additional 29550 Physical damage every 1 sec for 10 sec.

Stage Two: Power Overwhelming

At 40% health remaining So'leah draws her relics into the arena to transform herself.

Power Overwhelming – So'leah links herself to the relics, drawing upon their power to reduce all damage taken by 99% while linked.
Striking a relic with Hyperlight Jolt disrupts its link with So'leah.
Hyperlight Jolt – So'leah unleashes a blast of energy through all players inflicting 55406 Arcane damage in a line between each player and increasing damage taken from Hyperlight Jolt by 25% for 15 sec.
Striking a relic with the blast disrupts its link with So'leah.
Collapsing Star – So'leah forms an orb containing 4 charges of Collapsing Energy that persists for 30 sec. Each time a player comes into contact with the Collapsing Star it consumes a charge to apply Collapsing Energy to all players, inflicting 4 Arcane damage every 1 sec for 3 sec.
All remaining charges of Collapsing Energy are consumed when the Collapsing Star expires.
Energy Fragmentation – So'leah triggers a violent reaction in a relic, releasing energy fragments in several directions. Players caught in the path of an energy fragment are knocked away and suffer 25 Arcane damage and an additional 8 Arcane damage every 2 sec for 6 sec.
Hyperlight Nova – So'leah and the relics erupt, inflicting 184685 Arcane damage to players within 14 yds.
