Thundercallers will debuff a random player (usually not the tank) with Thunderstrike

Thunderstrike draws a small circle around the affected player

After 3 seconds, the debuffed player will deal heavy damage to themselves and any other players within the area of effect

The targeted player should move away from others, and other players should be careful not to step into another player's Thunderstrike

The Storm Drake will cast Crackling Storm, creating a small vortex near a random player's position

The vortex travels slowly and erratically, but does not wander far from where it spawned

Players within 9 yards of the Crackling Storm vortex will take moderate damage every 2 seconds

Nearby players should move away from the Crackling Storm's location before it spawns, and pay attention to its movement

Storm Drake will also use Lightning Breath occasionally, aimed at the tank

This is a cone attack, so tanks should keep Storm Drake faced away from the party, and players should not be in front of the Drake

Hymdall Tips & StrategyIn Patch 7.2, Hymdall will always summon 3 drakes after Horn of Valor. In addition more Tornadoes will spawn.HymdallHorn of Valor

Horn of Valor is used shortly into the fight, and again approximately every 40-45 seconds

Horn of Valor deals heavy party-wide damage

Storm Drakes respond to the cast and will fly over the bridge Hymdall is guarding

The Drakes may approach from the left or right side, and may choose to fly over the front, center, or back section of Hymdall's bridge

Storm Drakes use Storm Breath as they fly over the bridge, blanketing that section with a Static Field that deals heavy damage to players within it

Hymdall will always summon 3 Drakes after casting Horn of Valor

Each Drake summoned by a specific instance of Horn of Valor will fly over a different part of the bridge

Storm Drakes in the same "set" will never fly over the same part of the bridge

So for example, if the first Storm Drake of a "set" flies over the center, the second and third Storm Drakes cannot choose the center section

Hymdall will throw a spinning blade to the player's location

The target and location are chosen at the start of the Dancing Blade cast

Players who are already moving, or who have a movement ability like Blink or Gust of Wind, can dodge the attack entirely

Players who do not move quickly will take the initial hit of Dancing Blade damage and be knocked away

Dancing Blades persist for about 30 seconds, and will deal heavy damage to players in its area of effect

Ranged DPS and healers should stand at the edges of the room so that Dancing Blade will not be in the way of Horn of Valor/Storm Drake movement

Bloodletting Sweep

All players struck by Bloodletting Sweep take heavy damage and are afflicted with a bleed

The bleed debuff also reduces incoming healing by 25%

Non-tanks should take care to stay behind Hymdall or at a long range, to avoid being struck by Bloodletting Sweep

Tanks should be sure to have Active Mitigation up when Hymdall casts Bloodletting Sweep, to help survive its damage

Bloodletting Sweep

Move Hymdall away from Dancing Blades so melee do not take damage from it

Use a cooldown or Active Mitigation to reduce the damage from Bloodletting Sweep

After Hymdall casts Horn of Valor, look for the approaching Storm Drakes, and move Hymdall so a safe location

Melee DPS should be sure to stay behind Hymdall to avoid taking Bloodletting Sweep damage

Ranged DPS should spread out near the edges of the encounter area to avoid dropping Dancing Blade on other players

Dancing Blade can be dodged if the targeted player runs, or uses a movement ability such as Blink, as soon as the indicator graphic appears

After Hymdall casts Horn of Valor, look for the approaching Storm Drakes, and move to a safe location

The tank will require heavy healing, especially after taking a Bloodletting Sweep

Quickly top up players struck by Dancing Blade, so the party-wide Horn of Valor damage is not fatal

Spread out near the edges of the encounter area to avoid dropping Dancing Blade on other players

Dancing Blade can be dodged if the targeted player runs, or uses a movement ability such as Blink or Gust of Wind, as soon as Hymdall targets them

After Hymdall casts Horn of Valor, look for the approaching Storm Drakes, and move to a safe location

The Sentinel casts Charged Pulse approximately every 15 seconds, knocking back and heavily damaging players within 15 yards

Ranged DPS/healers should stay further than 15 yards from these enemies, and tanks/melee DPS should position so that the knockback does not pull additional mobs

Sentinels also cast Crackle very frequently, which deals heavy damage to players standing in its path

The Sentinel will stop and face a player while casting Crackle; watch his direction to preemptively move out of the Crackle line

Sentinels do not move while casting Crackle, so even the targeted player can avoid taking any damage if they react quickly

At 30% health, the Sentinel will gain Protective Light, absorbing a large amount of incoming damage

Spells such as Purge, Dispel Magic, or Spellsteal can be used to remove the shield

Mythic DifficultySentinel's WatchSentinel's WatchRune of Healing

Valarjar Mystic heals its allies with Healing Light, a HoT, or with Rune of Healing, a ground-based AoE heal

Players should interrupt Healing Light (or dispel it from affected enemies); Rune of Healing can be interrupted, or tanks can drag the enemies out of its effect

Valarjar Runecarver casts Shattered Rune at random enemies for extremely heavy damage; this should be interrupted

The Runecarver will also channel Etch on a player for heavy DoT damage; this can be interrupted, or the healer can dispel the effect from the targeted player to break the channel

Valarjar Marksman deals heavy damage to its highest-threat target with Snap Shot, and will leap away from the party with Leap to Safety

Melee DPS should not chase the Marksman after Leap to Safety, to avoid pulling additional mobs in the tight hallways

The Marksman will occasionally cast Penetrating Shot, which deals extremely heavy damage to players standing in its path

Players should note the direction the Marksman is facing while casting Penetrating Shot and move to avoid being hit

Healing LightHoly RadianceHealing Light

Be patient and pull the Sentinels one at a time, back down the staircase if necessary to avoid aggroing additional packs

Hug the wall as you travel down the hallways to cut down on unnecessary trash pulls

Ranged DPS should spread out to avoid multiple players taking damage from the Thundercallers' Thunderstrike; it is safe to jump on top of the tables

The Mug of Mead items on the tables can be clicked on, granting players a Mug of Mead extra action button

Throwing the Mug of Mead on a group of enemies will cause them to briefly fight one another, so players can slip past

The enemies are immune to player damage while under the Mug of Mead effect

Mug of Mead only lasts 20 seconds, so it is not a permanent trash-skipping strategy, but it can help prevent accidentally pulling too many enemies at once

Valarjar Shieldmaiden

Valarjar Shieldmaiden attacks the tank with Breach Armor, which can stack quickly with multiple Shieldmaiden mobs

Shieldmaidens' Mortal Hew is a cone attack that debuffs all players hit by it with 20% reduced incoming healing

Tanks should be careful not to spin the Shieldmaidens, and the rest of the party should stay behind the enemies to avoid being hit by Mortal Hew

Shieldmaidens deal heavy tank damage, so healers and tanks should be prepared to use cooldowns if necessary

Cleansing FlamesValarjar Purifier

The Valarjar Purifier repeatedly casts Cleansing Flames, casting a barrage of holy bolts at its target's location

These bolts track the target, so it is very difficult to dodge them, and deal moderate AoE damage on each hit

If the party is stacked or if the Cleansing Flames targets a melee player, this can be extremely dangerous

Players can interrupt Cleansing Flames, but it happens too frequently for many groups to get every cast

If interrupts are not available, the target of Cleansing Flames must kite the attacks away from the party, and may need to use a personal damage-reduction CD or movement-speed effect

Single-target CC such as Hex or Polymorph are very effective on the Purifier since he is up on a ledge and unlikely to be accidentally broken out of the effect

Valarjar Aspirant

The Aspirant will begin with Valkyra's Advance, leaping to a random target and dealing heavy AoE damage to players within 5 yards of impact

Ranged DPS/healers should spread out to avoid spreading the damage from Valkyra's Advance

A few seconds after leaping, the Aspirant will begin to cast Blast of Light

Players should note the direction the Aspirant is facing and move out of the path of Blast of Light to avoid taking potentially fatal damage

The Aspirant should be players' primary target in this trash pack

Olmyr the EnlightenedSolstenSanctifySanctify

He frequently casts Searing Light at a random player, dealing moderate Holy damage

This can, and should, be interrupted

Shortly into the fight and every 30 seconds thereafter, Olmyr will channel Sanctify

Sanctify creates bolts of holy light that radiate out from Olmyr and deal heavy damage to players standing in their path

Melee DPS and the tank are at the greatest risk of being struck, as the bolts are most dense at melee range

If necessary, stop DPSing and simply dodge the bolts to stay alive

Eye of the StormEye of the StormEye of the Storm

Shortly into the fight and every 30 seconds thereafter, Solsten will channel Eye of the Storm

This creates a lightning storm that deals heavy Nature damage to all players every 1.5 seconds

However, Solsten will create a protective bubble near a player before Eye of the Storm begins

Players standing under this bubble take reduced nature damage due to the Eye of the Storm debuff

Hyrja Tips & StrategyHyrja

Stacks of the Mystic Empowerment buff accumulate every 4 seconds, increasing the damage Hyrja deals with the mystic's abilities

To reset stacks, the tank must move Hyrja across the room so that she is closer to the other mystic

This will drop her current Mystic Empowerment stacks and she will begin gaining the other mystic's Mystic Empowerment buff

A good guideline is to cause these "phase changes" about every 30 seconds, or after she has cast her "ultimate" ability (Eye of the Storm/Sanctify)

Mystic Empowerment: ThunderArcing BoltEye of the StormMystic Empowerment: Thunder

Arcing Bolt targets a random player, dealing heavy Nature damage, and chaining to other players nearby

It is important to avoid chaining Arcing Bolt, so ranged DPS and the healer should spread out

If Hyrja targets the tank or a melee DPS, Arcing Bolt is very likely to chain, so the healer must be ready

Eye of the Storm deals heavy Nature damage to all players not beneath the Eye of the Storm bubble, and light damage to players inside the bubble

The party should collapse under the bubble during Eye of the Storm

Hyrja will not use Arcing Bolt during Eye of the Storm, but may use it immediately after, so players should spread out quickly as Eye of the Storm ends

Expel LightMystic Empowerment: HolySanctifyExpel LightMystic Empowerment: Holy

Expel Light is a new ability that debuffs a random target for 3 seconds

When the debuff expires, it deals heavy damage to the targeted player and all players within 8 yards

Players should spread out during this phase to avoid spreading Expel Light damage and to reduce movement

If Hyrja has high stacks of Mystic Empowerment: Holy, targeted players may wish to use personal damage-reduction cooldowns to mitigate Expel Light's damage

When Hyrja casts Sanctify, players must dodge the bolts of light

Melee DPS and tanks are automatically knocked back when Hyrja's Sanctify cast begins, but must still exercise caution in dodging

Shield of LightShield of Light

Shield of Light deals extremely heavy damage to all players in a line in front of Hyrja

This damage will likely be fatal to any non-tank, so players should always avoid standing directly in front of Hyrja

The tank may need to use their most powerful cooldowns or Active Mitigation abilities to mitigate Shield of Light's damage

Shield of Light also knocks the tank (and other struck players) back a very long distance

If the tank faces Hyrja toward the opposite side of the room, Shield of Light can be used to quickly move Hyrja for phase changes

Arcing Bolt

Use a cooldown for each Shield of Light cast

Move Hyrja back and forth between Olmyr the Enlightened and Solsten, to avoid her gaining too many stacks of Mystic Empowerment: Holy or Mystic Empowerment: Thunder

The knock-back from Shield of Light can be used to quickly reposition Hyrja

During Mystic Empowerment: Thunder, drag Hyrja into the Eye of the Storm

During Mystic Empowerment: Holy, move back from Hyrja as she begins to cast Sanctify and dodge the light orbs

Do not stand in front of Hyrja when she casts Shield of Light, as its damage can be fatal

Ranged DPS should stay spread out for most of the fight, to avoid chaining Arcing Bolt or Expel Light damage

All DPS should collapse into the Eye of the Storm during Mystic Empowerment: Thunder

Melee DPS should back away from Hyrja when she begins to cast Sanctify

All DPS should dodge the light orbs when Hyrja casts Sanctify during Mystic Empowerment: Holy

The tank will require heavy healing, and possibly cooldowns, for Shield of Light

Players targeted by Expel Light should be topped up before the debuff expires, then healed back up when possible

Players targeted by Arcing Bolt should be topped up before Eye of the Storm

Eye of the Storm can deal moderate party-wide damage when Hyrja has several stacks of Mystic Empowerment: Thunder, and may require cooldowns

Do not stand in front of Hyrja when she casts Shield of Light

Stand in the Eye of the Storm, but otherwise stay spread out from the party to avoid splashing Arcing Bolt and Expel Light damage

Heroic DifficultyMystic Empowerment: ThunderMystic Empowerment: Holy

While affected by both Mystic Empowerment buffs, Hyrja will continue to cast both Arcing Bolt and Expel Light. She will only choose the "ultimate" ability of the mystic she is nearest to.

Hyrja loses 2 stacks of the previous buff each time she gains 1 stack of the new buff

The party should wait for Hyrja to lose all stacks of the buff before bringing her back to that side of the room

Note that, after kiting Hyrja away from the Holy side of the room, because she still has stacks, any existing Expel Light debuffs will continue to deal increased damage

Shield of LightExpel LightExpel LightExpel LightEye of the Storm

There is enough room under the Eye of the Storm bubble to allow the party to avoid taking extra Expel Light damage

The targeted player simply stands slightly within the edge of the bubble, while the rest huddle on the opposite side

Tanks must quickly pick up any Steeljaw Grizzly bears that are pulled by the party, as they deal extremely high damage to non-tank players

About every 13 seconds, the Steeljaw Grizzly will apply Crunch Armor to its target

Rending Claws deals extremely high damage, and may be fatal under Crunch Armor effects

If more than one Steeljaw Grizzly is pulled at once, the healer and tank may need to use multiple cooldowns

Stuns and other crowd-controlling effects are useful for reducing the damage these enemies can deal

Angerhoof Bull

Shortly after engaging an Angerhoof Bull, it will use Piercing Horns on its current target

Piercing Horns deals extremely heavy damage and players may require a personal cooldown to survive

Tanks should quickly pick up any Angerhoof Bull the party pulls

Healers and ranged DPS should stand more than 12 yards away to avoid damage and knockback from the Rumbling Stomp

Melee and the tank will need heavy healing, especially when the Angerhoof Bull uses Enrage at 40% health

Bear TrapValarjar TrapperValarjar Falconer

The Valarjar Falconers only use melee attacks against their threat target, but also summon Trained Hawk adds

Trained Hawks will deal moderate to heavy Physical damage with melee attacks and Talon Rake; they should quickly be taunted by the tank

Valarjar Trappers will attack the tanks with moderate melee and occasionally deal heavy damage with Quick Chop

The Trappers will also frequently cast Bear Trap, spawning a small metal trap near a random player's location

Stepping into the Bear Trap will stun the player for 3 seconds, and apply a powerful, 12-second DoT effect

Players should be careful to watch the area around them and avoid stepping in the Bear Trap

Leap to SafetyGildedfur StagBucking ChargeFrantic GoreEbonclaw Worg

Ebonclaw Worgs deal extremely heavy tank damage; stuns and crowd-controlling abilities are very useful

Do not engage more than one pack at a time - the Worgs buff each other with Strength of the Pack

Avoid stacking on other players to prevent spreading the Leap for the Throat bleed effect

Tanks and healers may need to use cooldowns to help the tank survive the heavy Ferocious Bite and Leap for the Throat damage, particularly on larger packs

Fenryr Tips & StrategyUnnerving HowlRavenous LeapClaw FrenzyUnnerving Howl

Unnerving Howl deals no damage, but will interrupt any spells that are being cast when it completes

Caster DPS and healers should cancel spells or rely on instant casts while Fenryr is casting Unnerving Howl

Ravenous LeapRavenous LeapRavenous LeapRavenous Leap

The targeted players receive a Ravenous Leap debuff and a red skull and arrow above their heads

Three seconds later, Fenryr will leap to one of the players' locations, and attack with Ravenous Leap

This deals moderate Physical damage to all players within 10 yards of the target, and applies a stack of a Ravenous Leap bleed to every damaged target

Fenryr will then jump to the other player's location and attack with Ravenous Leap, applying the Ravenous Leap bleed

After all players targeted with Ravenous Leap have been attacked, Fenryr will return to the tank

Ravenous LeapRavenous LeapRavenous LeapRavenous LeapBlinkClaw Frenzy

Claw Frenzy deals extremely heavy damage that bypasses armor and cannot be dodged or parried

The damage is split between the tank and all allies within 12 yards

Melee DPS should try to stay within this range to avoid tank deaths from excessive Claw Frenzy damage

Ranged DPS and most healers should avoid being within the Claw Frenzy radius unless there are no melee DPS to split the damage with the tank

If you are already low health from the Ravenous Leap bleed, use a personal damage-reduction cooldown to mitigate the Claw Frenzy

Scent of BloodScent of Blood

Fenryr can target any non-tank player with Scent of Blood

Once the cast is complete, Fenryr fixates on the target and pursues them for 6 seconds

Fenryr's melee damage is devastating, so the targeted player must kite Fenryr until Scent of Blood ends

Scent of Blood increases the player's run speed by 25%, but additional movement speed boosts or abilities are useful in gaining ground

The targeted player must be careful not to run into any remaining trash packs while kiting

DPS targeted by Scent of Blood may need to use personal defensive cooldowns while running, as they may be out of range of heals

Be careful when repositioning Fenryr after Ravenous Leap or Scent of Blood, to make sure not to catch non-melee DPS with Claw Frenzy

Stop casting when Fenryr begins Unnerving Howl

Use cooldowns to mitigate Claw Frenzy damage, especially if your group is light on melee DPS

Melee DPS should stay within 12 yards of the tank to help share Claw Frenzy damage, but may need to use personal damage-reduction cooldowns if already afflicted with Ravenous Leap bleeds

Ranged DPS should spread out around Fenryr so that Ravenous Leap does not hit multiple players

If targeted by Scent of Blood, run away from Fenryr, but be mindful of nearby trash packs

Stop casting when Fenryr begins Unnerving Howl

Party damage ramps up over time, as players gain more and more stacks of the Ravenous Leap bleed; use cooldowns late in the fight to help heal through the DoT

Use HoTs or absorption shields on players targeted by Scent of Blood if they also have Ravenous Leap bleeds

The tank and melee DPS will need heavy healing after Claw Frenzy

If targeted by Scent of Blood, run away from Fenryr, but be mindful of nearby trash packs

Stop casting when Fenryr begins Unnerving Howl

Heroic & Mythic DifficultyStealthUnnerving HowlEbonclaw Packmate

Each time Fenryr casts Unnerving Howl, three Ebonclaw Packmates will appear

The Ebonclaw Packmates are initially in Stealth, and cannot be attacked

The Packmates will walk slowly toward Fenryr, and will come out of Stealth when they get near him

The tank should quickly pick up the Ebonclaw Packmates when they draw near

Ebonclaw Packmates deal only melee damage, but Strength of the Pack increases their damage for each other nearby Packmate within 10 yards

God-King SkovaldOdyn's BlessingNotable Trash MobsIn Patch 7.2, these NPCs also now provide Trash Count on Mythic Keystone difficulty.

Players must challenge all four of these Kings to honorable combat before they may engage God-King Skovald

Speak to and challenge one of the Kings in order to prompt him to become hostile

Once a King has been defeated, all of the other living Kings gains his unique ability

When there are only two Kings left, both Kings will turn hostile when one of them is challenged

When fighting the final two Kings, it is best to focus on killing one quickly, rather than evenly damaging them

Sever generates heavy tank damage, and increases all Physical damage on the target by 20% for 12 seconds

Sever occurs once every 12 seconds, so the debuff from the first Sever should fall off before the second Sever lands

This ability should only stack if two Kings both have the Sever ability at the same time, e.g. if players kill Haldor first or second

The tank should put up Active Mitigation when the Sever cast starts

King RanulfUnruly Yell

Unruly Yell deals heavy party damage and interrupts players who are currently casting

Interrupted players will also be locked out of spells for 3 seconds

Unruly Yell's damage can be fatal in combination with Wicked Dagger damage

Players should interrupt Unruly Yell whenever possible

If Unruly Yell is not interrupted, casters should stop casting to prevent being locked out of spells, and healers should use cooldowns to recover from the damage

King TorCall Ancestor

Tor will fire a holy bolt in a random direction several yards away

An Honored Ancestor will spawn where the bolt lands, and begin moving steadily towards Tor

If the Honored Ancestor reaches Tor, it will be consumed, healing Tor with Ancestor's Might

The Honored Ancestor can be killed, and is also vulnerable to snares, roots, knockback, and stuns

Players may kill it or may delay its heal by using crowd-control or kiting Tor away

When Tor dies, any existing Honored Ancestors despawn

King BjornWicked Dagger

Bjorn will choose a random non-tank player and hurl a Wicked Dagger at them

This inflicts heavy single-target damage to the target, and reduces incoming healing on that target for a short period of time

Healers should keep players topped up in anticipation of Wicked Dagger, but can wait until the debuff expires before healing the targeted player back up

In most groups, the tank is responsible for collecting and using the Aegis of Aggramar

This shield blocks all damage dealt to players standing inside its area of effect

Using any other action while channeling the Aegis of Aggramar ability will cancel it, and may result in a wipe

Ragnarok has a 3-second cast bar, followed by a 9-second channel

Ragnarok deals heavy party damage every 1.5 seconds, with each tick growing 25% stronger than the last

Use the Aegis of Aggramar during, not before, the initial Ragnarok cast bar for best results

Players at range should start moving closer to Skovald when he approaches 100 Energy, so they can quickly move into the Aegis of Aggramar effect

During this time, Skovald will only take damage from players standing behind the shield

While channeling, Skovald will also throw patches of Infernal Flames at players

Infernal Flames deals heavy Fire damage to players standing in the area of effect, and each patch persists for 20 seconds

Skovald prefers targets at range for Infernal Flames, but will target melee if the entire party is within melee range

Skovald picks a random non-tank target and rushes to them, dealing heavy Fire damage

This damage spreads to all other players within 10 yards of the initial target, and can be devastating on melee

Note that Skovald always uses this ability immediately after Ragnarok, before Claim the Aegis!/li]
If the tank began the Aegis of Aggramar cast late enough in that Ragnarok cast bar, the shield will also absorb the damage of this Felblaze Rush

To be safe, ranged DPS and healers should move away quickly as Ragnarok ends, to reduce the amount of Felblaze Rush damage taken

Savage Blade

Savage Blade may also apply a Ragged Slash bleed, which can be very dangerous

To avoid the Ragged Slash, use an Active Mitigation ability before or during the Savage Blade cast

Aegis of Aggramar

Pick up the Aegis of Aggramar at the start of the fight, and after each time Skovald throws it

Use the Aegis of Aggramar when Skovald begins to cast Ragnarok

Do not cast any other ability while channeling the Aegis of Aggramar, or else the shield will disappear and the party will likely wipe

Put up Active Mitigation each time Skovald begins to cast Savage Blade, to avoid gaining the Ragged Slash debuff

Move Skovald away from patches of Infernal Flames

Ranged DPS should stay spread out to avoid splashing Felblaze Rush damage onto other players

Move into the Aegis of Aggramar's protective shield when Skovald casts Ragnarok

Ranged DPS should quickly spread out again after Ragnarok ends, as Skovald often uses Felblaze Rush immediately

Attack Skovald from behind when he uses Aegis of Aggramar himself

Do not stand in patches of Infernal Flames

Do not use Bloodlust/Heroism/Time Warp; save it for the next boss fight

If players are slow to enter the Aegis of Aggramar during Ragnarok, or if they exit the Aegis of Aggramar early, they will take very heavy damage, and may die

If Felblaze Rush hits multiple targets, you may need to use a cooldown to recover

If the tank fails to use Active Mitigation on Savage Blade, they will require heavy single-target healing

Move into the Aegis of Aggramar's protective shield when Skovald casts Ragnarok

Do not stand in patches of Infernal Flames

A golden swirl appears at a location near a randomly-chosen player, indicating that a Spear of Light will emerge soon

After 3 seconds, a large explosion will emanate from the indicated area, dealing heavy Spear of Light damage to any player within 8 yards, and light damage to all players in the party

A Spear of Light then erupts from the location

Players standing close to the Spear of Light will be debuffed with Spear of Light and take heavy periodic damage

Avoid taking excessive Spear of Light damage by moving away from the initial targeting swirl as it spawns

Later in the fight, Odyn will summon two, and then three, spears with each Spear of Light cast

Glowing FragmentSpear of LightShatter Spears

Each spear detonates into five Glowing Fragments that fly out in straight lines across the room

Touching a Glowing Fragment will deal extremely heavy damage and will stun the player for 3 seconds

It is likely that players stunned by one Glowing Fragment will be struck by another, and may die

Each player will get a different, brightly-colored symbol above their heads

These symbols match the shape and color of the five glowing runes around the circle in the middle of Odyn's arena

Players should run to the corresponding rune on the floor in order to drop the Runic Brand and become Branded

Branded players transform into golden Valkyr models and will deal 50% more damage and healing for 30 seconds

Use Bloodlust/Heroism/Time Warp when most of the party is affected by Branded

Becoming Branded sets you back to full health, so do not panic if you have to run away from your healer

Run out for Radiant Tempest

Move out of the Spear of Light indicator to avoid taking extreme damage when it spawns

Dodge the Glowing Fragments when Odyn casts Shatter Spears

When marked with a Runic Brand, match the icon on your head to the rune on the floor to gain the Branded buff

Save throughput cooldowns (including Bloodlust/Heroism/Time Warp) for when you gain the Branded buff

Each Spear of Light deals party damage when it spawns; late in the fight, when more spawn at once, this may require cooldowns

Run out for Radiant Tempest

Move out of the Spear of Light indicator to avoid taking extreme damage when it spawns

Dodge the Glowing Fragments that erupt from the Spear of Light spawns when Odyn casts Shatter Spears

When marked with a Runic Brand, match the icon on your head to the rune on the floor to gain the Branded buff

Players will be set to full health upon becoming Branded, so do not panic about healing - just be sure to get your buff!

While Branded, deal as much damage as you can to Odyn, while still healing the tank and party

The first Stormforged Obliterator is summoned approximately 20 seconds into the fight, then again every minute until Odyn is defeated

The Stormforged Obliterator will immediately begin to cast Surge

A successful Surge cast deals heavy damage to the party and will also reduce the cast time of the next Surge cast (by 50% on Heroic, and 100% on Mythic)

Players must interrupt every Surge; letting even one cast get off will make it very hard to interrupt subsequent casts

The party should quickly kill each Stormforged Obliterator when it spawns

Tanks and healers should save strong cooldowns for the final 50%

Halls of Valor: A Worthy Challenge (Valarjar)Volynd Stormbringer

Volynd will choose three non-tank targets for Static Storm, similar to the Thundercallers' Thunderstrike

After 3 seconds, the targeted players will detonate, dealing moderate damage to players within 8 yards

Players struck by this damage - including the original target - will be stunned for 3 seconds

Targeted players must move away from others, particularly away from the tank

Every 20 seconds, Volynd will cast Charged Pulse, identical to the Stormforged Sentinel's ability of the same name

Ranged DPS/healers should be sure to stand more than 15 yards from Volynd, and melee DPS should use defensive CDs or run out

Upon reaching 30% health, Volynd will defend himself with Protective Light, putting up a powerful absorption shield

The Protective Light can be removed by offensive dispels such as Purge, Dispel Magic, or Spellsteal

Tempest

Tempest summons a lightning vortex under Volynd's current position

Eight Storm Orbs rotate around the vortex

Nearby players are pushed away from the vortex's location, and the Storm Orbs gradually spread out

Players who enter the vortex or who touch a Storm Orb will take moderate damage each second until they are out of the area

Tanks should drag Volynd away from the Tempest, so that melee do not take fatal damage from Storm Orbs

You can use all your abilities (except maybe channels) while using the aegis, so tank should have no trouble using aegis (except perhaps for warrior with nelth's fury).

On m+ I reccomend Ranulf+Tor first as both their abilities are avoidable, whereas the sever from Haldor and the dagger from Bjorn will wreck havoc on your party.

My mythics group is finding Odyn extremely difficult. He is casting Radiant Tempest over and over, right when he brings out his add. I've checked out a bunch of Youtubes on the fight that never show him doing this. Anyone else encountering this problem?

With 7.2 on m+ runs King Haldor and the other kings give enemy forces. So u dont have to reach %100 percent before you pass the bridge.
