I'm wondering if anyone has ever posted something that shows mixed items that can beat a set w/bonuses. I don't really care what my armor looks like. Maybe i need queer eye for the straight lock to change my view on that, but I'd rather have function over form. I've heard people say sets are for "noobs" but haven't seen concrete proof of this.

Off topic: the use of the word "noob"(i put this in quotes as i don't want anyone to ever think I'd use this word casually)is sad. This is a game and experience/knowledge of it does not bump up your social status. I play for fun and if I don't know something, I would never get offended by someone calling me "noob". In fact it makes me laugh at first, then I feel sorry for the person who used it. I'm not quite sure why I'm on this rant so I'll stop. But please enjoy yourselves.

not a single piece in the set gives +% to hit?, stupid.
Although the set bonus for the 8 pieces is awesome, and with a demo lock with imp threat bonus you can actually crit hit without problem again and again.

Seriously, compare these to Felheart Bracers, and you will almost find them identical. These need a buff like they buffed Netherwind Bindings, give these som extra +5 damage or something in that way.

Got this thing yesterday, and with a +9 sta ehcnantment this bracer is now +30 sta :D pretty nice I must say... now I just need the legs from Ragnaros to get my first tier2 set bonus
