Fun Alchemy Effects in Dragonflight - Toxic Consumables, Potions Usable While Dead

Toxic ConsumablesToxic Phials:

Phial of Icy Preservation: Damage taken is decreased by 4% / 5% / 6% while over 50% health, but increased by 4% / 5% / 6% while under 50% health.

Iced Phial of Corrupting Rage: Gain Corrupting Rage which grants 211 / 219 / 330 Critical Strike rating. After suffering 100% of your health in damage, you briefly swap to Overwhelming Rage which causes you to take 100% of your health as Nature damage over 30 sec.

Toxic Potions:

Potion of Chilled Clarity: Reduces the mana cost of all spells by 100% but also increases cast time by 20% for 8 / 10 / 14 seconds.

Potion of Withering Vitality: Consume this vile concoction to instantly heal yourself for 56,710 / 62,248 / 75,000, but suffer that same amount as Plague damage over 15 sec.

Potions Usable While Dead

Residual Neural Channeling Agent: While dead, assault your enemy's consciousness with what remains of your own, dealing 13,610 / 14,939 / 18,000 Nature damage over 18 sec to your target. Should you be revived, the remaining damage will be dealt instantly. Releasing your spirit will return your consciousness to you and cancel the effect.

Delicate Suspension of Spores: Use upon a fallen ally to spread restorative spores nearby, which cling to allies and heal them for 9,073 / 9,959 / 12,000 over 6 sec. Usable on yourself while dead.

Residual Neural Channeling AgentOther Fun Things

Bottled Putrescence: Throw to spread rot and decay to susceptible creatures and wildlife. This will also deal 12,500 / 13,830 / 15,850 Nature damage to enemies over 10 sec. This potion currently has no cooldown and works on target dummies.

Potion of Gusts: Drink to be propelled forward a short / respectable / significant distance, momentarily weightless.

Cauldron of the Pooka: Set out a Cauldron of the Pooka for 10 min. Allies can take a sample of the suspiciously fuzzy liquid as a refreshing drink to restore 60% / 70% / 80% mana over 30 sec seconds.

Suspiciously Fuzzy Drink grants mana, with each tick having a chance to transform you into a cute creature! Creatures we have encountered include vulpera, bees, squirrels, rabbits, rats and cats!

When I first started playing a few years ago, I rolled a Gnome hunter (without realising they were a recently added novelty at the time), and obviously made him an engineer. I really enjoyed as I levelled him up making my own guns, crafting my own mount, handy gadgets and the like. It felt like a genuinely flavourful, integrated and useful part of the game and of my character.
It would be nice to get back to that feeling, and roll a new character to level up exploring the talent trees, but above all the relevant profession combinations. Which is handy, as the lizard people really don't appeal.
Gimme a playable Tuskarr shaman with skinning, leatherworking, fishing and cooking and I'm in like Flynn. Or otherwise I'll settle for a blacksmithing Dwarf warrior, maybe.Comment by JandaarA potion that does damage while the user is dead?
