Hit Rating - Aim for 11% Hit Rating, totalling 17% when combined with

Trinkets are always a strange choice, any trinket that is the best option in a vacuum might not be the best option with your current gear or playstyle. I strongly urge you to sim all gear choices, but especially trinkets!

A general rule of thumb in Wrath of the Lich King for weapons is that the highest item level one will be the best.

being item level 226 has 520 Spell Power versus the 461 Spell Power on item level 213 weapons. There may be rare occasions where secondary stats outweigh the Spell Power from item level, but these are few and far between. It is also worth keeping in mind that weapons like

Two-Handed Weapons for Shadow Priest DPS in Phase 1
Two-Handed weapons generally follow similar rules to one-handed weapons, just being better the higher item level they are. Unfortunately two-handed weapons have the same Spell Power as one-handers of the same item level, only gaining secondary stats. Because off-hands generally give Spell Power the benefits of two-handers are outweighed by them. Still, an item level 213 two-hander will generally be better than your item level 200 one-hander.

As shadow our t7 bonuses are very weak. With that in mind, wouldn't the BiS helm be the t7 Tier for disc/holy as it has the best stats for us.
