You're on this page because you have realized the beauty of the best looking black and gold plate set ever. (ok, not the helmet)

The best way to acquire most of the pieces is just running AQ20 and AQ40 every lockout for a few months. To ease the pain of looting everything, Treeston from MMO-C helped me make a macro to destroy all the bug mounts that may help:

However, weekly runs will very likely NOT get you the 尊貴甲冑. This chestpiece is the rarest piece by far. It only drops from certain non-boss lvl 62 mobs, which there are only a handful of in either instance. Combine this with the chance of a green dropping and then the infinitely tiny chance of an 尊貴甲冑 being that green... and you have a nightmare on your hands.

The way to get the chestpiece is to first enter AQ20 and farm the second boss by killing his adds and resetting him. This works better if you have an 85 Night Elf or Rogue or Mage or Hunter or any class that can remove themselves from combat. It's much better to bring a Rogue in greens than your geared main for this. First, kill the first boss to get him out of the way (the one that spawns sand piles). When you get to the room with the 7 packs of mobs with the Majors/Captains/Colonel, pull and kill them either individually or all at once. The boss will become active at this point. Quickly loot the 7 Majors/Captains/Colonel (none of the other mobs can be looted), and then remove yourself from combat if you can. If you can't remove yourself from combat, run out of the instance. If you have to run out though, expect a lot of pain (and lost time from running)... the boss takes away 50% of your current HP every time he stomps. Eventually he'll get you to 5k HP or so and just kill you, but even if you don't have any way of increasing your run speed, you should be able to leave the instance before he gets you to the point where he can kill you. When you leave combat, the boss AND all the mob packs reset.

The genius of this method is that 7 out of the 14 mobs in the entire game that can drop the chestpiece are killed every time you reset. This is easily the best chestpiece-dropping-mob per hour ratio you can get. We have limited data currently on how long you would have to farm on average to obtain the chestpiece, but one person on WoWRoleplayGear reported spending 7 hours resetting the captains before s/he got her chestpiece. Edit: Took me around 3-4 hours, but I think I got lucky.

Note that these 7 "mini-boss" mobs can also drop four other pieces of the Exalted set (Helmet, Shoulders, Pants, and Boots). The Bracers, Belt, and Gloves will only drop from lower level trash (and as such they are very easy to get - I got about 3 gloves and 3 belts before I got the chest).

Personal opinion on a few things:
1. The 尊貴盔帽 is awful. It actually does not even share the same artwork as the rest of the set (neither do the shoulders actually). If you get it, try selling it or something (I put it in void storage but I doubt I'll ever use it.
2. The 尊貴肩冑 is pretty meh. I personally use 深淵憤怒肩鎧. They look vastly superior even though they are slightly off color. Additionally, they're easy to get (Supremus in Black Temple can be soloed by probably every class and definitely duo'd).

Edit: Got my 尊貴甲冑 at the end of January. I spent around 3-4 hours there total on my Rogue alt (Edona) to get it.

A typical run with my rogue alt took around 3 minutes. My priority was this:
1. AoE with 飛舞刀刃 until there are 2-3 mobs left.
2. Single target carefully (don't kill the mob before you get 4-5 combo points).
3. .
4. Finish the last mobs, loot the mini-boss, and move on to the next group.
5. When the boss aggros, vanish and return to where the first pack spawns. It spawns around 10 seconds after the boss despawns.

Another set like it in silver and black which is easier to obtain and (crafted) is the Enchanted Adamantite Armor but shoulders and gloves are not included :( If anyone finds any plate matching shoulders and gloves, let me know!

I have been trying to farm these and so far have spent roughly 4 hours resetting the adds on the 2nd boss in AQ20 as well as clearing both AQ20 and AQ40 up to the twins (3 times).
So far I have had the boots and the gloves only - this is seemingly a pretty tough grind to get.

For those interested in the running out to reset tactic a couple of hints - I do this on a DK and have never been killed by him.
1) Pull the 7th wave out of his area so he has a long run up to you (if you go too far towards the steps before wave 8 you get ported back to his room so be careful).
2) Start running as soon as the adds from wave 7 are down and you should reach the stairs before he catches you - he will do his knockback 50% health reduce attack when he reaches you so AMS or if you time it wrong sacrifice a ghoul. The knock back actually gets you closer to the entrance so you houldn't get another one but healing up to over 70% via this ensures you can take another if needed.
3)If the Kaldorei elite spawn to "help" you during the fight stand behind them and let the wave adds kill them - don't attack the adds they are or you will pull aggro - this is important since if any are alive when you run out you get ported back to his starting point and have to run all over again (if this happens you will have to heal yourself up using death strike on him or lichbourne with full runic power for death coils if you have it).

Update: Another 2/3 hours of resetting last night on a nelf alt and I got the chest and the helm.
Update 2: I have spent about 15 hrs resetting this now (as well as clearing multiple times) and so far have got 2 boots, 2 gloves, 2 helms, the belt, chest and shoulders. I still haven't got the legs, I know random is random but it's pretty frustrating.

This set uses the black and gold (officially "Gold") variant of the "Horde C5 Plate" artwork and forms a complete seven-piece set of the art.

There's no artwork for the helm in that artwork set. While there is a helm in the "Exalted" set it uses unrelated artwork and so isn't listed here. Just pick whatever you think looks best, as there are no pieces designed to match.

As mentioned elsewhere on this page, 貴族肩鎧 and 戰爭使者肩甲 are different models of the shoulders, in case you prefer either style.

There are five other colour variants of this artwork in the database and all have at least a few pieces available in the game, either as mail or plate. Some are available as sets and some only as a few fragmented pieces. The mail sets are mostly incomplete. See:

Black (officially "Silver"): mail only: Black Dragon Mail (this is the most complete mail set in this artwork)
Black-and-gold (officially "Gold"): plate: this current page, mail: only chest and legs, see this link for appearance and list of pieces
Brown (officially "Burgandy" ): plate: Exalted Plate (Recolor), mail: if you're lucky and know someone with the now-removed recipes for the 血魂的擁抱 set, you can get the chest, shoulders and gloves, but that's all
Dark teal (officially "Blue"): plate only: Exalted Plate (Recolor)
Green: mail only: Black Dragon Mail (Recolor). Only the top half is available
Purple-black (officially "Purple"): plate only: Exalted Plate (Recolor)

noble plate pauldrons is probably the best match for this set, but it's a quest reward and most players would probably have vendored them by now.

so if you're lvling a toon or haven't done the quest for it, make sure u remember to CHOOSE the shoulder reward.

WoW Roleplay Gear posted this variation of the armor on their site, including the 放逐者苦難 and 龍人之盾 for weapon/shields. Gives me an idea of what my goblin would look like raiding.

After weeks of farming I've only been lucky enough to get the chest and legs of this set. Having a look around I've found that the crafted pieces 風鑄長靴風鑄護手風鑄護肩 work well enough for me to wear while I continue to farm for the rest of the set. Also the shield I chose is 魔石壁壘.

Have started farming with the method posted above killing the colonels and resetting. A mage is great for doing this, i simply spam arcane explosion on every mob and go invis as soon as the last colonel dies. I then eat mage cakes for about 10 seconds to get to full health and repeat. Each reset takes me an average of 2 minutes and 45 seconds.

I started farming this set yesterday, and have managed to get hold of the helm, belt and legs already from a new method of farming which I discovered:

Skip through Rajexx's trash, and at the entrance to the other rooms, you will meet 2 Qiraji Gladiators - Kill them.

They will continuously respawn, giving you a never-ending flow of mobs to loot, they have ALL exalted on the wowhead droptable EXCEPT for the chest.

I'm thinking (and hoping) that it's just bad luck that nobody has looted the chest yet, I can't see why the entire Exalted set except for the chest would be on their drop table.

Either way, I'm going to blast this grind for a few hours and I will report back if the chest drops, either way it might just be better to get a different chest, as let's be honest the exalted one isn't GREAT, the chest I have my eyes set on is either Abalone Plate Armor or Omega Breastplate, they're slightly off - colour, but better looking and it's the closest you're gonna get.

I can kill 10-15 of these a minute, thats well over 600 an hour, by far the best way.

Helm: Crown of Empowered Fate
Shoulders: Noble Plate Pauldrons
Tabard: Scryers Tabard or (Surprisingly I suppose) Argent Crusader's Tabard
Shirt: Blue Martial Shirt (Or any martial shirt as you don't really see anything but the sleeves.
Back: Cloak of the Black Void (I've not looked through all the models so I'm not sure if there is a better one but I'm sure there is.)
Right Hand: Cruel Barb (Or the higher level version, either one as they have the same model.) or Folly's Edge or The Black Knight (See "Back" comment.)
Left Hand: Draconian Deflector or Bulwark of Redemption or the simple Hawthorne's Shield (See "Back" comment.)

If you cant the chest, or dont wanna pay a fortune, you can, if you are a blacksmith make a Bop chest that at first glance dont fit that well. But once you equippe a tabard, the part of the chest that sticks out of the tabard matches the exalted set more or less spot on.

The colour besides the green part is more or less the same as the Exalted set.

Farming this for a while now back and forth - but just looted Exalted Harness from Rajaxx "Pre-Adds" in AQ20 as of 2012 December 31. Didn't even think that piece could drop there as far as I could read here, might just be me who's been understanding it wrong ;)

Another place I had luck with is Alcaz Island, offshore of Dustwallow, killing the naga and hydras. Was farming 天國褶裙 and, while no kilt yet, have had several Exalted pieces drop (no not the chest!). Don't forget the 4 in the cave beneath the camp.

Oh, I also read somewhere that the isle is phased after you do the Theramore scenario so you might not encounter anything out there if you did that. If so, try reversing the Theramore phasing by talking to Zidormi on bridge outside Theramore.

I did get the chest after a few hours farming the waves before Rajaxx (using an 85 mage and hitting invisibility to reset after wave 7). I got about 11-12 runs per hr with the 5 min CD on invisibility. As noted elsewhere, best to let the "helpful" NPCs die because it is a royal PITA when Rajaxx tries resetting on your invisibility but then, once the adds are back, Rajaxx and his crew charge the NPCs and you're right in crossfire.

For a 2 handed weapon I really like the look of 星移管理者之槌 with this set. It comes from the quest 趁他人之危 in Netherstorm.

I cannot really confirm this yet (29 march 2014), but i have been farming exalted pieces for a while with my lvl 90 blood dk by reseting Rajaxx trash packs and it seems that blizzard has tampered with the way loot is dropped. After ~ 20 resets, i only managed to loot some mail pieces , only from 1st pull. After that all i get is grey stuff and scarabs. Can anyone else confirm ?

I'm trying to farm the harness and legplates, and have read all the above comments thoroughly.

I don't know if this is a new mechanic, but if you lure all the waves to the entrance (resetting the boss itself) and kill the waves, you then get teleported to the boss and have to run out on foot whilst he's smashing you about.

Unfortunately, I got ported to him mid-bladestorm, killed him, and locked me in the raid.

Is this teleportation a new addition by Blizzard to try and make the farming of this suit more difficult?

Personally I use the following items to match the set:
The Boneslasher 斬骨劍 as 2-handed sword, the only i found that was gold and 2 go nicely on the back of a fury warrior.
When in protection spec i use the lvling loom shield 火痕龍人之盾 or the one from Upper Blackrock Spire (same moddel) together with a Viking Sword 維京劍

Since WoD's release we've got another alternative for shoulders which can match this set:
鋼鐵爐缸肩甲 from Blackhand (LFR)
碎石肩鎧 from 生鏽的挑戰者保險箱 which is a reward from the WoD challenge modes dailies.
These aren't my favourite ones but they still have that black and gold looking.

So i have my own weapon choice and that is 莫格萊尼純淨之力?bonus=6652 Mograine's Immaculate Might. pair that with the Titanguard weapon mod for a glowing golden effect. Also I use a 黃色伐木工襯衣?bonus=6835 yellow lumberjack shirt to help complete the look.
