Has anyone been farming this? I've been looking for this for a while but the only place I can normally try and find it is from the Chimaeroks on the Isle of Dread, and even so I'm rather skeptical even if WoWHead says it's dropped by them because I have no idea how these drops work comparing with other green drops that drop from level 60 elites.

My main question is this: Where else would this item be able to drop? I'm trying to see if there's a better alternative other than the mobs listed to try and farm this item. The Chimaerok's aren't bad but it's one heck of a long way from the Horde camp, and the boat's not too friendly. >.>

Best way for General Rajaxx trash farming

Clear path to General Rajaxx's spot (adds and boss) then mount up and go aggro all adds and General Rajaxx then run back to entrance, Once you pass the first gate at 60,17 , General Rajaxx will go back to his spot and u can kill adds. No need to die or ... , Do it again and again and again and ...

I acquired every piece of Exalted plate for my male b'elf warrior except the harness. (This was for transmogging.) I couldn't wait to see my toon swaggering around Azeroth in this gorgeous set. However, after months of fruitlessly checking the auction house five times a day and farming occasionally, I decided to hell with it and cheated, using the Brutish Breastplate instead. It certainly didn't hurt that the Brutish version was a LOT cheaper. To my surprise, the substitution didn't look half-bad. I even got compliments from other players. If a miracle happens and I find the rare Exalted harness, great, but until then, I'm going to continue to fake it! See what you think from the screenshot.

This could be depressing. For all I know I've DE'd hundreds of thousands of gold worth of Transmog items... I run these raids ALL the time and just DE every green via auto-disenchant. I guess I should start REALLY looking for what NOT to DE...

Hi guys, I've been using 拉賈克斯將軍 reset technique and found something really useful. As you can see, the boss fight starts as soon as you kill the adds. I've been doing it with my shadowpriest and realized we can use 鬼魅幻影 as soon as the last add dies. Just be sure you stack them far from the boss. If the shadow image is in Rajaxx's range, he will not reset. It is very importante to burn the adds asap because the big ones can use a skill that makes them immune, and that will give the boss enough time to get near you, and you'll have no choice but running back. After casting the skill, the adds should respawn immediately, no need to go out and back in. All you need is waiting for a 30 sec cooldown. Good luck!

1st time I post here.
I followed the 拉賈克斯將軍 tactic and for the 1st time ever I was very lucky.
Took my rogue, killed 1st boss and mobs and after that I mounted and ran through all the packs with mobs and mini bosses without agroing Rajaxx. When I reached last pack I killed all of them and boss came to me. Used vanish (glyphed for 1 min cd) and I started all over.
After 20 rounds I had 2 exalted harnesses and 1 exalted legplates of the....
So, I must be very lucky or they increased dropchance.

I farmed other things, some I still farm (felsteel longblade plans) but I never was that lucky before. Most times it takes months, even years before it dropped.

I hope with this comment and for all those who are farming this chest, legplates, ... Don't worry, they still drop.

I'm looking for some guidance on using the General Rajaxx method. When I first tried it, I was able to farm the room a few times using Feign Death. Yet at some point, I aggroed him to the point that the instance locked.

I just returned today, after the lock, and as I was pulling the room (I had killed one mob), I received the message that I was locked to the instance. I was nowhere near Rajaxx and he was not yet running toward me.

I'm a noob with regard to farming trash in instances and I'm not sure what I should be avoiding in order to ensure that I don't aggro Rajaxx.

Any tips?

Good way to farm this as a mage.

Step 1: Head into AQ-20 aka Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj

Step 2: Get to the General Rajaxx area

Step 3: Pull all the General Rajaxx trash but avoid aggroing Rajaxx himself.

Step 4: Pull the trash to the "room's" entrance, kill all the trash, loot them (make sure you have Area Loot enabled), pop invisibility.

Step 5: At this point the trash will respawn and now you just have to wait for your invisibility to come off cooldown and you can start again from step 3.

Rinse and Repeat as necessary.

Farming this in BfA:

The above methods still work but I wanted to share my experiences and methods to help save some time. Clear a path to General Rajaxx's room - the first boss along with all the trash (especially the wasps with that annoying pushback). Mount up and gather up all of the groups in Rajaxx's room without aggroing Rajaxx himself. Take them to the entry of the room and AoE them down. At this time Rajaxx will come for you. Start running towards the entrance of the instance with Rajaxx in tow. Be careful not to get too far ahead as you will be summoned back to Rajaxx's room and have to make the run again (this is especially true when the Kaldorei NPCs are present - Rajaxx will make quick work of them and proceed to run you down...quickly). Once you make it to the entry room of the instance, Rajaxx will reset and the groups will respawn. Rinse. Repeat.
