Just a thought, but as far as healing distribution goes, the bloom from Lifebloom is accredited to the one being healed, so I doubt that the mace would affect bloom until blizzard makes the bloom count as the druid's heal.

In other words, it says "your direct heals", and the bloom counts as a heal from the person receiving it.

You can still get up to 603 +healing with this mace alone using the 22 healing gem and the 81 healing enchant which in any case is still pretty impressive.

Well for one......*ALL* you people saying the proc of the Spire makes this mace bad....the proc is only when they are below 50% health. Half the the time you heal people they arent below 50% health, if even half the time, that makes the spire...uhh..not so hot imo. This mace is much better imo.

with the Teardrop Crimson Spinel (+22 healing red gem) and a +81 healing enchant, this mace tops the charts with +603 healing, as someone above mentionned. a gain of 41 healing over Crystal Spire. you lose the "under 50%" bonus from Crystal Spire, but honestly, if your guild is good enough to kill Illidan, let alone the Eredar Twins, then your gear is quite good too. my point is, gaining +180 to +220 health per direct healing spell IF your target is under 50% health is about 1/3 of a renew tick. the bonus on Crystal Spire is not as amasing as one might think.

you also gain +2 Stamina, +10 Intellect, and +5 mp5 over the Crystal Spire

Basically this is Lightfathom Scepter v2.0. With +22 healing gem you get:
-4 Stamina
+5 Intellect
+79 Healing
compared with Lady Vashj mace.

Resto shamans and CoH priests will probably prefer Crystal Spire of Karabor because of the proc, for holy paladins this would be a sidegrade. But for resto druids this is the best healing weapon in game (at least for now).

Yeah, for a holy pally it would be a sidegrade from the Crystal Spire, but if you're stuck with the badge mace due to unlucky drops, it's something to look forward to.

***FROM A PALADIN POINT OF VIEW***
Most people would want to throw a + healing gem in this bad boy.
I would prefer to throw a haste gem in it.
Haste gives more HPS (Heals per Second) therefore keeping people alive.
People would want to throw a Teardrop Crimson Spinel in this, but the socket bonus isn't worth it.
Most Sunwell fights require the raid to be topped to full health, and tanks take quick and a lot of damage.
This gives a free Haste gem socket.

Think before you gem!

Sadly, at the time of this posting, you cannot transmog this mace onto a one-hand mace, only another main-hand.

This is saddening because I had intended to use it over the new 378 tank mace on my warrior. Alas, even though I was going to use it on my main hand, I cannot.
