Zone EventsAzshara's Elite CommandersElite CommandersWar Mode is offWar Mode on shards with an unbalanced faction ratio

A zone-wide emote will appear once the Commanders are spawned: Naga commanders have appeared! Slay them before they can build up their forces!

5 Commanders spawn at different areas of the map - 指揮官敏澤菈, 巫者妮塔菈, 督軍札爾賈, 影縛者亞曦莎, and 魔咒使者瓦吉娜. Each commander location will be signaled by a purple skull on your map.

Each one of these commanders has similar health to a Nazjatar Rare Elite, close to 4M health. Although they can be soloed if you have enough gear, it is advisable to engage and defeat them in a group.

Each commander drops 2 稜光法力珍珠 and several 納沙塔爾戰鬥表揚, for a total of 10 Manapearls if you manage to kill all 5 commanders.

After all commanders are defeated, another zone-wide emote will appear: The Naga commanders have been defeated! In addition to the Manapearls that they drop, at the end of the event, every player in Nazjatar will receive a free 不穩定的法力珍珠 buff.

Battle for Nazjatar

You can obtain points by either killing enemy faction players, killing enemy faction NPCs at the PvP towers, or capturing a PvP tower.

5 PvP locations can be captured by your faction: Thoras'tal Spire, Ala'thir Spire, Tidal Conflux, Lemor'athra Spire, and Zin-Azshari.

PvP locations can be captured by staying in their vicinity until the flag is turned over to your faction. Completely capturing a tower from the enemy faction to yours, by yourself, takes about 3 minutes.

PvP locations under your faction's control generate points passively. The more locations your faction controls, the more points you will earn over time.

The first faction to reach 10,000 points, or the faction with the most points at the end of the 45 minutes, wins the Battle. The rewards are:
Winning Faction: 50 Conquest, Nazjatar Battle Commendation x5

Losing faction: 20 Conquest, Nazjatar Battle Commendation x2

I've been a reader of Wowhead for years, but I finally created an account just so I could say what a great job was done on this guide and thank Neryssa for the work that obviously went into it. Selfishly, I also am curious if you guys will be putting out a similar guide for Mechagon. I am wondering as well about the mission table system and details regarding its continuation in 8.2. Lastly, I want to thank Wowhead for not caving to the grumpy anti-Classic folks who complained about Classic news being presented. I wasn't that enthusiastic about Classic (started in BC and feel the game has left all that behind for the better) but learning about Classic from Wowhead and other sources has kindled my interest and now I look forward to playing it and very much appreciate your continuing coverage.

Really great guide!

One question though, is the Eternal Ornaments the same thing as Sanguicell? Do you need Eternal Ornaments to craft new gear for Blacksmithing for example?

Currently it says to craft a 440-ilevel item you still use Expolsum which seems wierd? Seeing as you can probably craft 440 items withing a day or two if you just get a hold of enough Osmenite ore.

Dude I didn't even finish up the MoP Timeless Isle one haha, that Monstrous Spineclaw won't DROP the pet for me. I presume 請給我最大的袋子 will work the same way: for example, those pets must be DROPPED, NOT OBTAINED BY ANY OTHER MEANS (AH neither).
Currently the MoP one if you buy a pet at the AH, thinking it would count on the achiev... nope. You must drop it. Too bad I didn't farm it harder during MoP.

So there's my advice, take the chance NOW that it is current content and try to get that achiev in this Expansion, or when we move to the next, it may be even harder. During MoP I tired of seeing so many rares, that I didn't care much for the Spineclaw back then, and he spawned many times, because there were many people farming stuff.

I purchased a 海底披風 (Benthic Cloak) today from 『尋寶者』寶兒塔. Using it created a 艾薩利怒濤者斗篷 that has a prismatic gem socket.

Great guide so far, I know that one of the other tidestallions comes from the pvp currency (150) and the other one comes from a rare drop from what I've heard. Method did a mount guide on youtube if you are interested in following it up as I didn't see any mention of the other 2 tidestallions

The warrior bodyguard says it does various levels of dodge, but is that to US, or for him? It SHOULD be for us, but the way it's worded, not so sure.

I'm Technical Specialist Zeadom! At this time our QA and Developers are looking into reports of players not able to pick up the quest, "Ancient Technology".

The item needed to start this quest is called the Broken Power Core , from the Broken Abyssal Focus. We believe there maybe a profession requirement of 150 to be able to see this item and pick up the quest chain:

That would mean one of the following need to be 150 level or higher:
Alchemy
Blacksmith
Engineering
Jewelcrafting
Leatherworking
Tailoring

In this guide you say i need to have done the quest Down into Nazjatar to contiune the war campaing, but even after doing the quest and a few more i still cant access the continuation of the war campaign.

Benthic gear is unable to warforge, titanforge, roll a tertiary stat or get a gem socket.

My Akana's Reefstrider Footwraps have a Prismatic Socket.

Would like to point out a few things about Benthic gear
1. While they don't titanforge, they can get upgrades. I rolled one that upgraded straight to 400
2. They CAN HAVE 3rd stat and sockets. I have had a belt with a socket, and a glove with leech.

The Abyssal Cocn (150 rep item) is not a guaranteed drop from the "Summons from the Depths" event. Didn't receive one on my kill and GM confirmed it's not a 100% drop chance.

As great as this is there are still a couple of important (reputation and Manapearls) things missing. It would be the Arcane Pylons in Nazjatar, compliments of Mad Mardivas. It's a one time mini game (one time per pylon). It could be a weekly thing like with his lab, but I haven't been able to verify that yet.
The rewards so far for me have been Manapearls, in varying amounts and reputation for every won game (I believe it was 75 per pylon, but it could be 50). I have so far located 3 pylons. One in the cave of the Murloc area near Ashen Strand. Second one in the underwater cave called Chatterspine Cavern (near gate of the Queen) at the very end of it. Third near Azshari Terrace in the Coldlight Cavern. The easiest one have been the one in the murloc cavern, I do not know if the games' difficulty is random, changes on any daily/weekly basis or stays the same for every location.

Small mistake: Players need to unlock their world quest on at least one character to be able to start the Nazjatar quest line.

May be of good note that another pre-requisite is that you have to Unlock World Quests first before you can start the new zone quest line. So Uniting Kul Tiras(Alliance) and Uniting Zandalar(Horde).

Unlike in other iterations of similar catch-up systems, there is no RNG to Benthic gear - Benthic gear has predetermined stats according to each slot and armor type.

Except for the gem slots, which with the new gems can equal over 15ilvls in power.

This guide does not mention the fact that you have to be friendly with Proudmoore Admiralty, Storm's Wake and the Order of Embers. I never quested in Stormsong Valley so I didn't have the initial quest available because I was neutral with Storm's Wake. Just an FYI

May want to update the quest flow to take Create Your Own Strength out of the direct line of story quests here. This makes it looks like it is required to continue on with Settling In, when in fact it is a separate side quest.

As everyone else as said good comprehensive guide. Just thought I'd mention when you search wowhead for the term Nazjatar Flight Whistle upgrade, you do get two icons and some texts (1 Ally and 1 Horde). However neither of them link back to this guide which is a shame because it's one of those things you can forget once you've done it, as the quest to the upgrade is out of the way. Hopefully the web gods at wowhead can fix this :)

Just spotted the guide says you need to complete the main storyline quest in order to be able to enter The Eternal Palace in Normal Mode and above. I do believe this has been Hot Fixed by Blizz so that as long as someone in the Raid as completed the main storyline (well 2 I guess) they can summon people who haven't completed the main storyline.

Can you add to the guide that you need to loot a Lesser Benthic Arcanocrystal and do that quest to interact with the laboratory (unless that's incorrect, but I needed to), and can you add that the followers give you rewards at 20, and which rewards each follower gives?

The few times I tried to look up information for getting the laboratory to be interactive and to see what followers give what rewards, Google has directed me to this guide, but neither of those are covered by this guide.

I rated you a 4/5 though - this was a lot of work, and it's very neatly organised, extremely helpful, and easy to follow. Thank you!

To get to Nazjatar you will need to do either The Wolf's Offensive quest for Alliance or The Warchief's Order for Horde - this will auto pop if you meet criteria. Next quest for both factions is Send in the Fleet.

Currently to unlock Nazjatar world quests you need to complete the Magni quest chain starting with Essential Empowerment (if not completed already) that he gives you in your base after your first Nazjatar introductory quests. Essential Empowerment is well worth doing... as of patch 8.3 completing it will level your Heart of Azeroth neck to lvl 50!

Once you have completed that quest chain then new quests will open up in your base. Complete all those and then you will find a quest that opens up World Quests on completion - unlocking WQs also opens up your bodyguard quests so u can level them & also makes you eligible for PVP event Battle for Nazjatar rewards - for Horde pick up Scouting the Pens in your base which leads you to a quest called Save A Friend at 38,42 that opens WQs...for Alliance accept quest The Lost Shaman from Hunter Akana 39/53 in camp and complete the 2 follow up quests Elemental Fury and Rescue The Farseer. Final quest from Blademan Inowari in camp - A Tempered Blade - opens WQs

A minor point of improvement; the mount Fabious is not mentioned.
Although I am unable to verify it, as of yet; if you have the addon NPCscan, try the following command.

/npcscan add 65090 Fabious

I am told a quick popup will show up when and if he appears.

This is either wrong or my character is utterly bugged. I have the achievement and the lucid rank 3 on my main, I got the rank 2 lucid on my alt, and can't buy the rank 3 for pearls (my only option is to get it for the new patch currency @ M.O.T.H.E.R

If you left Nazjatar prior to unlocking the portal between the continents, please open the map for Dazar'alor (Horde) or Boralus (Alliance). There is a large gold arrow icon indicating where to go to get back.

I don't know if this hasn't been updated in a while and things changed, but the quest does not pop up even after reaching friendly with all 3 reputations. It seems to need the achievement A Nation United for Alliance - which requires completing the full storylines of all 3 zones. Disappointing.

Nazjatar is buggy, it could be worse... but still i've been working on my crab mount and personally experienced all the really cra cra stuff listed below, that shouldn't made it this far:

summons from the depths -bugged dont get credit for achiev for multiple reasons (phase/death)
blood fin murlocks flying/spawning in sky
naga commander theurgist-nitara disappearing during the middle of a fight (poof gone!) with no explanation anywhere including zone chat
amthyst spireshell( in cave spawn location ) while standing right in front of you get a "target out of range" warning!
defending the pylon (the shoot left/right/up game) is adversely affect by pingrate/addons , I couldn't complete it without disabling my addons
while pulling in the skyrays with the harpoon, if you landed up on a coral it will pull them down to the ground, instead of up to you. i.e. it wasn't coded for flying...
A cove is not a "cave", no need to dismount me while flying in a "Cove" i.e. Brinestone Cove
the color/candy crush game view is sometimes obstructed during play by nearby objects. You truly can't see all the game pieces...
the achievement aqua team murder force does not state ANYWHERE you have to level up the trio to thirty!, currently My achievement text reads "Reach rank 10 with Inanowari" , talk about setting expectations....
mini-map quest borders not matching where quest boundaries actually are
repeatedly experienced Daggertooth Terror inexplicably despawning when I either get in range or fly high to shake other mobs then go back down. poof! gone!
its common to come across a situation while standing on top hidden treasures viewable in mini map (while using scrying stones) not to trigger the scrying button . i.e. more common than to spawn sandcastle....
speaking of the scrying button.... if you loot mana pearls and have another hidden treasure less than 5-10? seconds away, you cannot scry for the next treasure until the mana pearl loot window disappears, because it is literally on top of the scrying button. If you hover over it, the timer resets on the mana pearl loot window and you loose twice the amount of time trying to scry. this is the biggest epic fail in the whole list, overlapping UI windows competing at the same time for real estate, cancelling the loser out.

While I like this guide and all what it doesn't tell you is HOW to get the bloody FOLLOWERS opened up to level them to 20 before the expansion patches...

WoW forums tell you this "After doing the Nazjatar intro, head back to your boat and talk to the captain. They give you a quest to unlock them as a follower. But this isn't true either."

After doing quest "A Tempered Blade" is what unlocks the World Quest AND the Followers Daily. This is AFTER the Magni Bronzebeard Neck upgrade intro quests which sends you back to Nazjatar, and AFTER the High Mountain part scenario.

Jaina's initial quest to unlock Nazjatar is NOT the only thing that needs completion.

October 20, 2020 + : Patch 9.0.1 Hotfixes for October 20
Players who are eligible to visit Nazjatar will no longer be prompted upon log in to start the quests, The Warchief's Order or The Wolf's Offensive. Instead, players can begin their journey to Nazjatar by starting the quest, 派出艦隊 / 派出艦隊, by speaking to 納薩諾斯‧凋零者 or 吉恩‧葛雷邁恩.

Nazjatar is a beautiful and wonderful land. However, I remember how I got tired without flying there. At every turn I was attacked by all the creatures in the land. Even when I was there a character who was dressed very well by the previous raid ... alts then had a very big problem :( I still had to read a lot about - how to get to nazjatar

Nazjatar is the reason why I race changed to Human for the rep boost, just to get this awful slog done ASAP. At least Mechagon has a daily WQ that rewards you around 850 (around 900+ for humans) rep every time, these Nazjatar dailies and the occasional emissary are pathetic. Would it really hurt to make the dailies 250 rep per quest instead of the measly 50-75 or at least, some WQ's that reward rep tokens?

To unlock Mechagnomes, you need to unlock the quest Urgent Care.
To unlock Urgent Care, you must unlock Mechagon.
To unlock Mechagon, you must unlock World Quests in Nazjatar.
To unlock World Quests in Nazjatar, you must complete part of the Nazjatar campaign, including a detour to Silithus from Brann.
To complete part of the Nazjatar campaign, you must unlock Nazjatar.
To unlock Nazjatar, you need to Obtain the Heart of Azeroth.

does it still take level 50 for nazjatar? I am level 10 and i was able to start kul'tiras w/o using chromie. i would assume no, but you never know with blizzard lol

Horde: Go to Zuldazar to the portal room. It should be in the opposite corner from the wall of portals.
