Don't be like me and disenchant the reward from this quest. You need it for the next quest: Create Your Own Strength. Had to use an item restore to get it back.

At the completion of this quest, Jaina rewards you with your choice of 1 of the 3 items sold by Artisan Itanu / Finder Palta.

For those like me trying to figure out what pieces to buy for alts, this quest rewards a choice of hands, legs, or feet.

Trying to complete this on my rogue, I watch the cut scene, but the objective remains unchecked, even tried abandoning the quest a few times

If like me, you completed A Way Home and then left Nazjatar only to come back later to find no follow on quests, read on.
The next quest in the Nazjatar campaign Scouting the Palace, is gated behind the quest Essential Empowerment that you picked up from Magni Bronzebeard to go and speak to Mother.
If like me you abandoned the quest, thinking it wasn't relevant to Nazjatar, you are mistaken.
You will need to follow through with completing the short questline with Mother, to be able to then come back to Nazjatar to continue the quests with Lady Jaina Proudmoore.
Once you've done that you will be able to continue to unlock the remainder of the Nazjatar quests with Lady Jaina Proudmoore, beginning with Scouting the Palace.

Speak with Lady Jaina Proudmoore to observe the scouting party.

It would be an act of folly to assault her palace without knowing what defenses she has in place. I dispatched a scouting team while you were gone, but they have not reported back.
