I currently have 58 reputations on Exalted, so just two more to go. With a bit of luck I can reach 60 in Cataclysm by reaching Exalted with the League of Arathor and the Silverwing Sentinels before the release, but I doubt it.

The title ''the Beloved'' seems like a fun title to me. Hopefully it will be a rare title, not like ''the Exaled'', which most people seem to have now.

You can complete the requirements for this achievement before MoP launch.

It is currently possible to be exalted with 62 factions, or 60 factions if you didn't complete Zandalar Tribe and Shen'dralar before Cata launch.

As of today Wowhead lists 27 new factions in Mists that have been datamined. However, not all presently active in the Beta. There are only 14 official ones. So either more factions need to be implemented or the Beloved title will be reduced to 60. Assuming that the 14 is correct (which seems most likely) you would need to have 46 pre-Mists factions in order to have this title in Mists. If all 27 were implimnted and it stayed here at 70 you would need 43 pre-Mists factions.

Alright, with the updated achievement and title (~~originally in beta title was given to "60 Exalted" achievement~~ Seems like Blizz changed it back. Beta is beta!) it becomes a little harder to get it.

ANOTHER CHANGE: NPC at Halfhill Market counts to the Reputation. So makes this a bit easier.

With Cataclysm it's possible to have 59 Exalted Reputations (56 without PvP ones). Not counting Zandalar Tribe and Shen'dralar reputation that were removed, but for people who have it, it will count further.

We getting approximately 12 new factions (Beta, things can change) for each side. It is still unknown if 尚羲學院 (Pandaren starting zone faction) will convert to Horde or Alliance Pandaren faction reputation or will be separate faction.

Therefore with MoP factions combined, we will have 71 factions or 73 with Zandalar and Shen'dralar.

Note:
- This is beta. Things can change.
- Your guild reputation counts as one. If you leave your guild and join another, it won't be completely new "faction"
- You probably would see more factions encounters and available to you, however with factions like Oracles/Frenzyheart and Aldor/Scryers it's only possible to have one at exalted.
- Some reputation like Hydraxian Waterlords can only be done once a week or cannot be farmed, so if you want this achievement earlier, might want to start grinding now.

This must be completed on one character, so unfortunately you can't grind different reps on different characters.

Ok this one turns out to be a lot easier than I'd expected, now I've read the following from Ghostcrawler (source):

Didn't intend for friendships to count as reps, but they do. If we fix in the future, we'll just lower the count down again.

Here I was hoping for a massive challenge on this one, needing almost every faction available ingame, oh well. WTB 80 exalted reputations achievement...!

According to Greg Street (Ghostcrawler), he answered a question about this on his Twitter.

Do best friendships count towards The Beloved? And if not is Nat Pagle a reputation, or a friendship?
Didn't intend for friendships to count as reps, but they do. If we fix in the future, we'll just lower the count down again. Nat is a friend, not a rep. Same with Half Hill etc.

So as it stands, friendly factions which are currently counting towards it in the beta will stay until further notice. Which means it will be significantly easier to get to 70 factions for many now. Grind on! :)

Currently on Live the Tillers NPCs no longer count towards this upon becoming best friends. That makes this significantly harder to do.

Got Exalted with Gina and it didn't count toward my "Exalted reputations"

I was 58/60 and then got exalted and my counter did not change.

Just FYI.

Edit: Got exalted with Tina and still no reputation change. 58/60 still.

This seems impossible. I'd be fine with 60 or 65, but as it stands, even including hard-to-get-I-will-never-be-able-to-get-exalted reputations, I'd only have 69... o_0

Final Update As of 7.0 release this achievement will be superseded by 70項聲望崇拜, at long last! As someone else on that page took this idea and expanded on it, there's little point in having two competing lists, so I will stop maintaining mine, and will mark this post out of date soon after 7.0 launches. Thanks for all the positive feedback over the last few years; I hope this post has been useful :-)

If you get for example exalted with Aldor and then switch to Scryers, does that count as 2 factions at exalted for this achievement or do you need to have 70 factions at exalted at the same time?

Edit: After some calculations it seems that the factions that I've had exalted with don't count. At the moment I have 58 factions at exalted and since I went the easy way with the Insane in the membrane achievement I'm no longer exalted with goblin cities and pirates so they don't count. Oh well, guess it's time to start farming for them again

i didnt check everyone comments ... but am i the only one who realized that guild rep count toward this ?
because i switched a couple of time of guild these day to find a decent raid group , i got 4-5 guild exalted and they all counted toward the achiv , so anyone who want this achiv the easy way : switch guild , hit exalted rince repeat

Id love to see these get-sooo-many reputation achievements changed to the meta-achievements style so it could be completed among different characters. It could be in a way writen like "get X of the following reputation up to exalted" or something like that.
It would encourage the new "play as you wish" paradigm blizz is seeking. Allowing me to rise knights of the ebon blade with my DK, getting Crusader or the Argent Champion with my pally and Guardian of Cenarius with my... and so on.
Although i dont want to sound like "Blizz must do this... or that..."; they might keep these series of achs to reward a great effort to get them all in a single char and add another achs (with titles and better rewards) for those who achieve it account wide. Tho i see no point in keeping both achs types, because ppl would go get the multiple chars ach through the single char one, specially those who had been working on it and are close to getting it. So, the single character reps achievement could become a FoS for those who already have it.
Any way, the proposed achievement, need rework as now the count of required reps considers that you are either horde or alliance, and in a cross-character environment you could have both. So at least the count would vary, not to mention that it could become a series of meta achievements: "get X reps from alliance", "get X reps from horde", "get X reps from neutral factions", "get 2 of the 3 previous achs", "get them all" :)

confirmin once more; 'friendships' like the factions you turn in at Halfhill in MoP, does NOT count towards any achievement of factions exalted, for whatever reason.

Now, i might just have missed the info about this somewhere, somehow. But non the less, you do NOT get the title of the Beloved for getting 60 exalted reputations! This title is currently given when you get 70 exalted reputions.

Before you troll or downrate me, I get that it's optional and meant to an Uber title and hard to achieve, all the same...

Blizzard need to fix reputation gains - ESPECIALLY the ludicrous pvp ones!

I seriously question whether the '70 Exalted' achievement and 'the Beloved' title are possible without serious health risks from blood clots, RSI and eye strain/damage from the time needed in front of a screen. And years of your life!

I'm at 63 of a possible 72 after years of playing. The Pandaria factions will take me to 69. To get to 70 I need:

(Black Prince - capped at honoured)
(Shang Xi - monks only and possibly capped at honoured)

That leaves leaves Bloodsail, Silverwing or League of Arathor - 1,000's of hours EACH!

Anyone without Shan'drilar & Zandalar would need all three of those.

This isn't a /qq as much as a genuine concern for a game that feeds on obsessive behaviour and NEEDS fixing.

Take the Silverwing Sentinels rep. As a casual pvp'er on a mediocre Alliance server it's not worth the effort as usually the rep gain is zero and I don't particularly like that BG. No flag means ZERO rep for your time and effort. Elsewhere on wowhead people have estimated you need up to 10,000 matches to get the 1,200 flags needed for exalted. That's 5,000 hours of your life. You can do a degree in less time! No thanks, I'll delete the game first. This system is barbaric to the point of sadism. Especially when compared to the AV rep model.

League of Arathor at least awards rep for resource ticks - but that's only put at an average of 75 per game. Win or lose you will as least slowly gain points and I don't mind this one, but you are still talking around 400 or 500 wins to reach exalted. Again, several hundred, possibly over a thousand hours of repeatedly doing the same battleground. It's a game, not a full time job!

And then there are the Bloodsail Pirates where every point gained takes several points from the goblin factions. Getting these to Exalted isn't hard - but getting these exalted whilst keeping exalted with Booty Bay etc is a mammoth undertaking of again hundreds or thousands of man hours mindlessly grinding pirates. I think I once worked out you need to kill 250,000 pirates to do it! At least you can farm a lot of popular transmute sets - like the Tyrant plate mail.

It's not that it's simply a grind, it's that it takes so long that
a) your health is genuinely at risk and
b) it takes time away from actually playing the game, whether it's farming, gearing up, levelling alts on the same server or going for Loremaster as a Tauren instead of a Gnome, say.

You aren't playing the game, the game is playing you. Think on that...

I'm pretty annoyed they changed this from 70 to 60. Blizzard keeps doing stupid things like this when people bust their asses for achievements, then make them easier. They did it with Insane & now this.

I was one of only 3 on the realm pre 5.1 that had this title, now everyone & their mother have it. Rare titles are losing their originality.

Anyone else have issue with Shattrath reps not counting towards the exalted count? I checked my total exalted reps at 48 right before I became exalted with the Aldor and when I checked again it was still 48.

Kinda wished the number of exalted reputations could be shared account wide. Started in BC and played till cata before taking a long break. Got scroll of resurrected so I started maining my newly boosted toon and started playing maining that on MOP instead..

If they're willing to make the requirements for 需要更大的袋子 account wide, I see no reason why Blizz can't do the same for this!

Seems silly that the reputation achievements stop at 60. They should have a 65 reps and 70 reps achievements. I can only assume that WoD upcoming patch will add more achievements onto this, but seems silly that they cut off the achievements 10 (12 if you have legacy factions) shy of what is actually obtainable.
