Please Blizzard. Please. Stop this. Get help, or at least someone who knows what they are doing. Clearly whoever was in charge of this is probably over worked, under paid and doesn't care anymore. ( I get it, I do, Sometimes work be like that)
With that said, as someone who collects mounts, why do they fall short on cool achievements that one should be looking forward to ?
This one not only skips the 450 mount marker and goes straight to 500 but it is a low res, sad recolor of a mount that they couldn't even bother to make look even a little bit cool.
I mean there may only be a few other Yeti looking mounts in the game but there are so many retextures for that model !

Here is list of the Mount Achievements we have so far:

Leading the Cavalry
Mountain o' Mounts / Mountain o' Mounts
We're Going to Need More Saddles / We're Going to Need More Saddles
Mount Parade / Mount Parade
Mountacular / Mountacular
Lord of the Reins / Lord of the Reins
No Stable Big Enough / No Stable Big Enough
A Horde of Hoofbeats / A Horde of Hoofbeats
And then this one:

There has been a mount rewarding achievement every 50 mounts up until 400. Its a nice goal to have when collecting mounts that keeps players invested. It works. Keep it that way.
It's to the point almost where I want to see player made stuff put into the game. Blizzard employees can't seem to do it but this person on reddit or that person on Instagram craps out amazing artwork concepts for mounts/pets/mog etc.
Blizzard go back to stealing ideas from everywhere else if this is the best you have, at least then your content was amusing.

Here are some ideas you can steal- I don't even mind if it helps this ugly thing look better.

Option 1) Remove the Horns-gone. Make it into a gorilla-heck make it look a beefed up version of Gib the Banana-Hoarder ! Already way better ! And instead of the gross bone saddle and a nice red fabric one to match the Fez. Give him a little open, sleeveless, half shirt. And for Blizzard sake make it fly ! When you go to fly let his pop out wings that are way too tiny for his body and have its limbs just hanging there- just like a kittens legs do when it gets picked up by the scruff of the neck! It would be silly-but so amazing, and nothing is better than getting an awesome silly mount from a mount collecting achievement!

Option 2) Make a Star Bound Yeti ! Such as the Reins of the Astral Cloud Serpent or Celestial Steed. Have it fly the same way as above just change the wings to star wings. Easy.

Option 3) Make a Ghostly Yeti- Such as the Spectral Gryphon / Spectral Wind Rider or Reins of the Spectral Steed or Spirit of Eche'ro.

Option 4) Make a Fire and Ice Yeti- Similar to the Elemental Crescent weapon. Have it cycle between 3 states: Lava (3min)/ Stone (5min) / ice (3min) or you know whatever time frame works better. Lava has to be molten goodness-flowing and firey ! The stone state? Nothing special. Just make it look like stone- use a similar texture to the Alabaster Stormtalon / Alabaster Thunderwing. The Ice cycle should be lie a frozen blizzard has just coated the yeti in sold ice ! Have it be magic flowing ice ! Then back to stone before it goes to the Lave phase.

Option 5) Slime Yeti- just like the Slime Cat !

And this if if you just keep the Yeti model.
In the end there are quite a few options that can make this mount from a 1 to a 10. When I think of an achievement mount-especially one that skips 450 and goes straight to 500 (I want to be spoiled with a mount rewarding achievement every 50 mounts-don't judge me! ) I want it to be something that makes me excited! something that makes me want to play more to get the Achievement! These are mount achievements Blizzard! Go big! go bold ! Give us something you can only get when you have collected a crap ton of mounts! Make us want to play more !
Use the ugly brown recolor for something else like a rare drop.
These were some ideas I just pulled out of the air -- from things you have already done in one form or another-- it's not even new stuff ! Seeing this would make me so excited ! Especially one ever 50 mounts ! Heck yeah !

The mount reward functions as both a Ground/Flying & Aquatic mount.

I have 524 mounts on my main according the count on the mount tab, however the achievement says 480 mounts, raised a ticket and got a reply, we are very busy and you have been selected for a GM survey. You can be sure they got a glowing score.

Come on Blizzard bring us more achies for mounts and toys

Dragonflight ended with:

-1704 obtainable pets.
-894 obtainable toys.
-841 obtainable & usable by a single character mounts.

While the last achievement for pets is 1600, for mounts and toys is 'only' 500.

Give us some motivation to keep collecting and don't tell me 'it will be too much for casuals' when there are achievements ingame like 傳說級寵物車輪戰高手 , 榮譽等級500 and others ofcourse.
