You cannot use the whisker on mobs that you have not tapped.

Remember:
Step 1) Loot
Step 2) Whisker
Step 3) Skin

The body remains behind to be skinned once you use the whisker, but once you've skinned it, there's no body to use the whisker on. :) Might seem obvious, but skinners will often do so without even thinking.

Simple quest , find the kittys , spank the kittys use the whiskers in your bag and click on the kitty . WOOT Free the kittys! Coords all around 60 68 , now go make mama kitty proud

There are also a few spawns behind the temple. It was crowded when i was there and they helped speed it up.

you can use whisker before looting. helps you not auto loot like i did =D

I'm currently doing this quest but no matter how many corpses of cursed offspring i used the whiskers on, the questlog wont detect it, this is patch 3.1.3 by the way.

If there are a lot of players in the area and you can't find any of the cursed offspring, go behind where Har'Koa is in the snow and there are quite a few. Also a lot of relics back there too for the other quest.

Har'koa has asked you to use her whisker on the corpses of her children to free and resurrect them. Return to her at the Altar of Har'koa when you are done.

Description

I am the last of the gods to be subdued, so we must first attempt to free the others. Bound by the magics of my subduers, I am unable to discern their fates.

But first, I would ask that you do me a kindness. Already the Drakkari turn my magic against me. They have transformed my offspring into monstrosities.

Take one of my whiskers. Slay my tortured children and use the magic of it to release them from their nightmare, and bring them back to life.
