You dont have to go very far. Just run out the gates of Sylvanaar and look by the bottom of trees for little roots. Very like the un'goro crater quest for the crops and very like the night elf starting place quest for the timberling sprouts.

It's a shame that Blizzard never thought to make these vital defenders that we summon actually assist you when you are attacked, or aggro anything around themsleves. Luckily, I discovered (much by accident) that they can be targeted and attacked, and derived much satisfaction out of killing every damned one I summoned. Take THAT, Rina Moonspring!

Yes, it is weird, but you can attack'em.

If the zone isn't being farmed, the quest can be done in less than one minute. Geez!

for some reason, blizz allowed opposing factions to share the tap list. You don't have to "compete" for the kills of the mobs . This are an accidental by product of the content-push that blizz has to deal with to meet player requests/needs. You can actually cross-faction group, in a way, on these quests. Just an FYI for people like me who suck at PvP/

Use Rina's Bough (provided for the quest) on the Grove Seedlings in The Living Grove, just south of Sylvanaar (map). Here are some TomTom co-ordinations where you can find plenty:
/way 38.55, 71.46
/way 36.22, 71.23

Use Rina's Bough on 5 of the Grove Seedlings to summon forth defenses for the Living Grove.

Description

Though you've done a great deal of good work in defense of our new home here, I still feel that the Living Grove needs more protection.

Please, take this small tree bough that I have imbued with the force of nature. When used upon the seedlings that I have planted out in the grove, it will call down a storm to accelerate the growth of a treant defender.

These treants are critical to the defense of the grove, especially if you choose not to make Sylvanaar your home for long.
