WoD primarily suffered from a lack of content. However, the game was in a far better place in terms of class design, story, and game play systems. WoD was a well polished game. BFA on the other hand suffers in literally all areas of the game. Class design, story, and game play systems in BFA are all terrible. What some of the community seems to fail to understand is that WoD was really only considered a bad expansion because of the lack of content. BFA on the other hand is considered a bad expansion because of a whole laundry list of reasons. BFA may have a lot more content, but it sure isn't good content. In my mind it's the saying of quality over quantity. WoD was a polished game, and BFA was not. That is what makes BFA worse than WoD. At this point it doesn't really matter which was worse. I think BFA is what we can expect from Blizzard from here on out. After cutting their staff and cutting costs WoW expansions are now being made for much much less money and the result is an inferior product. The difference in quality between Legion and BFA is simply astounding. Legion probably cost twice as much to make. The dev team no longer have the numbers or the budget to make an expansion of the same quality as Legion. The future does not look good for WoW at all.
An insanely disappointing ending to an incredibly mediocre expansion.
Haven't been on retail since Classic launched, I see I have made the right choice.
What's interesting is:In heroic, N'zoth survives at 1.5% health. That's right. We don't kill him, or see his health reach 0.Either this means there is more to come in mythic, or N'zoth lives another day.
So we're a champion of Azeroth? Does that mean, for once, the likes of Thrall, Baine, Jaina and Audiun won't take credit for all our hard work as usual?
Plot twist, there is a 8.3.5 and Ion just says N'Zoth corrupted his mind, thinking he's funny... please... I'll laugh I promise!
this is the most disappointing cinematic ive ever experienced in a video game. ever. in my entire life.
