And of course the genocide that started this expansion is unresolved. The Nigh Elves are still refugees, Tyrande is still in her edgelord phase, and Syvanus is still warming up to ruin yet even more lore. If this was really an intended outcome Malfurion should have died; I'd trade him to kill Nathanos in a heartbeat. What a steaming, festering, parasite-poxed pile of nothing this expansion is.
Funny how yall try to put people down cause they have different thoughts and theory's.Like it out not N'zoth could be still alive in the blade and this could be his plan. Or we lost and wake up in shadows lands. You don't like that so what i and other can express there thoughts.

Really the N'Zoth problem is that Nya'lotha looks like stapled on content. It's a bizarre swerve to spend so much of BfA's effort doing mundane things (in what's clearly an intended setting power reset) like building a fleet and harvesting Azerite and winning allies only to literally have it all get sucked down the drain to fight a villain behind another villain who wasn't set up as part of BfA at all...(And who stole the Tidestone offscreen instead of just doing it herself because most powerful caster in WoW.)...which has no bearing on the core Horde v. Alliance conflict.(Which SL appears utterly afraid to address; probably because BfA intended to be a much bigger project before something, probably Battlefronts, went wrong and Blizz discovered that while most people don't hate BfA I like do I bet everybody hates something about BfA)Unless Aszara is mid-boss before Sylvanus.Somehow.Sounds wretched, but Garrosh sure didn't get a bold send off.Anyway. And hence the ending looks rushed and generic. Hell, Blizz could have taken the chance to recharge the Legendaries and deliver the death stroke with one of those instead.I think that would have been much cooler.......Oh right except maybe Sylvanus is manipulating N'Zoth to feed souls to the Jailer and thus provokes Aszhara into a war with the surface Sylvanus somehow knows Azshara can't win in expectation that a flood of Naga souls will do ...something for her.Oh wait! Maybe the twist will be that Sylvanus was trying to save Azeroth from N'zoth and knew she couldn't do that without starting a world war, eternally staining her pawns as authentic murderers (again really but who's counting) but not only proving that all along she wasn't just the true savior of Azeroth but because the heroes will confront and destroy the now-insane Jailer Sylvanus becomes the savior of all of WoW from the living to the dead!*joker-esque laughter*
You guys seem to forget that other Old Gods died with no cinematic at all...... I call this an improvement. Yogg and C'thun were not even expansion ending bosses.
jesus christ its awful. just like the writing of this entire expansion.
Shouldn't there be cataclysmic repercussions for this? The whole point of imprisoning old gods and not killing them is that killing an old god would destroy (at least partly destroy) Azeroth.Edit: Nvm, it happens on a different plane of existence apparently(?), so Azeroth doesn't care.
This is the perfect !@#$ ending to such an atrocity like BFA. Oh my, if anyone was expecting anything even relatively good, I guess you were playing a different expansion than me.
