This item has a chance to drop from the rare Gallagio Garbage during a S.C.R.A.P. event. He has a chance to spawn after reaching 500/500 progression.
It seems the rare was not spawning on release and was hotfixed to now be spawning. The chance for him to spawn is still relatively low. Hopefully blizzard make him spawn more frequently because currently this is a very unenjoyable farm.

Edit: The mount dropped for me on my 6th attempt. Over my 6 raids I saw 7 drops out of 232 players, which puts it at almost exactly 3% (though this sample size is low, and it may be higher/lower).

Edit 2: I was able to loot blue items from his loot table on reset, so it seems like the mount can be farmed daily and not weekly.

After 40 attempts, all at 500, Gallagio Garbage finally spawned and I was lucky enough to get this mount on my first attempt.

The spawn rate is awful though considering this isn't a 100% drop chance

This has to be one of the worst mount farms they've ever created.

Low spawn chance for the rare + low droprate for the mount. All that and you can't even semi-afk camp it.

It took me like an hour or two of actively digging to spawn per alt, for then to not even see a single drop in a 40man raid 6 times now

Salvaged Goblin Gazillionaire's Flying Machine is a rare drop from Gallagio Garbage, which can rarely spawn after completing the Trash shoveled bar during scrap events in Undermine.
There is currently a lot of misinformation being spread about this rare, so let me clear it up!

1. The S.C.R.A.P. Bot does not affect the rare spawn. Feel free to use or ignore it, it does not make a difference.
2. The rare spawns once the bar reaches 500, not after the event finishes. Feel free to do something else while waiting for the event to end.
3. You can farm it infinitely on the same character.
4. Salvaged Goblin Gazillionaire's Flying Machine is tradeable between raid members, and you can loot duplicates even after learning the mount.

This rare is not great to farm and I wish all of you that are after it -a lot- of good luck. You'll need it! <3

I've read some comparing this mount to that of Iska or Karokta but, in reality, IT IS A MILLION TIMES WORSE for one reason in particular: YOU NEED A GROUP (even quite large, 10+ at least) to spawn the rare. If you add a) that Gallagio is really rare (the last spawn took EXACTLY 2 hours and 21 minutes), b) that the mount has a 1% chance anc c) this is a "no camperable mount" it all makes this the MOST ABSURD mount ever put into WoW.

This is a SERIOUS LACK OF RESPECT towards the players and Blizzard continues not to listen to the requests of the players who pay the subscriptions (and their salaries) and not to mention all the "packages" and promotions with mounts, toys and pets at crazy prices taking advantage of our desire to collect.

As far as I'm concerned, after 20 years I say enough: I quit.

Do NOT start the S.C.R.A.P. Heap until at least 3 people are there. You can't get to 500 on your own. It's difficult with 3. Too many obstacles.

Rare has a low chance of spawning after reaching 500 only!
Gallagio Garbage spawned after about the 7th time of actually reaching 500.

1. You can't dig again until all bombs have been kicked away
2. You can't dig again until all the bags in the green circles are picked up.
3. You can't dig again until all the little fires out. Stand on them to put them out.
4. If you are able to dig, DIG! Don't worry about killing the adds unless you have too.

Once you are Renown 7, you can buy the Kaja'Cola X-Treme for 40 silver from the machine next to the heap which doubles your dig rate for 20 seconds.
Once you are Renown 16, you can buy the Kaja'Cola X-Treme Mega-Can for 1 gold from the machine next to the heap which doubles your dig rate for 1 minute.

Does anyone know if this thing has a spawn cooldown? People will obviously relog on to an alt and keep farming, but they could be farming in a group that just had a kill....

I was able to look Gallagio several times in the same day on the same character, I got it my fourth attempt that day with the same toon. It took me around ~30 attempts to get this mount.

The rare spawning was giga buffed. It spawned 3/4 times that we filled up the bar. At least one mount dropped in each of the kills also. ty blizzard. & yes, you can use the same toon to loot

Spawn rate is dramatically improved today, and there is no loot lockout. Got this on the 44th kill of the day. I've been farming for many hours.

Got this and the matching Mog Back piece about 15 minutes on my Alt Lock. Blizz had him popping up like every 5 minutes if you made it to 500, so I got pretty lucky , only took 8 Alts.

A valid spawn rate has now been implemented, as it should have been from day one. Get your mount quickly chaps, in a months time no one will be doing this activity and it will be a lot harder (although probably still possible to solo).

After the latest changes, I managed to get this mount after roughly 25 attempts in one day on one toon. So I can confirm that there is no longer a loot lockout on the rare (For the mount only. Not the gear).

As someone who has acquired the mount before the spawn rate was boosted, I'm here to add my two cents on blizzard's 100 IQ design choices.

THIS is how it should've been implemented from the beginning, not only after 1 week of people grinding the crap out of it, not knowing if blizz will address the issue or just ignore it for a century (*cough* Rhuv/Iska *cough*).

With moves like this Blizzard is creating a weird space, where players don't know if they should engage with content or not, because some times the "exploit early, exploit often" option is clearly OP, and will lead to disciplinary action against people who 'abuse' something, whilst in other cases the design is so crap, that it feels like a torture to participate in it, but again, players don't know if it's intended or not.

My point is.. this has to stop, and blizz has to stop making last moment adjustments to events that have been rolled out differently on PTR.

It's possible to farm the mount on same char the same day (U'll just loot gray items , but mount can drop ) , and on same char it's possible to loot it multiple times even if u earned it already ! (I got it twice the same day , got pretty Lucky, NGL )

Note did it in an raid grup of 20 players *

I got the mount on my 34th attempt of the day with the same character.

It can be traded with group members, and a character who already knows it can loot it again.

To have a chance of spawning the rare, you must scrap the pile of trah until the gauge reaches 500. If nothing is preventing you from scrapping, you must scrap. Otherwise, you must quickly resolve the reason preventing you from scrapping.

The amount of vultures farming this non-stop in big groups and writing "WTS" immediately after dropping it is crazy. How did we even come to this? Is this like a generational thing?

I remember people were doing this with Rufus also and when I personally dropped a second one my instant reaction was "roll". I play WoW for over 10 years, though, so I suppose being fair is considered "old school" now or something. *shrug*

This just dropped for me after killing my first rare...wasn't farming for it...I was doing the surge pricing event and saw a rare up. I stopped my car and got out quick enough to tag it and dps it down and then I checked my bag and saw this lmao

I was out getting my three salvage jobs in and arrived at a site with 10 seconds left on the timer. I started just mining cans when I noticed everyone was hitting on this rare spawn that I vaguely remembered hearing about but hadn't seen yet, and I thought to myself "I should probably hit that before it dies."

"Oh, hey, a mount. Neat."

Mount dropped for me today! The Gallagio Garbage spawned for me multiple times on the same toon, and I got it on the 3rd spawn in the same day. So you don't have to necessarily alt hop/wait for daily reset to get the mount to drop

I believe that the chance of dropping above the stated 1.4%. I killed this rare elite twice, and both time mount droped to me.

The rare seemed to spawn in about 1 in 3 digs after the buff. It took me 34 kills tonight to finally see it drop. Sometimes there was a nice run of several spawns in a row, then a drought of 3 or 4 which made it tedious, but it's far better than it was.

This mount dropped three times for me tonight, and when I tried to trade it to the other players who were with me, they ignored the trade! So now I am sitting on 2 unlearned mounts! Nothing fancy was done, I was farming SCRAP heaps to get the Vintage Kaja Can, and it dropped from the Gallagio Garbage that spawned in all three piles.

It is just barely possible with 2 players if you are focused on digging and resolving issues to reach the Gallagio Garbage, but only if you spend the 100 gold on the S.C.R.A.P. Bot to help immediately upon starting the heap, otherwise I would encourage 3 players to reach 500 because it is difficult depending on the interruptions that trigger and make sure you get 1 in every 3 cans of Kaja'Cola thrown by the Kaja'Cola Dispenser (the blue circle on the ground) which are thrown regardless of purchasing from it to get a 30% dig speed and movement buff. The rare only has around a 30-50% chance of occurring when the heap reaches 500 and will only spawns upon hitting 500.

The 3 events that makes the heap untargetable can be resolved as follows:

Wiggling Bag - Help the cat out of the bag by clicking to open, the last player to click gets a cat on your head buff for a few seconds with an actual cat... on your head.
Discarded Bomb - Just kick these as fast as possible, and help others because not everyone will know they have to kick them as many have been running from the bombs.
Fire - Step on the fire, this is the fastest to resolve, especially if you have the Kaja'Cola speed buff.

Gallagio Garbage can drop both the Salvaged Goblin Gazillionaire's Flying Machine and the Gold-Inlaid Jetpack after the first kill of the day, when it no longer counts as a rare, and multiple times per character per day. These items are tradable to all who tagged him on that particular kill.

Each tier achieved while digging will give you more Market Research and a higher chance for a Vintage Kaja'Cola Can from the end chest. You also have a chance of Market Research and a Vintage Kaja'Cola Can from every pick at the heap, although the chances are rather low, especially for the cans. This is still the fastest way to earn the Darkfuse Lowdown Coat by earning an easily farmable amount of guaranteed Market Research, and often in doing so you can and likely will get multiples of the unique drops from the Gallagio Garbage, so if you do please offer these to other participants :)

Got this mount after 78 attempts. I can confirm it can be looted after multiple kills of Gallagio Garbage. I was able to loot it on the same toon after roughly 20+ kills in 3hours.

Its best to do this while others are also farming it, for better chances of completing the salvaging. Better to do this now while its current, as it may become hard/impossible to solo during future content.

Can confirm this can drop after the mob goes from rare to elite after your first kill of the day. Didn't even know it could drop a mount, i was just doing dailies. Dropped after 3 kills.

I believe the drop change has drastically been reduced since patch 11.1.0. My friend got 2 when he started playing in Undermined when the patch launched, thinking this should be an easy farm boy was I wrong...

On attempt 106 and I don't think I've seen another person in a group looting it.
