Talent System Overhaul: Replaced traditional talent trees with a new system offering one of three talents every 15 levels (6 tiers total). Talents are now utility-focused; core spells are learned from your chosen specialization.

New Core Cooldown: Dark Soul, with a unique effect for each specialization. Replaces Demon Soul.

Dark Soul: Knowledge Demonology: +30% Mastery for 20s

New Resource: Demonic Fury – Automatically generates to 200 out of combat. Builds up via spells like Shadow Bolt, Corruption. Spent while in Metamorphosis.

Metamorphosis: Now a toggleable stance. Increases damage by 24% and grants access to demon-exclusive spells. Replaces cooldown-based Meta.

Meta-only Spells:

Touch of Chaos: Replaces Shadow Bolt. Instant-cast damage, extends Corruption.

Chaos Wave: Replaces Hand of Gul'dan in Meta. AoE burst + 30% slow.

Carrion Swarm: Instant AoE knockback + interrupt.

Dark Regeneration – Heals you and your pet for 30% of your max health and increases healing received by 25% for 12s. 2-minute cooldown.

Soul Leech – Passive shield that scales with damage dealt (max 10%). Lasts 15s. Triggered by offensive abilities.

Harvest Life – Enhances Drain Life by increasing its damage by 50% and healing by 150%.

Tier 2 Talents

Demonic Breath – Cone slow (10 yards, 50%) for 6s. 20s cooldown.

Mortal Coil – Fear for 3s and heals for 15% max HP. 45s cooldown. Great for survival and CC.

Shadowfury – AoE stun for 3s in an 8-yard radius. Useful for mob control.

Tier 3 Talents

Soul Link – Redirects 20% of incoming damage to your demon and heals you both for 3% of the damage you deal. Passively increases max HP by 20% if used with Grimoire of Sacrifice.

Sacrificial Pact – Sacrifices 25% of your demon's current health to give you a 10s shield worth 400% of that amount. Sacrifices your health if no demon is present.

Dark Bargain – Grants immunity to all damage for 8s. Afterward, 50% of the prevented damage is dealt over 8s. 3-minute cooldown.

Tier 4 Talents

Blood Horror – Melee attackers are feared for 4s. Lasts 1 min or until triggered. Costs 5% of max health to activate.

Burning Rush – Toggle to gain 50% movement speed. Drains 4% of max HP per second. You cannot be slowed below normal run speed while active.

Unbound Will – Removes all magic, movement-impairing, and loss-of-control effects. Costs 20% of your max HP. Note that this also removes an enemy's Unstable Affliction, causing it to deal critical damage and silence you.

Tier 5 Talents

Grimoire of Supremacy – Replaces standard minions with stronger versions that deal 20% more damage and gain unique abilities.

Grimoire of Service – Grants new instant-summon abilities (2-minute CD). Summons a second demon for 20s:

Grimoire: Felguard – Felguard (Demonology only).

Grimoire: Felhunter – Felhunter.

Grimoire: Imp – Imp.

Grimoire: Succubus – Succubus.

Grimoire: Voidwalker – Voidwalker.

Grimoire of Sacrifice

Felguard: Axe Toss – 4s stun (Felguard).

Imp: Singe Magic – Dispel debuffs (Imp).

Felhunter: Spell Lock – Interrupt (Felhunter).

Voidwalker: Shadow Bulwark – +30% max HP (Voidwalker).

Succubus: Whiplash – AoE knockback (Succubus).

Tier 6 Talents

Archimonde's Darkness – Grants 2 charges of Dark Soul, allowing flexible usage and better proc alignment.

Kil'jaeden's Cunning – Lets you cast Shadow Bolt while moving.

Mannoroth's Fury – Increases radius of Hellfire (caster) and Goblin Glider by 500% and doubles their damage for 10s. (Effective radius increase is ~125%.)

Form Weaving is Core: You need to master the pacing of entering/exiting Meta to optimize resource flow and cooldown timing.

Snapshotting Still Matters: While less punishing, you still want to align Doom, Soul Fire, and Shadowflame with procs.

No More Pet Micromanagement: Pet twisting is gone. Set your Felguard and focus on the fight.

New Skill Element: Shadowflame weaving with Hand of Gul'dan adds a precise timing mini-game to your rotation.

Fury Management = Damage Management: Wasting Fury or entering Meta at the wrong time hurts. Planning is key.

Which Warlock is now the best one?Comment by TastelikelemonBack in the days it was the most entertaining and fun spec to play , especially with the cool transformation of Metamorphosis and those changes will improve the gameplay even more in to superbly smooth playstyle. There was an abuse with the talented Drain Life spell , that when you "mash" the button with specific macro and haste % it was dealing double tick damage and once you combine it with your Meta burst , after you spend your "charges" of spells , you drain life as remaining filler and amplify your damage by like 50% more "peak" burst , lets hope it still works :DComment by CraxiWith all the changed we got recently.
