I wouldn't mind seeing Naaru become antagonists (It worked on Babylon 5). I'd like to know what happened between the end of WoD and the Mag'har recruitment questline. Yrel deserves some kind of redemption. As far as Calia is concerned, I have no attachment. If she becomes a raid boss in the future, it won't bother me.
Calia is such an amazing character in the sense she is the only character that was able to pass Med'an in how terrible and unliked she is.
I trust her.
Another salty forsaken who doesn't like Calia because they miss their genocide waifu who murdered a plethora of innocent Horde and Alliance. Blizzard likely is going to keep Calia at the head of the forsaken, time to stop coping. Sylvanas will eventually come back, but likely as a more neutral figure, so she can operate from the shadows where she works best. It's funny though that said salty player had to go through the mental gymnastics of this insane theory as if Blizzard have ever written something as convoluted and played out in game before. They keep the story simple for the most part.
The most what is suspicious is the fact that both factions hold light fanatic atm. Calia is light undead at horde even Vojin was ress by Naru right? Turalyon is also a light boy.Best description about Forsaken Sylvanas made: https://youtu.be/QQ63HNHLSeI?t=61 , Sylvanas, Illidan they r both gone only characters that would not be fall under influence of the cult as is light.
Well, but she has good boob yoL
Dang! What a read! I love long in depth lore posts like this. One of my favourite things about WoW is the astronomical potential the lore can go in so many directions! There could also be a huge post about this and the void, as of now it currently is in the storyline, because though there is a lot of wonder about the light the void has it's moments where it could also not be so terrible- perhaps terribly misunderstood.I can't wait for more WoW lore to come out. Thanks for the hard work and citing for this perspective!
Calia lost pretty much all trustworthiness when it was revealed that an "ex" void god (Saraka/Saa'ra) had been manipulating pretty much everything that involved her. We as characters can't really know if the purification of Saraka actually worked since void gods are among the strongest beings known to exist and since Sakara is the only case of it happening.
Imo Light or other cosmological forces can be trusted AS LONG as you share their values and wish to side with them, but if you do not share values and don't want to side with a particular cosmological force, then by logic, you as a unit can't trust them
The constant fake controversy over this character is starting to get weird.
Why she was ever seen as a good guy since the book that came before BFA, I'll never know. She CAUSED BFA to happen. The H vs A part anyway.
I find it funny here that many of the comments hate Calia with a passion, but at the same time request Forsaken Paladins.Or looking down on same-sex couples while fantasizing Anduin x Wrathion. Draenei warlocks and red-skinned eredar paladins/shaman are also fine and dandy, but Calia being a Lightforged undead isn't.Such double standards. The fandom complains about Blizzard butchering its own lore, but they're quick to do it themselves the moment it becomes an inconvenience for them. It's why Horde visits Bel'ameth despite what they've done, or Forsaken helping Gilneas, because its such a horrible idea to be locked from certain content because they play one side.
I don't trust anyone in the Warcraft universe. They are all lying scumbags looking out for their own interests.
