This is a massive W for Blizzard. We love Blizzard!
No colour customisation is a huge huge L.
Well, RIP plater. Another bad replacement by Blizzard
Blizzard is heroically trying to solve problems it unnecessarily created itself.
No colour customization is kinda meh, tbh.
Okay most of this seems actually good, tho I hope they change it so you can add some spice by making it all pink :D
Why no color customization? Also colors based on states like enrage or dispel-able would be nice.
If that little ass glow is the only thing they've added to track important interrupts we're so cooked.
What about tank plates? Have they done anything similar to the addon where nameplates are colored by aggro or do you need to check which borders are orange like in the current defaults?
Is there any settings for diminishing returns in PvP?
so they banned WA just to give us this LOL20 years of same ol blizz is so funny
so Big W or Big L? Can't win with everyone.
It actually looks really good.
Of course the customization is easier when it has 1/100th of the available features.Plater is miles ahead of what these nameplates offer, and it's so sad to let it go. It's not only coloring, it's also modding/plugins. There is a very good plugin available for Plater that allows you to see on the cast bar whether your interrupt is ready or will be ready for a cast. That insane QoL will just never be replaced by Blizzard.
Nice, these look great. Good job Ion "Gigachad" Hazzikostas!
I can already do this and more. What is the point of Blizzard letting addon makers improve their games for 20 years, ripping off their work but leaving some things out, and then banning the addon? Addon makers are constantly developing their addons, while Blizzard neglects most parts of the game year after year. So they're basically going to snapshot the state of addons right now, keep it forever, and deny us any further innovations that could have happened, just to give us a worse version of what we already have. Why?
Honestly that's not bad looking. Would've preferred having debuffs applied on the side instead of on top for sake of stacking plates.
I want to be able to adjust the range of the plates (like Plater allows). I don't want to see nameplates for things greater than 40 yards away that I can't hit. Hopefully we'll still be able to mess around with that in Midnight.
